I had an amazing experience with SheCodes! As someone completely new to coding, I was initially intimidated by the idea of learning how to code. However, the SheCodes program made the learning process enjoyable and accessible. The structured video lessons and hands-on projects provided me with the guidance and motivation I needed to succeed. I started off as a complete beginner not knowing a thing. I decided to take a chance one day and joined a free class, safe to say I was sold. I applied through the Delac Foundation and got accepted. I began my coding journey with SheCodes basics and was amazed by all of the things I was able to do with a few lines of code. Matt is an amazing teacher and explains everything so well. I enjoyed all the challenges as it made you think about every possible solution and although the homework made me want to cry when I finally got it right, I was super proud of myself. Overall, I would give this course a well-deserved 10 out of 10.
I absolutely loved building my AI recipe generator! I love how it turned out! Matt as always, is amazing at explaining things in ways that really make sense!

As amazing as the previous course. It offers a perfect balance between guidance and freedom. Matt explains everything step by step so you can't get lost, your homework is checked so you know you're on the right track, but you're also encouraged to incorporate your ideas into the coding and free to work at your own pace. The lessons motivated me to find out more about each topic and the project left me eager to learn further.

Taking part in the SheCodes basics lessons has been truly amazing. I enjoyed every bit of it, including the challenges. "I actually have no background in coding. I studied Tourism, but I've always been interested in learning about coding and IT. During the pandemic, it was my biggest struggle, and I had thoughts of changing my career. Then I found SheCodes! SheCodes has been my lifesaver. The classes are pretty amazing! There are a lot of exercises, and they're really beginner-friendly. The way Matt teaches with videos is really easy to understand. I definitely would love to continue with the next workshops.
SheCodes Plus Add-on was great! I loved learning about the libraries and seeing how powerful javascript can be. I'm really proud of the application I've built and I honestly didn't think I'd create such amazing things on my own. I think it's only up from here π
