SheCodes was a great way to dip my toe into the world of coding. I enjoyed the structure of the course and feel I learned a lot in a short time. The class was just as I expected, I can't build the most amazing website, but I have a foundation and basic understanding of html, and Java.
I had so much fun playing around with coding, and I cannot wait to be able to join coding related conversations. It is easy to follow and also amazing that I was able to learn so much by watching very detailed videos.
It was a great journey throughout the last months with SheCodes! I learned a lot while at the same time had lots of fun, thanks to the whole SheCodes team for making this such an amazing learning experience.

These three weeks were amazing! Learning coding from scratch was a bit of a challenge. What I liked the most is that after each video there was homework. It helped to understand each topic better.

Amazing 3 week course! You learn a lot but everything is easy to follow and well explained.
React was challenging... I had to request two extensions to actually grasp everything. However, it was pretty rewarding to see everything I could do in the final projects. Thanks Matt for an amazing journey through coding!

I started SheCodes Basic with no coding skills whatsoever. In just three weeks I learned enough to build a functional (and nice looking) landing page, which I find absolutely amazing! The course is well paced and neither too difficult or too easy. Matt teaches you foundations of coding that you can easily expand after completing the course!
I'm going to do all of the workshops but this one was amazing to introduce me to the computer science world and the basics of a website. I can't wait to start the other ones and learn everything from front-end development.
I really enjoyed the beginners course, so wanted to challenge myself by expanding my knowledge of coding. This was a really fun project to work on, frustrating at times but it feels amazing to have created my very own fully-functioning application from scratch!
I completed the SheCodes Basics program with a working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I am able to create a basic, functioning, interactive webpage. I had tried a free coding camp previously but the content was not suited to my learning style, and they did not show us how to use actual coding tools such as VS Code and Colorzilla. I finished that course feeling more confused than when I started, online with SheCodes, where I actually learned useful things that I will be able to apply irl outside of the courses. The SheCodes course material is perfectly suited to my visual learning style, and being able to go back and reference the videos at any time, as well as work alongside them in real-time in VS Code, was extremely helpful. I feel confident in my knowledge and abilities. The Slack group is also an amazing resource and any question I asked was answered within an hour. There is a big sense of community and teamwork, and it is clear that everyone wants each other to succeed. I started the SheCodes Plus course this week and have already learned even more! What I really love about the experience is that I came into it not really knowing anything about computers, and thinking it would be hard to learn. However, Matt and the SheCodes team have created a program that is easy to learn, just the right amount of challenging, and most of all, fun! I will absolutely be recommending SheCodes to any woman in my life who may be interested in learning how to code. Its an amazing and extremely fun experience, and I cant wait to learn even more!

I just finished SheCodes basic and all i can say is it's simply amazing. The lessons were short and precise and our tutor matt made it very explanatory and easy to understand. I can't wait to learn more on SheCodes Plus.
I am very surprised at how much I learned during this workshop. Many of the topics in SheCodes Plus were completely new to me and while I may not be 100% comfortable with them, I am not completely lost either. Matt did an amazing job of explaining the process and walking through this with us step-by-step. I couldn't ask for a better teacher!

For my first introduction coding class, this has been an amazing experience and I was able to learn a lot. Matt teaches in such an effective way that makes it easier to learn and understand the concepts.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing Course! I doubted myself at first but instructor Matt is truly gifted in breaking everything down into morsels. I digested every lesson and enjoyed the challenges. Plus we get to listen to cool music while doing challenges now with She Radio and it creates a smooth flow of thoughts. I can't wait to learn more. I love coding.

One of its strongest points is that, even while doing the course, I felt the positive effects in my daily job as an Ecommerce and Marketing Manager. I really enjoyed doing the basic course. I think it's explained in a very simple way, which makes it easier for someone who doesn't know anything about coding to grasp the concepts. Moreover, I specially liked the fact that there are plenty of tasks to practice with, together with the final asingments. I've been able to test my abilities and see the results, which has been amazing!

I was initially nervous about taking on learning to code as it seemed complicated, but I wanted to give it a go. SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning, Matt is a great teacher and breaks it down so well - he also compares it to real life scenarios sometimes which makes it easier to understand. You have plenty of time to learn and submit homework/projects while maintaining work/life balance. I love what I have learnt so far and plan on upgrading to a bigger course.

As someone coming in here with absolutely 0 experience with coding or computers as I'm a professional nail technician of 22 yrs experience. I would recommend this course for anyone who is really interested in coding. React made a lot things easier than vanilla js but at the same time felt like it's very complex. Learnt a lot from this course and thanks matt for being amazing teacher.

I'm really glad I continued with SheCodes Plus after completing the SheCodes Basics Workshop! It was amazing that I got to see code from scratch turn into a functioning application. The videos are very clear and I appreciate the self pace that allows me to practice my front end development skills while juggling work.
