These were amazing 3 weeks of learning, trial and error, total brain re-load and a whole new sphere discovered! The course closed a lot of questions about coding I used to have, now I get its logic and am really excited to dive deeper. Super useful practical experience and the best immersive method of learning I encountered so far.
I have truly enjoyed doing this workshop and hope to continue doing more with SheCodes. This platform is inspirational for the work they are doing for women in this industry. This has got to be the most fun I've had during my SheCodes experience so far, who thought I'd be at a point where I'm able to build an app using AI! As always, Matt provided amazingly clear instructions and helpful guidance surrounding how AI works and how to build a fully fledged AI generator. I am so overwhelmed by the result, which in my case was inspired by one of my favourite hobbies - reading π. This has certainly urged me to want to dig so much deeper into learning more and working with AI in the future!

The Basics Add-On Workshop has increased my confidence and competency with writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. What initially appeared as an overwhelming project to a novice, Matt managed to break it down into steps that were comprehensive and non-intimidating. I utilized the heck out of Athena (AI coding assistant), and it helped me solve problems quickly, which allowed me to continue creating my project without getting stuck. Customer support (via Slack) was amazing, as well. I had one problem I couldn't solve after much of my own troubleshooting, so I posted it on the Slack channel. It was answered in less than an hour, and it fixed my problem immediately! Superb customer support and tools! βββββ
SheCodes has been an amazing experience the last 4 weeks! I am genuinely so glad that I decided to embark on this challenge, it has enabled me to learn new skills and appreciate the layouts of websites I visit. The whole course overall is extremely well structures and thoroughly explained. This has been a great way to start my coding journey and I am very excited to not only continue with SheCodes but too see what the next projects are!!

After having had completed SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus, and all Add-ons, initially Python Basics felt relatively "simple". I was very happy with the repetition of certain terms used, and of course it did get a lot more complex week by week. By using rich, it makes it a bit more fun for a backend system :) Would totally recommend this course, Matt is doing an amazing job at teaching as always!

Definitely not an easy process but worth it. I had a lot of challenges building and pushing my work ,the are many times where I wished to just quit because my codes would not work after trying a numbers of times, getting help from slack but I got all the assistance I needed from the team . Happy to be part of this amazing work.
SheCodes basics have been nothing but amazing, for someone who has never coded before, the lessons were so easy to follow and the content was not overwhelming, I loved how the work built on the previous lessons and previous weeks thereafter. I also love how practical this is, having to apply what you have learned daily helps store the work in our long-term memory. I cannot say I am 100% proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript but I know more than I did before and it is enough, I will obviously apply what I have learned through building simple projects of my own until I can build complex ones.
I enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop! There were moments where I would stress, but once I would finally find the solution, it was such an amazing feeling. I would like to further my career in tech so I will be upgrading to the next workshop as well.

Today marks the end of eight weeks journey with Delac Foundation. Those eight weeks have been so amazing. I can code with advanced html/CSS, JavaScript data types and function, how to work with UI development and can use API. Beyond the technical skill acquired, I have learned to go extra mile, not to give up and when things are still not working take a breath (amazing advise from instructor Matt Delac) and that really works. This feeling of satisfaction when you finally built an application and see it take shape. I am learning more than i ever thought i could learn about front-end web development.This program is amazing.I feel like now i actually know what i am doing.The instructors and the tutorials have all been very helpful.
This has been an amazing journey, starting with basic HTML and CSS, then progressing to vanilla JavaScript, and finally to React. I definitely had my fair share of challenges and moments where I got stuck, but I am happy that I made it through. I ran to the final leg without giving up! I am looking forward to editing my CV from sales to Frontend Developer and starting to look for jobs while I create things on my own. The amazing thing is, even after finishing the program, I still have access to the workshops. It will be useful when I am referring to stuff I might have forgotten. I look forward to participating in SheCodes challenges to further harness my skills. All in all, choosing SheCodes was the best decision ever!
Amazing workshop, learn again a lot of new tools.
This was by far the most challenging project but I enjoyed it. Bootstrap comes in very handy. Hard work, dedication, discipline, and consistency are the keys to a successful project. If you feel frustrated, don't forget to go for a walk π. This was truly an amazing experience, I'm humbled.
She codes is helping me to improve my computers skills. I am not where I should be but I am trusting the process that one I will be a professional. I really would like to the thank the she codes team for their amazing work that they are doing to all women across the world. I am still lear about the CSS and java script as they are a bit challenging to me but I trust God that I will get there.
My name is Whitney Reed. I'm from Mississippi, but now living in New Orleans, Louisiana. Back, in 2019 and in 2021, I had got in trouble. I lost custody of my daughter to my aunt and uncle in Mississippi. In 2022, I was into a relationship not too long after that and I wasn't happy with my life and the choices i made in it. in 2023, I, then, decided to moved to New Orleans. My goal was to do DoorDash with my car and saving up money, but i ran my car down and sold it. After using up my money and resources, I called a friend up for advice on the next move. She suggests a shelter, so I look one up. The second listing on Google was the New Orleans Mission. It's a faith-based homeless shelter that has an amazing 1 year discipleship that gets people learned about God and help you get back to him. After that, they help people get back in society, and help people get back with their families. I'm a graduate of the program and now into the transition stage, where I'm working full-time and working on a car and housing and hopefully, reuniting with my daughter. It's wonderful. While I was there, I was thinking about get back to school, especially in computer and technology. I already went to four colleges, but i dropped out of all four (mainly because of the discussions). One day, when I finally did my research, I came into SheCodes and signed up in Novemeber 2023 on the Black Friday sale. So far, I love the setup. I like how Matt explains each lesson so well. I definitely like Athena AI in answering my questions so well and also the people over at Slack as well. I wanna thank the people responsible at SheCodes for giving women the chance to learn how to code. I appreciate it!

Around 6 years ago I graduated university with a MSc Computer Science. Since then I have been raising and working around my four children. I completed the Basics course back in January and it felt amazing to begin my coding journey and finish the first course so strongly. However, I stopped coding for a while and didn't practice the techniques I learned; but when I was ready, I came back and did the Basics course over again and went on to the Basics Add-on course and now, I have completed that as well. I love that the courses are there for me whenever I need them, forever.

It has been an amazing experience, I enjoyed every part of it but that does not mean it was not challenging. The most challenging part for me has to be the CSS grids part since it was new to me but I eventually got the hang of it. SheCodes is an amazing learning platform.

I was terrified about coding and thought this course would be too hard for me to learn and complete, but all the useful information, links, videos, challenge, solutions e.c.t. are amazing and really made me feel at ease and enjoy my first coding experience!
