I learned a lot in a few hours. The course is very interesting, the only thing I would improve is the possibility to search for precise content within the material already viewed.

As a complete beginner, this course worked for me because everything is broken down into a step-by-step process. Matt's teaching style is personable and encouraging while being thorough and clear. Thank you Matt and the team - I look forward to taking another course soon!

Loved the pace, the lessons were really digestible and the slack community really helped when faced with an issue.

I really like the workshop. I have been thinking about learning the basics of coding for a few months but never found an interesting and realistic course. I will probably take a break for a few weeks but will be returning for SheCodes Plus! I love to learn new things and this was just fun and exited. Super proud and totally recommended if you were looking to learn how to code but have no idea how or where to start!!

Overall, I really enjoyed the SheCodes Express class. It was great to be able to complete the lessons on my own time, and when I was having trouble I always found answers in Slack. I am happy to have learned some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and am going to continue with SheCodes Plus.

I would highly recommend this introductory course and SheCodes overall 💯! I have thoroughly enjoyed the structure of this course with its bite size videos and their associated challenges. The structure allows for the course workload to be achievable around life and work and prevents information overload. SheCodes is well setup to support you as a learner and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. My positive experience with SheCodes has encouraged me to continue my learnings with them and sign-up to SheCodes Plus! 👩🏽‍💻

I never thought I'd like coding as much I do now! I first took the free coding class and I was really curious about this "world". Joining SheCodes was one of the best decisions I've made recently and I'm on my way to SheCodes+. I have to thanks Matt, who is an amazing teacher, and all the Slack community, who are all so helpful.

I learned so much in 3 weeks with SheCodes Workshop. Each lesson comes with a small challenge which ensures you're understanding the lesson. The small projects were a lot of fun and I can't wait for SheCodes Plus.

The SheCodes Workshop is really intiuitive. It is a great starting point into the world of coding. Don't be afraid if you haven't had any contact with coding before - all the videos are really well made.

The training sessions are entertaining and are followed by small exercises, which ensures variety and learning success. The project at the end shows how much we could learn in a short time. Was fun :)

I would recommend SheCodes for women interested in coding.

I chose to take this coding course because it was something I knew absolutely NOTHING about. The best thing about it were the deadlines. I do not have enough self-motivation to learn something so intimating without a pre-set goal. The practices and homework gave the (gentle) push I needed to really tackle this new skill.

Have loved every moment of this Workshop. A fab introduction to the world of coding! So excited to start my next course :)

Great workshop!

I like how the course may be sped up or slowed down while you're still accountable to practice and submit work. The Slack help was 5-stars. I'm looking forward to building on what I learned in Plus front-end.

This workshop is amazing and coding with SheCodes was an awesome experience! The learning experience was off the chart, in so little time I got to learn a lot. It was extremely educational, practical and inspiring, with an amazing teacher (Matt) and all the mentors in Slack that helped us through every task. I had always been interested in trying out coding but it always seemed too difficult and complex. I can definitely say that enrolling at SheCodes is the best decision I've made. I am very happy that I finished SheCodes Plus with confidence and looking forward to continuing with SheCodes React!

SheCodes is an amazing coding workshop! I learned so much from Matt and it has certainly piqued my interest into the coding world. I never coded before so was nervous that this would go over my head but it was really easy to understand and I was able to learn a lot really quickly.

A well constructed course that made learning simple. I have struggled to pick this up in the past, but it was so much easier this time around. I feel like I am now equipped with the basic understanding to take this further.

I'm actually a musician/composer but thoroughly enjoyed learning something new. The videos are short and concise, enough for a complete beginner to understand a few basic concepts, I appreciate and enjoyed the fact that it's very practical, especially the final project. Thank you!

As expected, it was a lot of trial and error to get the project to look the way I wanted. I know it's not perfect (as I'm a novice), but I had a lot of fun with the project! I also like that Matt had the students seek answers on our own, just like we'll have to do in the real world. 😁

After watching the free coding sessions with Matt, I decided to take a chance and invest in myself. I have been wanting to learn coding for years. As a young mother of two boys, I understand the need to stay challenged and relevant in the work-force. Coding is the future and will continue to be in high demand. I want to do everything I can to stand out and continue to advance in my career path. Supporting my family is must! SheCodes is a program that I've been able to easily follow and grasp at my own pace. Not the mention the community and staff are super supportive. I feel like I'm finally able to move forward with my coding goals because of SheCodes. An interesting, rather difficult course for me. I would like to receive a more detailed assessment of homework, with the wishes of what is better to change so that the code is more understandable.

