As a student of IT courses, I recently attended an IT workshop and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The workshop was focused on the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry, and it was hosted by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the field.
It was really empowering to create my own portfolio website. I dream of doing this for a living and creating my website helped me to start feeling like a developer. I highly recommend doing additional reading and exploring on YouTube in addition to this course. This course is amazing for giving the basics, however, it doesn't cover topics like mobile-first development.
This was an amazing, challenging and informative course that I throughly enjoyed. Matt made what seemed impossible and daunting, accessible and achievable. I am so happy to have learned the foundations of front end web development and these next steps getting a portfolio together as well as tips for the future were the cherry on top!
I had an amazing 2 weeks of fun creating this Dictionary App. I had fun learning everything React. I can not wait to produce more React Projects in the future!

I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I am now going to continue coding and maybe look into careers in the Tech industry. I'd highly recommend giving coding a shot, especially through a Shecodes workshop!

I initially enrolled for this course in 2020, but life got in the way, preventing me from completing it until now. Overall, the experience was amazing and served as a great introduction to coding. I now have a better understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and there are many additional resources available to help you with your coding journey. I believe that this course is definitely worthwhile.
I absolutely loved building a world clock and with my love for travel and all the places I'v been, it just hit home. I am looking forward to continue my coding journey as I just want to keep learning and trying new things and more knowledge to write cleaner code. As always, Matt is amazing with how he breaks things down and I just appreciate his honesty and great personality. As we're getting more advanced there is lots of trial and error and what a relief to hear Matt say that sometimes it can take an entire day to write two lines of code! While the challenges were difficult at times, they were also a lot of fun. I was able to get extensions on my project, which was a big help. This allowed me to work at my own pace. I was able to complete the workshop in my own time and felt truly amazing by the end.
This has been an amazing opportunity for me, I have learned so much in a very short period of time and I'm ready to learn even more. They were things I just thought I would not be able to do in this lifetime. For example build an actual weather app that shows the current date, temperature, time and the forecast for the next day. But with Shecodes I managed to learn how to do it in a matter of weeks and also build my own. This has truly taught me that anything is possible when it comes to coding.It just needs consistency, patience and an amazing team from Shecodes !

SheCodes Responsive was really challenging and fun. I have learnt so much and feel really equipped to build responsive websites going forward and I cannot wait to get an opportunity to use these skills. I would highly recommend the SheCodes course to friends, family and colleagues. As a photographer I've had my own website for years. But they were premade website templates and every change I wanted to make - like changing the font, color etc I had to search for on the internet. I thought I had some basic knowledge but NOW thanks to the SheCodes Basic Workshop I can definitely say that I do have basic knowledge! The lengths of each video is perfect. Matt does such an amazing job explaining everything. I could have easily finished the workshop in 3 weeks. But due to my job, my side hustle as a photographer and every day life, I had to request an extention twice. The Workshp showed me that my passion for coding always slumbered in me and has now awakened. I am planning on finishing more SheCodes Workshops so I can change path of careers and transition from a boring office management assistant job to a job as a Front End Developer.
