My experience with SheCodes has been the best of thee best, I have learned a lot in coding.
When I first started, I knew nothing about coding, but now I am happy to say that the workshop did an amazing job of introducing Basic coding and building my confidence.
Taking the SheCodes Plus workshop was definitely a step up from the basics! The lessons were more challenging, pushing me to think critically and apply what I had learned in new ways. Building projects with live data and advanced JavaScript tools was both exciting and rewarding. It wasnβt always easy, but Iβm proud to say I made it through and learned so much in the process!

Embarking on this project exercise has been an incredible learning journey. From setting up the project on GitHub to deploying it on Netlify, every step has taught me valuable skills in version control, collaboration, and web deployment. Through this exercise, Iβve gained hands-on experience with Git commands, resolving merge conflicts, and managing branches effectively. I learned how to push local changes to GitHub seamlessly and how Netlify simplifies the process of hosting live websites with its continuous deployment feature. Iβm grateful for the challenges I faced along the way, as they pushed me to deepen my knowledge and problem-solving skills.
This project was so fun to create! I appreciated learning about grids as I enjoy playing around with different layouts, and I love being able to use embeds in my project, making it more interactive to the user. I would love to continue working on this project and develop more projects like this in the future!

I wasn't sure about starting my adventure with She Codes, partly because I wasn't used to speaking English and I wasn't sure if the English lessons would be understandable for me. If you want to learn coding, do this course! It is well-rounded, perfectly articulated and learning-focused. The challenges are a great way to put the theory into action and the facilitators do an amazing job at helping bridge the gaps in the learning curve. 5 stars, I would recommend anyone who wishes to have background knowledge of coding and tech to attempt this course.

The lessons are real fun and easy to follow along with! Finding time to code during the weekdays has been difficult. The days I coded on the weekend SheCode support team was still available to help when I needed it.
The videos are short and straight to the point. I got a lot of value from this course and it showed me real world application of certain concepts in JavaScript. I was also really happy that I got introduced to APIs for the first time. I would definitely recommend this course to others.

Whew, this was a tough one! While I don't feel like I could create a React application completely from scratch at this point, I do understand the general structure, and I see the usefulness of learning React. I was able to follow along and create a really nice application in the end.
