I have really enjoyed the last 3 weeks, and have learnt so much. I joined SheCodes as a bit of a spur of the moment thing, knowing nothing about coding but I am definitely going to take this further.

SheCodes has been great. I had no prior coding experience and was not sure where to begin. Luckily, I found SheCodes and in just a few weeks I've learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I started the introduction class to upskill myself and learn something new. Coding was such a mystery to me - until now! I thoroughly enjoyed learning about HTML, CSS and Javascript and feel motivated and able to move on to the next coding workshop.
After doing the SheCodes workshop, I knew I had to join SheCodes plus. Matt's classes and videos are very clear and easy to understand. From the most basic concepts to a more complex way of writing and understanding code, Matt's way of teaching students is easy to keep up with and will leave you with solid HTML, CSS as well as javascript knowledge and the healthy habit of wanting to learn more and more. Also thank you to slack's help on some exercises, they were really helpful and always patient ๐ Next up is SheCodes React !๐ช

I learned so much from this workshop! One week in, I was asked to work on a website for work that was being built in WordPress. The skills I learned from SheCodes were immediately applicable and useful. I hope to take one of the longer workshops in the future.
This is a well-planned workshop with videos, challenges and solutions crafted for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I love how each lesson is followed by a challenge, which allows us to apply what we learn in the video class. You will be provided with the recommended solution after you have submitted yours - this really makes myself try to solve the challenge and refine my solution afterwards! Thanks, Matt and team!

Loved it! very fun entrance into coding.
Having come from virtually no experience of coding, this was a challenging course but well worth it. Matt explains everything clearly, while also encouraging students to experiment and discover their own solutions. The challenges took me slightly longer than the advertised five hours a week, but it was well worth the time for the sense of achievement.

The way the lessons were set up was great, and with the community support it definitely made things a lot easier. Wish they would show a bit more of tips and tricks, but a great starter course, would definitely recommend it.
SheCodes is a very well done training:insightful, practical, entertaining and flexible to meet your needs: either to just get a first flavour of coding/programming or switch career completely. I enjoyed every bit of the program (lessons , exercises, homework...) and had loads of fun completing it. I must admit that I was, at the beginning, very sceptical to the e-learning format , but the way the course is structured : simple and yet very engaging (insightful videos, fun exercises, support given ...) made the whole experience greatly enjoyable. After many free web dev tutorials on the internet I was finally able to grasp with JavaScript concepts and build my own project from scratch! Definitely recommend this workshop!
SheCodes is extremely easy to use. The challenges after each lesson are great practice and provide excellent support when you go to complete your homework. The homework projects provide great references for the final project and Java Script is so much fun to learn!
This workshop helped me further my skills in a field I've never explored. It feels so satisfying to be able to create something and see it grow and improve before your very eyes!

In a very short time, I learned how to set up a nice-looking webpage including some user interaction. Furthermore, I learned a lot about writing good code which is easily readable for others (and also myself) plus some methods for troubleshooting!
I can't believe I learned so much in such a short period of time! I never thought I can do coding, but now I am excited to learn more and develop my skills to expand my career opportunities .

A good investment to learn all the basics around HTML, CSS and JavaScript. At first, I thought it would be difficult to manage my time with a full time job, but nope... It was more like a game and it kept me really motivated! I will definitely go for the plus workshop in the future ๐๐ป
Without a doubt, I have learned so much about coding from just this one workshop. The React workshop does a phenomenal job of applying what you already learned from the Plus course and adds what platforms are already using. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

I really enjoyed this course! It was organised in a very concise manner. I feel that I was taught all the relevant introductory aspects to coding to get a decent 3 week taster as to how it all works! It was a nice course. Very challenging for beginners though! I did the first two workshops which were way easier than this one and I loved it! I've gotten a general idea of what coding and building Webs/Apps is a about. :)

My name is Linda, Linn for short. I have worked in hotel and restaurants for my whole life and I've been very successful in that area. However, I got a daughter who just turned one, and it was impossible for me to continue working those hours. Therefore I looked up other opportunities and found that coding seems fun and interesting. I have no prior experience from it, but so far it is so much fun and I can really see myself working with this in the future.

Man... what a wonderful journey! Learning with Matt and his team was the best choice and investment of my time and efforts in 2020. I am very grateful for all that I have learned and truly recommend SheCodes to any woman in search of a change, new skills or an entrance in the world of web development. I started with the 3 weeks SheCodes workshop as a complete beginner in any area related to IT and tech. Matt's explanations and the lesson structure are very valuable and easy to understand and most importantly, guided step by step. There is also a wonderful group of people on the Slack platform where students are always welcome to share their challenges and get swift help form the team. After the 3 weeks workshop I decided to invest in the next step and take on the front end development course. I learned a lot. I had challenges, late nights and lots of satisfaction. Now I see apps and web pages with different eyes and I notice a growing wish in myself to further pursue this path. SheCodes Plus bootcamp is a great course to learn about Front End Web Development. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed applying the learnings by building a weather app.
The SheCodes+ workshop has been an incredible experience. The project got very complicated at times, but with the resources provided and the courses by Matt Delac no task was impossible. I enjoyed solving the challenges and look forward to implementing all these skills in upcoming projects.

I had already tried some front-end programming courses on other platforms and none of them managed to keep me as motivated as SheCodes. I started the course without understanding almost anything about HTML, CSS and JavaScript and now I already have good notions of front-end to apply in my day-to-day as a UX Designer and work better with the developers.
SheCodes is a great bootcamp! The course is easy to navigate and easy to understand all the material.It's helped me to transition into a new position/role within my company. I have had a great experience with the beginner course and am excited to move on to the Plus with React course. I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone interested in coding either for personal or professional interest.
The SheCodes Workshop is a great introductory course to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Access to the channels in the Slack App for additional help with the challenges was extremely beneficial. This workshop was so amazingly designed to the point were even though I came across difficulties I wouldn't demotivate. It not only gave me an idea of how fun it is to code, but it forced me to overcome adversities by my self (although I could always ask for help). I am super happy with the decision I made by signing up, I will definitely come back to do a more in depth program. Thank you Matt, and all the programmers that made this experience possible.

I really found this course beneficial. I was a total beginner before the course having no clue about where to start and this helped me to guide me through the different processes of coding in a very clear and easy way. I like how you can complete many challenges to do in your own time, plus with the use of the range of tutorials! The challenges really gave me lots of confidence that would help for my future career.
