I really enjoyed the course! It was mostly really easy to follow and a wonderful place for people to start if they are even remotely interested in coding.

This class was the perfect starting point to begin my coding journey. It was easy to understand and follow. The video format was great in taking what I learned and transferring it to the challenges. I can't wait to keep learning more and turn it into a new career. Thank you for a great class!

I really enjoyed the process of working on my SheCodes Plus Project. I was able to use all that I learned in my two workshops to make something impressive! This was a great way to commit all that I learned to my memory in a fun and effective way.

I never taught I could even learn coding! But Shescodes and Matt´s detailed lessons are so good that it becomes any easy task. I loved that the videos are all very shorts, and give you the opportunity to practice what you just learned right away. It has been a great workshop and I´m definitely in for the Shecodes Plus. Trust me, coding is FUN!

The SheCode Introduction to Coding Workshop was a great course to understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. It helped me to understand how websites work and taught me how to make my own researches to complete what the course could not cover in the 3 weeks. 😎

It was really refreshing to learn something new and have so much fun doing it. Even when slightly stuck, Matt's explanations were great. Would definitely recommend!!

I was excited to find students could develop a basic website by the end of week 1! By the end of the workshop, I feel confident with my basic coding skills. I was able to create a well-designed, nice looking, interactive website in a few hours. SheCodes gives a lot of insight into what coding really is...the insider's view. I'm so happy with my experience so far.

I have been wanting to learn to code for a couple of years. After struggling to find time for other services, I found success with SheCodes. It's structured to give me something to work on each week.

I applied for this workshop because I was curious to understand how websites are made and how they work and also because I wanted to learn more about programming with JavaScript.

Great course

This workshop gave me the opportunity to learn about coding at my own pace and the lessons were easy to follow and understand. I would recommend it to anyone who is curious about what coding entails.

The SheCodes workshop boosted my confidence, I feel so happy when I am coding and listening to music even more so when my other half is also coding and gets happy when they see me achieving what I would like to achieve, so far my favourite thing is CSS

I've had so many "false starts" learning how to code from various different sources and eventually came to the conclusion I just couldn't do it. SheCodes changed that! The clear, bite-size instruction videos, example code snippets, challenges and homework tasks are such a great way to see progress and make it all feel manageable and achievable. Now I feel I have a solid foundation to build upon and I'm excited to see where I go from here. Thank you SheCodes!

The three-week workshop has been fantastic! Every step has been clear and well explained by Matt, with guidance to the appropriate resources if things get a bit tricky. The SheCodes community we have access to is fantastic and always on hand to help. I'm looking forward to continuing on with SheCodes and developing my skills further.

I've definitely enjoyed learning with SheCodes. The workshops have been really easy to follow format wise and the end of week homeworks really help to put into action what it is we've learnt. The use of slack as a comms channel has been a blessing and great to meet like-minded fellow wannabe coders. Thanks!

I cannot stop raving about this course! I was so nervous that my terrible maths would stand in the way of my completing it, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Matt explains everything really thoroughly and at a pace that's really easy to keep up with. The only thing I felt perhaps needed a bit more explanation was JavaScript as, at times, the challenges were a bit more advanced than had been explained in the lessons, which got me in a bit of a flap. On the whole though, the best learning experience (online or in-person) I've ever had! Merci beaucoup, Matt! 😉

This course was incredibly insightful and enjoyable! Each lesson was well explained and very easy to follow! Being able to always have assistance was very reassuring throughout the duration of the course. I enjoyed being a part of the SheCodes community! I'm so happy to say I have learned a brand new skill! The past 3 weeks have been so much fun! I never knew coding could be so easy to learn. This course has REALLY subverted my expectation of what coding would be like. I am generally very artsy and love to be creative and this provided me with a wonderful creative outlet, as well as such useful tools for marketing and building websites. React is the final course from SheCodes and I'm happy I went all the way! React is quite challenging to start with, but the course breaks it up in understandable chunks and the Slack community (thank you Joao!) is a big help if you get stuck. Too bad this is the end at SheCodes, but I might find other ways to continue!

