Learning to code new elements in CSS and JavaScript was a real joy, thanks to the comprehensive teaching style.

Quite easy to understand

I loved the basics workshop! I highly recommend for anyone who wants an introduction to HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. The course is well-organized, packed with information, and set up so that you can learn at your own speed, on your own schedule.

As with all the SheCodes courses I've done so far, this was another brilliant one! Matt's easy to follow breakdowns within each video helped me to gain a fantastic understanding of how to build a response website. It was amazing that I was able to build a portfolio project to bring together all my work ready for future opportunities.

It was interesting to learn more about animations and bringing a webpage to life. The code is getting longer but the webpages are more beautiful.

SheCodes was an incredible learning experience! Thanks to this program, I discovered new opportunities, learned so much, and built some really cool projects. During these months, there were moments when I got stuck and faced challenging applications, but the course materials and SheCodes support helped me complete every project successfully. I started SheCodes about a month ago with zero coding experience. The videos and challenges make it really easy to learn. I especially enjoyed the final project for the Basics Workshop because it allowed me to apply all of the concepts I learned.

Easy to follow and fun

I had a great time strengthening my knowledge of HTML and CSS - and I'm even more pleased to now know the basics of JavaScript! This is the perfect base knowledge for building my coding skills.

This module definitely expanded my skill set, introducing Python coding in a understandable way.

SheCodes is getting more difficult, but Matt's explanations are clear.

Great fun learning to code and using AI. Very useful skill to have!

Amazing week, lots of new skills

The SheCodes Basics Add-on Workshop really helped me grow. I learned so much more about coding and gained confidence I didn’t have before. My journey is wonderful and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come and excited to keep learning!

During the SheCodes workshop, I learned step by step how to design and build a weather app from scratch. This hands-on approach helped me significantly improve my CSS, HTML, and JavaScript skills. I appreciated the clear structure and the supportive learning environment, which made the process both effective and enjoyable. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to strengthen their web development abilities and gain practical experience through real projects.

This was a great intro to coding. Matt's lessons were easy to follow, and the challenges built you up adequately for completing the weekly homework assignment. The videos were really easy to follow, the mini challenges after each lesson helped with understanding the concept. The projects were great too, the hands-on practice made me a little more confident with coding.

Great add-on course for responsive website building.

The SheCode frontend development class was such an empowering experience. I learned practical skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and even built my very first landing page. Taking the SheCodes.io basic course was such an inspiring experience! I discovered a real passion for coding while learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I started off on crypto zombies leading me into coding i found this through internet and been on fire ever since, I now can make websites and know what coding what crypto currency is and a little bit of computer science

this was very challenging for me, as i was under pressure to submit (i didn't realize if i finished other sessions early i have to wait till Monday to start another one). I got it right 6 hours later 🤣 and i also enjoyed playing around with colors and grids.

Learning React has been a monumental feat for me. At first, I found it incredibly challenging — I had to slow down, revisit lessons, and even rebuild the weather app from scratch just to understand what was happening behind the scenes. Debugging felt overwhelming at times, especially when I didn’t understand the error messages popping up on the screen. Along the way, I learned not only how to write React code but also how to think like a developer — how to troubleshoot, stay patient, and celebrate small wins. The process taught me persistence and problem-solving. In the end, I accomplished something I honestly didn’t think I could do: I built a fully functioning app.

The React Add-on workshop is a great addition to SheCodes React, as it allowed me to expand on the skills that I'd already gained while also learning new techniques. Building the dictionary for the final project was an overall fun yet challenging experience.

difficult tasks

There was a lot of work in building a dictionary compared to what I thought at first. So many components and handling different types of data and APIs. At the end, it is so satisfying to see what I have built with the new knowledge.

Good intro to Python!

Great program to learn coding. With little to no knowledge of coding this program was a great start to getting involved and diving into the world of coding. I would recommend this program to anyone who has any interest in coding. Very helpful community to be apart of.

I thoroughly enjoyed the responsive add-on section and the engaging workshop challenges. It’s incredible how much you can create in such a short time!

Out of all the shecodes workshops this was the most fun!

I enjoyed this project more than the weather project and understood it more

The SheCodes Plus Add-on was an excellent way to build on what I learned in SheCodes Plus. The World Clock project helped me apply JavaScript concepts to a real-world scenario and better understand how to work with time zones and live data. It was a fun and rewarding challenge that strengthened my coding confidence a lot.
