I received my PhD in Biological Engineering, and half way through my program I realized I was more interested in software but within Biotech. The She Codes Python Basics course was an amazing introduction to coding. As a complete beginner, I found the content easy to follow and the course structure very intuitive. The basics workshop was amazing. Everything was explained in a way that made it very easy to understand and it was really fun. I thought i was too dumb for coding and doubted that I could do it but this workshop made me realize that coding is learnable.
The SheCodes Plus AI Add-on course helps improve your coding skills. It didn't just boost my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, but also got me hooked on AI. Learning how to use context and prompts with an AI API was surprisingly easy and super interesting. By the end, I could build a fully working AI recipe generator on my own, which felt amazing.

The past three weeks have been amazing and I learnt so much in such a short period of time. This was long but also amazing. I enjoyed restarting this project from the beginning and seeing how far I have progressed. I rarely needed my notes to follow along and using Athena helped when I was doing to many things at once. I'm thrilled to be apart of something so big for women. While also pursuing my career goal at the same time. I look forward to the next workshop.

This course it super easy to follow and a great introduction for anyone who aren't sure if coding is for them. The short videos and high focus on self-learning / learning by doing makes it fun and engaging. The course provides you with amazing support via various Slack channels if you are stuck on something you can't solve yourself.
