I've previously tried some frontend coding tutorials and I never managed to get out of tutorial hell and actually make something on my own. With the SheCodes workshops I felt that I actually understood how to code for the first time. I can now create something on my own using a code editor. I finally understand how HTML, CSS and JavaScript work together. SheCodes workshops are amazing and I feel confident that I'll be able to continue coding and make a habit out of learning new coding skills. I highly recommend it!

SheCodes Plus has been an amazing experience. I enjoyed each of the lesson videos. Learning advanced HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API Integration was challenging and insightful. Although I paused my learning for personal reasons, returning to the program felt seamless. I rewatched videos from previous modules and quickly got back on track. Learning on SheCodes is both fun and challenging, and I would gladly do it all over again.

Building my weather app was both a challenging and rewarding experience. At first, I felt overwhelmed by all the moving partsβintegrating the API, displaying accurate forecasts, and making sure the icons and temperatures worked perfectly. There were moments when I doubted myself, especially when things didnβt display as expected. But through persistence, problem-solving, and a lot of trial and error, I slowly started to piece everything together. Debugging each issue, step by step, helped me grow more confident in my skills. I learned the importance of patience and seeking out solutions, no matter how tricky the problem seemed. By the end of the process, I not only had a functional weather app, but I also felt a real sense of accomplishment. It reminded me that challenges are just opportunities for growth, and with determination, thereβs nothing I canβt conquer. I'd like to thank Matt and the team, y'all are amazing. Python Advanced with SheCodes helped demonstrate how python is used, learning about Data Extration from CSV files and how to display data into graphs for amazing Data visualization. I love when you can take data and are able to understand and interperolate the data into context anyone can learn from. I am very interested in taking Python further and studying into Data Sciences.

I learned about the opportunity to study web development through a special aid program offered by the Delac Foundation via the KuΓ±aTech Instagram account, a Paraguayan organization where my compatriots aim to provide development opportunities for women in the tech field. I eagerly shared this great opportunity with other women, friends, and university classmates whom I deeply care for. Through scholarships, I am fortunate enough to have knowledge of English, which encouraged me to apply. Despite the demanding nature of my university studies, I managed to complete this first course with valuable knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which also helped me in a university subject, Software Engineering II. SheCodes classes are excellent; the videos are not too long, and the instructor explains very well. He explains concepts that can be complex in a very simple way, making them easier to understand. Additionally, his English is very clear, making it easy to follow his explanations. The deadline extensions were also a big help, as some weeks are busier than others, which sometimes made it difficult for me to focus on the course. On the other hand, I absolutely loved how everything is personalized for women, and the gender focus provided for the course has been a great source of motivation for me. Everything looks pretty and aesthetically pleasing. Another aspect I really enjoyed was learning by creating parts of a project and finishing the course by building my own project. The community is wonderful, and the tools SheCodes provides to its students are incredibly useful. I am very, very, very grateful for this amazing opportunity, and I am excited for the upcoming workshops β€οΈπ
This short Ad-On course sharpened up the knowledge gained in SheCodes Plus. Some elements of JS are very hard but great to see how the project can be built without the utilization of API, and the introduction to Moments JS is great and powerful for future project development. As always, an amazing and well-structured course that elevates knowledge to the next level one step at a time.