I've always wanted to try my hand at coding but could never wrap my head around even knowing where to start. Within 3 weeks, SheCodes has helped me get to a point where I can not only put together an entire page written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but where I can also confidently navigate my way searching for and learning new tricks and techniques. I'd been wanting to do this workshop in a while and I'm so glad I finally completed it. The lesson tutorials are easy to follow and the challenges and homeworks are fun to make. If you've been thinking about doing this workshop, think no more. Go for it! You won't regret it.

In only 3 weeks I was able to do something I always thought to be near to impossible, code my own (basic) website including the use of HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was a lot of fun to learn the basic principles of coding. Yes, you need to invest some time, but it was really worth it and also a lot of fun!

Matt is absolutely a great teacher. I don't think anyone could explain better how coding works! And as he always says: this is not rocket science! It is just a pity that I did not discover this course earlier...but better late than never :)

While I was working full time SheCodes gave me an opportunity to explore the world of coding with easy tutorials that taught the basic elements.

I was looking to start my journey onto programming and when SheCodes popped up on my Instagram I knew what I had to do and I couldn't be happier and couldn't recommend it more! The lessons are super short and easy to follow, you practice every single thing you learn and you get to really get into the basics of coding. I couldn't be happier to have started my coding journey with SheCodes.

I had a fun challenge learning React. I really learned a lot. I'm sad the course is over for me as there is so much more to learn still, but this course has been an amazing kickstart for my coding journey.

I tried many different online coding courses but none of them were as engaging as SheCodes. The fact that we have a community on Slack is an added bonus because you get to see fellow SheCoders like you learn and figure out the tasks given. I especially like the fact that we are given a project at the end of the workshop for you to test your skills from the lessons. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed learning the beginner stages of coding. Very informative and the hands on approach is great, as it allows you to understand your mistakes and do it yourself.

I didn't expect to learn so much from this course! Having zero background into coding, I was pleasantly surprised how much I picked up. Matt was easy to understand and turned the lessons into easy to grasp concepts that I was able to remember. The homework was both challenging and enjoyable, and a good mix of tutorials vs. self learning ( I googled so much items!) Thanks for a great introduction into coding, I feel I can understand computers better now :)

If I could go back in time and tell myself not to waste any second and start learning to code... then I wouldn't know about SheCodes and I wouldn't enjoy all of my achievements as much as I did. This has been a pretty challenging but also fantastic experience. I also understand that it's just the beginning of my coding journey and wish it to be wonderful and full of excitement to myself and every SheCodes alumni!

As I started from zero, it was three weeks really interesting. I found the courses really well build as all the homework and exercices were properly design to ensure us to apply immediately what we have just learn !

I really enjoyed this react workshop Matt was so explain in the videos and also I received a lot of help from Joao. I've never made a project like I made here, I also learned pretty much.

As an SEO Specialist, I'm pretty familiar with HTML elements since I'm optimizing those every day. But to learn how to build a landing page myself - that's huge! Now I know that the best developers are the ones who also understand SEO and vice versa! 😉

I would certainly recommend the course to other women, I started knowing little to nothing about coding and at the end of the course I feel really confident in the skills that I've acquired. Even though English isn't my first language I had no difficulties throughout the course understanding the lessons.

This workshop was a nice surprise, I have learned a lot. For beginners like me, it is a perfect way to start.

I was planning to do this workshop for a year and I am more than glad to have the chance to be part of this. I went to a Technological School when I was a teenager and graduated in IT but at that time, because a lot of reasons, I just hated it. But now I see it in a completely different way and I love it! I enjoyed the advice as well as the step by step guides to the coding process. The possibilities are endless now.

The lessons are easy to follow and focus on small sections so you aren't overwhelmed. The weekly homeworks and mini challenges are great to cement what you've learnt in your mind. Would definitely recommend!
