SheCodes has been amazing! Matt Delac has an easy way of teaching and even shows us that professionals can sometimes make mistakes. This made it much easier for me to jump right in to building my portfolio and changing the code to match my wants.
Learning how to code with SheCodes is much more easier than I thought. It is an amazing experience and I strongly recommend SheCodes to all women around the world!
Honestly, I thought that it would be impossible for me to learn to code at this pace that I am learning now. After only 2 weeks, I could write a page with some interaction from scratch. IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!
I've found SheCodes throught other women who had already had the Basic workshop and immediatly thought this was for me. It's an amazing start to coding, especially for women, like me, who have zero knowladge. Very easy to follow but I really feel it gave me the tools to start this Coding Journey.

SheCodes has been an amazing experience for me. I have gained so much knowledge of something that I thought I'd never do because it was too "difficult". The way Matt explains every lesson is amazing, he's very close and you feel comfortable even when you feel like you can't do it, he makes it look simple! I cannot wait to get to my next workshop.
React was a challenge compared to the rest of the workshop but then it gives you the insight of how real life is going to be. I had abit of a time trying to debug my apps and as Matt say the smallest thing was enough to set it off. Regardless, when everything works the feeling of accomplished was amazing.
This course was amazing! I learned a lot about how to make web pages responsive & SEO friendly, which is going to be very helpful in the future. The lessons are easy to follow along with, and I now have a portfolio that I can continue to update when I have more SheCodes projects!

Amazing hands-on training. Because they teach you how to test and visualize your code it is fun to play around while learning. Would not recommend just this workshop but the whole package > Shecodes PLUS.

I loved the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I didn't have any coding experience and I didn't know anything about what is taught in SheCodes. During the workshop, I was always thinking that it was going to be in the next lesson that I wouldn't understand the content, but that never happened! The short videos with MattΒ΄s clear and straightforward explanations guide you step by step and cement knowledge, one on top of the other. From the beginning I had no doubts that I was really learning and IΒ΄ve completed the challenges and projects with confidence in what I was doing. And to get to know some coding and learning tools used by professionals is really valuable. If you, like me, have realized that programming skills can make your projects come true, SheCodes Basics is a wonderful and very useful way to get started. On the other hand, if you still need to understand if programming can help you with something, it will certainly be enlightening. Congratulations to the SheCodes team for their amazing work!

I heard so much appraisal of SheCodes before, but I never realized how amazing this workshop would be until I participated myself. so I highly recommend SheCodes specially to those women who tend to learn coding without attending in computer school or any related major in university. why? because Matt Delac is the best programming teacher I've ever had. The course has been amazing! It's organized in a way that's very easy to follow, even for complete beginners. I also really like the fact how Matt encourages you to explore things on your own even if they are not explicitly discussed in the initial tutorials. That gives us more opportunities to explore on our own, and it has helped me grow even more.

This was an amazing opportunity to learn a new skill. At first I thought coding would be almost impossible but after watching the videos, doing challenges, and the homeworks; I realized it is not as impossible as I thought it would be. The video explanations and the Slack channel made it so easy to learn (faster than I thought I was capable of).

There's not enough good things i can say about this course. very useful topics and it covers almost everything you need or gives you an idea how to learn further more. I had an amazing time working on this portfolio and challenging myself.
I put off learning how to code because for the longest time, I didn't know where to start! The format of SheCodes teaching is by far the best I've experienced. The learn at your own pace and in bite-sized chunks makes it easier to learn and somewhat addictive at the same time - you actually want to go to the next workshop to build on your knowledge. The fact that there is no fixed time for the classes and you can fit into your schedule is also great! I am shocked at what I have been able to create in just three weeks! Matt is a BRILLIANT teacher! I can't thank the SheCodes team enough for such an amazing programme (and I got it at a bargain - thanks Black Friday!) I really would recommend this course to anyone who has considered coding, but may not know where to start. You really won't regret it!
I had never written a single line of code before taking this workshop and it is amazing how much I learned in two weeks. The content was very well organized in short, digestible pieces, perfect for beginners. The workshop was didactic, attractive, and hands-on. I would say it was addictive as I always eager to go to the next lesson to learn more.

I have tried other coding courses in the past and nothing compares to SheCodes. Matt does an amazing job at explaining the "WHY" factor which is very important to most people. He gives us clear explanation as to why something is the way it is. Granted not all things in coding can be explained but for the most part, I understood every function and with this knowledge, I can apply it to my projects. Although I sometimes found it difficult to balance being a teacher and keeping up with the curriculum and deadlines, I am so happy that I decided to complete the 24 weeks of SheCodes bootcamps (from Basics to React). I enjoyed learning with Matt, and Slack is an amazing source of help. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in learning to code.
Great course, wouldn't change a thing :) I am a bit sad that it has come to an end as this is the last workshop. Quite happy though to have discovered SheCodes and became part of this amazing community and learning platform.

I have been interested in coding for a while because I think it is a skill that everyone should know these days. I was curious to understand how websites and apps are made and how they work. I always thought that I couldn't do it, but hey! I did it, that means that EVERYONE CAN!!
