This workshop has been amazing. I took a few computer science classes during college but never got the hang of it. The SheCodes work is a great course. It builds upon the knowledge gained during the Basics course and introduces you to the development tools and processes used in today's world. SheCodes has been one of the best things I started in years. The video's are amazing, the community is great and it's a very easy and good start te learn how to code. and don't forget: it's so much fun! SheCodes Plus is an amazing course to expand on what you learn in the Basics course - and it's so much fun! Javascript can be confusing at times but Matt is an excellent teacher and explains it so well at every step. I really enjoyed learning how to integrate real data into a working weather app and I'm looking forward to learning even more with SheCodes!
Learning to code is really fun, especially when you are tutored by someone as amazing as Matt. The information that you learned in each video is very brief but when in the end of the workshop, you will be definitely surprised by what you have learned!

I am currently within the HR career path. However, I have always been curious about coding. I heard about SheCodes last year, and I decided 2022 was going to be my year to EMBARK on this coding journey. The main aspect I was interested in with coding was web design. π©π½βπ»I enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS. I did not expect to learn as much as I did in this coding basics class. All the lessons are ordered in a way for easy learning and comprehension. Matt is an amazing teacher. With each homework assignment and project, you get to test your knowledge! I was hesitant to learn this on my own- however with the support of the SheCodes squad/other learners, I felt empowered that if I didn't understand- I could reach out on the real-time Slack chat. My final project reflects my love for baking! I tried to make it simple yet modern. There are still some concepts I would love to learn in order to implement for further development of my web design skills! I'm not sure what the future is for my coding journey as of now. Now that I have completed the SheCodes Plus workshop I am fully aware of my capabilities as a coder. It was amazing to see what I am capable of and it was all thanks to Matt's simple and direct way of teaching. This course had inspired me to continue pursuing frontend development.

SheCodes React is an amazing course. It's challenging, lots to learn, but once you complete it, you'll feel accomplished and have so much more knowledge in such a short amount of time. Matt explains things very well. He is real and will show you that even an advanced developer still has much to learn. Loved this course!
The SheCodes video classes and their other resources are amazing, and the team is extremely helpful. Matt's videos are very easy to follow and I love the fact that they are not scripted so we can learn even more from him as he films himself coding in real-time with all the inherent challenges. Another plus is Matt always shows us the best coding practices, even when he says: "You don't have to do this but I highly recommend (...)" π So I can't recommend this workshop enough for people who are beginning their coding journey like me. It is a bliss!!

I liked the fact that the course had structure and deadlines. Really helpful in making sure I kept up with the course. The support team was brilliant and amazing at what they do. I did find bits of it slow or tedious - but I actually enjoyed the final project. I will be continuing on to the next course. would recommend for complete beginners. the way Matt talks you through step by step really helps you focus. 3 months ago I didn't even know how to write a single line of HTML and now I've created 4 projects with SheCodes! I just turned 42- you are never to old to start something new. Matt and the SheCodes team are absolutely amazing. This is unlike any other bootcamp or workshop you may have tried before. The video's are structured in a way that anyone can learn. The community of teaching assistants Slack and other students are always there to help with any questions. The timing of the workshops can be done around any schedule - work, school kids if you have 15 minutes you have time for SheCodes. Thank you to Matt and the entire team for helping pursue new career opportunities.

I come from a health care background looking to transition to the digital and technological world. I saw many opportunities for bootcamps, self-paced studies, and other coding resources but what I loved about SheCodes is that it gave me structure. I am well capable of learning on my own, but because I am so new to the industry, I didn't know where to even start. SheCodes Basic was an amazing experience. The lectures are very straightforward and filled with all the information you will need to succeed in completing all the lesson challenges and final project. The video lectures never got too long and monotonous, Matt did a great job organizing and blocking certain topics and following it up with a hands on challenge. He also gave the solutions after each challenge with the opportunity to resubmit and correct your work if necessary. Help was always available through the Slack chat and a team member always responded within a timely manner. This course was a great introduction to solidifying my future plans. I will be continuing this journey and diving in deeper! Thank you Matt and Team for helping me understand this whole new world of computer language!

SheCodes workshops are amazing, but I really like this one, because it is close to Graphic Design. The final proyect is a portfolio, I recomend to use this oportunity and look futher to our futures, work slowly work secure and use this proyect in real life.
Going through the workshop was pretty intense, for all the good reasons. I usually paused and asked myself how hard it would have been learning all that Java Script without an instructor who broke everything into reasonable bits that one can easily absorb and process. Matt has been such a great instructor. The Slack technical team was amazing too. Well, Slack is where I learnt from other SheCoders that it is OK to feel stuck while working on a project, and that there is no shame at SheCodes if you cannot piece everything together at a given time. We are all learning and supportive of each other. Definitely, SheCodes is the place to be for everyone willing to learn coding. Here's to, as Matt says, happy coding.
