As someone who has had no prior experience with coding (and genuinely thinking I would never learn), SheCodes was amazing at explaining step-by-step what coding elements are, what they did, and how to build upon all the lessons. I've been super excited to show my husband the webpage I've built and have shown a few friends some of the extra pages I've built from scratch as well. This has been a really amazing course, and I can't wait to continue my journey and take a step deeper into the coding world.

I was feeling a little lost when my brother told me to try this. I decided to give it a go. I was surprised when I found I loved it. Because of that, I found a new passion... coding! I really enjoyed the classes and I'm very excited for the rest of my coding journey. The challenges we got after each lesson was a great way to understand the lessons better. Working for TikTok before and now, Asurion, sparked my interest in all things tech-related but mostly coding. The thing is, I didn't know where to start so I spent weeks and weeks looking for the perfect online coding class. Yes, there's a lot of free courses out there, but I know myself. Without proper structure and motivation, I'd simply fail. I was so glad then when I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram. I looked it up, went through each workshop's details to see which one fits me the most, read the testimonials, even checked out some of the alumni's LinkedIn profiles to make sure the reviews were legit. And it was. I just finished SheCodes Basics and couldn't be happier and more proud of myself. Matt is an amazing instructor--he's clear and explains things really well. As someone with minimal coding background, I was able to grasp everything Matt talked about easily. I also love that the lessons are structured and that each lesson is followed by challenges where I get to practice what I just learned. I found SheCodes at a perfect time in my life: while I was between jobs and thinking I should add to my skill set as a graphic designer. I've been working as a graphic designer for many years, but I always felt that I needed to learn coding to optimize my work in the digital world and stay up to date. I started this workshop as a hobby. I've always had an interest in technology and needed to figure out if programming was something I was passionate about. After these 3 amazing weeks I am interested in continuing this new "adventure".
Love that Matt walks you logically through each step of the coding fundamentals. It's super beginner-friendly and the challenges that follow each exercise help to put to practice what you learn. The SheCodes team is amazing and very prompt in answering general questions about the workshop as well as troubleshooting when you get stuck (which you inevitably will, but that's all part of the coding process!).

I tried many years ago to develop Front-End skills, but after HTML and CSS I felt overwhelmed and - without a real project - just stuck. Then I got a real possible project to work on at my job. At the same time I bumped into SheCodes. It was love at first sight! My company and my university helped me out and I just started. With SheCodes one can find not only a really clear and project-driven learning environment, but also a community of people ready to expose their wins and failures, mistakes and eurekas... I even met some of my fellows in real life, sharing this passion and trying to do better all together :D Now it is possible for me to play with JavaScript, APIs, hosting platforms and GitHub. Just amazing what you can achieve in some months! Looking forward to complete the next steps!
It was amazing to learn something new and discover a new passion! I could never imagine that in a 3 weeks time I would be able to build my own mini website as well! The classes were so easy to understand and follow, it was also greatly designed to fit in in my busy working schedule. Definitely the most challenging SheCodes workshop. It helped me to understand how React works, how complex and powerful it is. I think it was a great introduction to React, but there is so much learning and independent practicing to do. It feels amazingly rewarding, yet already a bit sad that half year of SheCodes journey has come to an end for me. Thank you Matt and the whole team!
This course is amazing. It's very well structured. I have tried to learn from many websites, though they all contain all information I was never able to keep up. SheCodes structure and the pace are perfect..yes perfect.
This was such a fun course, although the java script weeks earlier on were a huge learning curve, it's amazing to see how far you come at the end. I really enjoyed how the course was structured and feel like I've learnt a lot. If you're interested in learning more about coding, I would definitely recommend!
