This year I wanted a way to capture and share memories from an upcoming camp without relying on others for photos. That idea sparked something bigger. I thought, why not create an app where everyone can collect and share their pictures in a fun, interactive way? But the problem was, I didnβt know how to code. I could design on Canva, but building an app felt impossible, especially since I couldnβt afford to hire someone. So I started looking into web design programs and discovered SheCodes, and signed up. Now, Iβm close to finishing my app using everything Iβve learned. I love that SheCodes lets me work at my own pace but still keeps me accountable with project deadlines. Even when I wasnβt ready, I could ask for extensions instead of giving up.Iβm so glad I chose this platform itβs made learning to code both accessible and enjoyable.
The Basics Add-on workshop was really engaging and practical. The sessions were clear, hands-on, and built my confidence step by step. I especially appreciated the supportive atmosphere and how easy it was to apply what I learned right away. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their skills.

This course covers some add-ons about React and Netlify.
In this course I learned so much about React. I learnt to create React components, to use the API responses and looping through them. It wasn't the easiest class but It is really worth.

SheCodes Plus was awesome! I learned a lot of new things in HTML, CSS and JS, which allowed me to create my own weather app (even though it's simple, I'm really proud of making it myselfπ). It was fascinating to learn how APIs work, and I really appreciate how Matt Delac explains everything so clearly and in detail, it made even the tricky parts much easier to understand. I just graduated from the SheCodes React bootcamp, and Iβm thrilled. The hands-on projects, clear explanations of hooks and state, and fast feedback on code finally made React βclickβ for me. I shipped a polished app (deployed and everything), built confidence with APIs, and learned best practices I can reuse at work. The community was kind, the pace was focused, and the curriculum was practical from day one. Iβm leaving with a portfolio piece and the momentum to keep building.

I enjoyed the workshop and learned useful basics of coding.
There were moments throughout this program when I seriously considered giving up and walking away. The challenges felt overwhelming at times, and I doubted my ability to succeed. However, SheCodes provided the support and encouragement I needed to keep going. Their structured lessons, helpful community, and positive atmosphere ultimately helped me persevere through the difficult patches and continue on my learning journey.

I recently completed the Python AI workshop and found it incredibly insightful. The hands-on focus on APIs and AI showed me how coding skills act as a scaffold to understand, debug, and get more from these tools. In a world full of βvibe codingβ and AI-assisted shortcuts, itβs easy to question the value of learning to code but this workshop reinforced why coding matters and why humans are essential for guiding AI effectively. I left with a deeper understanding and confidence to harness these technologies moving forward.
I have found it very easy to follow the videos and even easier to learn from the teachings. he is very precise in his teachings. I would recommend.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive workshops, as they really put all of the pieces together. Bootstrap is particularly helpful. I am now able to go back to previous projects with a view to making them fully responsive and SEO friendly.

I went from zero knowledge to feeling like a mini tech girlie, and as someone exploring the tech world for the first time, this course was hands-down one of the best ways to do so. I absolutely loved it. I just finished my basic course and it was so fun to learn. I had some doubts that coding would be too difficult to understand but with SheCodes it is so much more simpler than I thought. I honestly was a bit anxious to start the Python workshop, but to be honest, I LOVE IT
I have learned a lot, and I feel very happy about the progress I have made.
I just wrapped up my world clock project and Iβm genuinely thrilled with the result. It wasnβt easy. There were moments I felt stuck, but the guided, step-by-step approach made all the difference. Instead of copying code blindly, I learned why each code snippet existed and how it fit together. Concepts like selecting the right time zone and updating the current time on a set interval finally clicked. Honestly, doing all of this on my own wouldβve been very difficult without the step-by-step guidance of the SheCodes instructor Matt Delac. But along the way I picked up a ton: cleaner structure and clearer logic. Now I feel confident enough to rebuild the whole World Clock from scratch. Iβm proud of how far Iβve come and excited to keep going.
I struggled with some stuff but as recommended, I searched for resolutions and re-watched some workshops to help find where I went wrong. A lot of resources on this site but also shows you how to figure it out for yourself, to become independent.
Basic Plus allowed me to refresh the knowledge I learnt from the basics and just grew my confidence. I finished my project quickly because I did not doubt what I was doing. Google is your friend when it comes to challenging yourself.
