SheCodes has been amazing for building my confidence with coding. I had no experience prior to starting SheCodes, but the guided lessons & resources, I've been having alot of fun, and love the challenges.
It was pretty exciting to get into the tech world with SheCodes. π©βπ»The lessons are rich in content and Matt is an amazing teacher. This workshop has been amazing, I started off so nervous not knowing anything about coding or what it entailed. The lessons were easy to follow, informative and left me feeling confident about my abilities to complete the challenges and homework given at the end of each week. I work a 9-5 full time job so I would complete my lessons after I finish work. There wasn't one time where I did not look forward to logging in after work and getting stuck in to the new lessons. It has been such an enjoyable process and has left me wanting to learn more and more! I am very excited to see where my journey will take me now.

This week was amazing too! I really enjoyed learning about CSS background, CSS transform and CSS grids! The HTML class manipulation is the trickiest one amongst all the topics I've studied in the last few days, but once you understand all the steps you have to take, it becomes super fun! Am I going right? in the third part you will say yes, this is exactly what I was looking for. SheCodes is amazing!
SheCodes is a a great way to learn how to code from scratch and you make amazing work in just a short amount of time! Before SheCodes, I didn't know a single thing about coding and was a little intimidated by it, but now I can confidentially build and work on my own projects. It is also helping me with career prospects and really helping me develop my analytical and problem solving skills, as well as a chance to showcase my creativity. Each lesson is tailored amazingly, especially the way Matt explains and breaks concepts down. Would highly recommend this to anyone. It's honestly so worth it and is so fun! :)

I never knew this part of coding (integration of API and Hosting) existed and could be done with ease until I took this course, I had a drill - I learnt a lot from this course. I had the most challenging yet fun time learning the basics of Front End with SheCodes. I'm impressed I actually got to finish the project which couldn't be real without the amazing SheCodes team assisting during the whole learning journey. Some of the parts were especially hard to understand, but Matt made sure each lesson has a detailed and step-by-step explanation. I will have a bit of rest and definitely jump to the next advanced chapter!

I've learnt so much and, even though programming does not coincide exactly with the field in which I'm working now, I know that the skills I've gained will come in real handy. After finishing my weather app I felt so happy to look back and think about everything I've learned so far! Matt explains really well and the fact that you can go back and watch the videos everytime you want helped me a lot. I feel like I have a lot to learn, but this workshop is really helping me improve and it's helping me staying motivated to continue and keep learning. As a student of IT courses, I recently attended an IT workshop and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The workshop was focused on the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry, and it was hosted by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the field.
It was really empowering to create my own portfolio website. I dream of doing this for a living and creating my website helped me to start feeling like a developer. I highly recommend doing additional reading and exploring on YouTube in addition to this course. This course is amazing for giving the basics, however, it doesn't cover topics like mobile-first development.
This was an amazing, challenging and informative course that I throughly enjoyed. Matt made what seemed impossible and daunting, accessible and achievable. I am so happy to have learned the foundations of front end web development and these next steps getting a portfolio together as well as tips for the future were the cherry on top!

I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I am now going to continue coding and maybe look into careers in the Tech industry. I'd highly recommend giving coding a shot, especially through a Shecodes workshop!

I initially enrolled for this course in 2020, but life got in the way, preventing me from completing it until now. Overall, the experience was amazing and served as a great introduction to coding. I now have a better understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and there are many additional resources available to help you with your coding journey. I believe that this course is definitely worthwhile.
I absolutely loved building a world clock and with my love for travel and all the places I'v been, it just hit home. I am looking forward to continue my coding journey as I just want to keep learning and trying new things and more knowledge to write cleaner code. While the challenges were difficult at times, they were also a lot of fun. I was able to get extensions on my project, which was a big help. This allowed me to work at my own pace. I was able to complete the workshop in my own time and felt truly amazing by the end.

They were things I just thought I would not be able to do in this lifetime. For example build an actual weather app that shows the current date, temperature, time and the forecast for the next day. But with Shecodes I managed to learn how to do it in a matter of weeks and also build my own. This has truly taught me that anything is possible when it comes to coding.It just needs consistency, patience and an amazing team from Shecodes !