I've had an absolute blast on this course. I really engaged with the style of learning as it was interactive and well paced. There are so many extra tools that SheCodes offers when learning, which allowed me to tailor my learning to suit me. Whenever I had a problem, the response on slack was so quick and allowed me to see where I had gone wrong or what I needed to do in order to improve my code.

SheCodes Plus was so much fun. Programming in JavaScript was one of the things I enjoyed the most. I could spend hours doing the lessons without even noticing time passing by.

I had a lot of fun learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with SheCodes! All the little tasks and weekly projects keep you focused and motivated so you can learn a lot in a few weeks.

I didn't expect much from a three week workshop, but it revealed a whole new world to me. The course gives you a great first look into the field of coding and its endless possibilities. I would highly recommend this course to everyone who is interested in design/web-related topics or just wants to broaden their horizon. It's very helpful to have weekly deadlines and a community that helps you if you have any questions about the lessons.

I've always been wanting to learn how to code and through SheCodes I believe I found the best way how to realize that goal. The material is straight forward, the challenges help understand how to use every new piece of information, while the end result of each homework is a motivation itself to want to learn even more! 😊

I have really enjoyed my first SheCodes workshop. I have come in as a complete beginner so some aspects I have found challenging but not overwhelming. I am really excited to start my next SheCodes course and spend more time practicing the skills I have learnt so far.

The React program was very difficult and rewarding. I would say that I definitely feel like there is more to learn, and I can see the potential that this language provides on the heels of JS Vanilla. Throughout my experience with SheCodes, I am more and more convinced that programming is a life skill.

Matt explained everything really well. I very much liked the structure of starting with a short video, and then followed by a short assignment. This makes it easy to keep up and do all the lessons, even when you're busy with other things. I am looking forward to the second workshop with Matt!

In 2020, I participated in a tech bootcamp and for some reason, it just wouldn't stick. I almost concluded tech was too complicated and beyond my comprehension until I came across SheCodes. Matt explained every single code in layman's terms and the slack group was a wonderful space to ask for and get help when stuck with the codes. I'm glad I didn't throw in the towel and look forward to honing my coding skills in subsequent classes.

Already recommended the Intro course! I´ve never been a tech savy person, but have always wanted to understand how the programing world works, this course definetely opened my eyes into a new career possibility in an ever changing world. I have a scientific background so coding for me was really a new (and exciting) experience! I have always had a keen eye for details and thought how fun and cool would be to create projects related to typography, colours and patterns. Since last year I decided to look for courses within tech that could utilize these skills. As soon as I found SheCodes I sign up for the webinar, and after that, I decided to go forward. I couldn't be happier with what I have learnt so far. Matt and all the team is really helpful and I definitely recommend it. I am very inclined to jump to the advanced course 🙃

This course is phenomenal! Concise lessons, clear explanations, and practical exercises. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get started and has zero experience in programming like myself. After completing it, I feel so empowered and ready for more. The sky's the limit gals ;)

SheCodes Workshop is phenomenal! I started the SheCodes adventure as a total beginner without feeling it at any point, because the way Matt explains every part and every step is perfect. The challenges are very interesting, but not everything is served, so we also have to learn to use Google for research and develop thinking in the right direction. Can't wait to pursue with SheCodes Plus. 🤩

Every single workshop has been educational and informative. They have incredible patience for all students and make sure to help you build your website every step of the way.

I started my first SheCodes workshop back in August 2020 with no prior experience in coding. It's hard to imagine that I am now finishing my SheCodes React!!!🙌 I would recommend it to everyone. The workshop allows you to go at your own pace and to directly apply your newfound coding knowledge in interactive challenges/homeworks. Because of how amazing the workshop is built I manage to do it while working also as a nurse 👩🏻‍⚕️

SheCodes is such a great course that breaks things down into simple step by step pieces. The lessons are nice and short but informative. The little challenges to complete after each lesson help to practice and retain the skills that are learnt. I am so excited to keep learning more!

Great workshop - small, manageable steps but a fast pace. Each step was a slight advancement on the one before allowing time for it to sink in and improve your knowledge quickly. Matt talks through everything really well and help on Slack is super quick.
