So i loved the videos but I wish that it were a bit more self-paced. I feel like I really struggled to learn the if/else statements and wanted more time to focus on learning them.
This was a great course to learn the basics and get me started on web development!

SheCodes gave me more understanding how coding works! Matt's lesson plans are easy to follow and include hands on learning. I have a full-time job and never thought I would be able to do any coding courses with my schedule. This 3 week course was super informative while also fitting nicely into my busy schedule. I really liked that the challenges and homework were not carbon copies of what we'd done in the lessons so we had to do a bit of searching and experimenting to figure out how to make things work.

As a marketer, it's great to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript so I can have better control over my content (and improve on the templates given to me). Coding can seem overwhelming since there are so many languages and things to learn but this 3-week workshop was exactly what I needed and the format is really easy to follow.
I have learned a lot during those 3 weeks. Before the workshop I had never worked with html, css or java script and now I have a basic understanding of how the three coding languages work and play together.
What an experience! If you told me a few months ago I would have built an app from scratch, from my own design AND hosted it online I would have told you were crazy. It was tough but boy am I glad I stuck with it. Invaluable knowledge for sure.
Finally!! It was a long and a short journey at once. I was frustrated at some points, but that's how it should be when you learn something completely new, right? It was so fun, I learned a lot and I always got quick help when needed. Thank you SheCodes! Without you, I would never make it happen.

After finishing SheCodes Basics I knew for sure that I wanna continue learning how to code. I can't even believe where I got in just two months. From building simple landing page to actual working app with real data. I am so excited to move on to React and get even more out of the course. πͺπ»
This 8-week workshop was very challenging but rewarding at the same time. If you work a full-time job and are considering doing this workshop, I advise you to strictly manage your time. It was quite tough to learn something new on weekly basis and retain that information while still working full-time.
Loved the process of learning something new. It was challenging at times trying to figure out how to make something work, but with the help of the team and the videos that Matt had provided for us was amazing help. Can't wait for the next step

SheCodes was such a great experience and I feel learnt a lot. The classes are short so you don't get bored and the challenges help you see if you really understood what was taught. Really had a lot of fun these past weeks.
This introduction to coding was a great training for the absolute beginner, I was. The videos are explaining HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT functionalities very clearly concise and easy to digest. It really increased my interest for coding even though there were a lot of try-and-errors. It is just amazing to realize what you can do even with some simple code!

All I can say about this workshop is WOWZERS!π² I didn't realize until now that the baseline languages I've been learning in college(C++,Python,Etc) is like a quick start to knowing just about all of them. I didn't expect to catch on as quick as I did, but it happened and its all thanks to workshop! I really appreciate the assistance from the tutors and videos. I really liked the format of the course, it is very easy to navigate. Moreover, I especially liked the practical part where you get to put in practice the skills obtained during the learning sessions. I think Mark does a great job as a teacher, he is very direct and does not make it look like difficult, just challenging which is exciting. I definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is looking for a new challenge and maybe a new path in their professional career!

The biggest selling point for me about SheCodes is that you can learn according to your schedule throughout the week, but having the homework deadline gives you that push to prioritise it. Having no background in coding at all, i think it's amazing how much you are able to learn in such a short period of time. I also really appreciate that you can go back and re-watch the lessons when needed.

When I was informed there would be a new SheCodes Responsive class, I remember I was already ready to take 5 week-long-course. While adjusting the curriculum with my own pace of learning, I challenged myself to finish the weekly homework earlier than the deadline. It was not easy to secure my spare time. after my full time work. By fully utilizing my early morning time before my work and minimizing my social and fun activities for my future, I was able to create the project about Climate Change successfully. Like other courses that I took, the learning journey with Matt, Joao, and other support staffs was not always smooth to carry on but definitely worthy to try again and again (but never give up). Like a quote "Your strength is your own knowledge." I would love to show my greatest appreciation to SheCodes as I believe I became intellectually stronger than before. Responsive course has taught me that we would need to consider the end users when developing any products. Nowadays, people would. check the information via mobile web and it is crucial for developers to make sure that the. webpages would be responsive and SEO friendly. Thank you again Matt and I am already excited to take another course from SheCords.

It is a very interesting workshop and fully completes what was learn in JS and React ones.
Coding is something I have wanted to learn for some time so I did quite a bit of research online, but I kept coming back to SheCodes, so I booked myself onto the free 1 hour session one evening. I was completely engrossed and couldn't wait to start learning properly. I was really drawn to SheCodes as everything is broken down into bite-sized sections, and as a complete newbie, this really stood out to me. I love the fact there are lots of shorter exercises to complete after most of the lessons with a longer homework piece at the end of the week. Being quite a practical learner, this is by far the best way to help me understand. Love how there is a community on Slack, where everyone can help out, as well as the experts if you get really stuck. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants a taster of how websites work; but be prepared, you may good hooked!
I really love taking the SheCodes workshop! The lessons are easy to follow and the community on Slack was super helpful. Although I am new to coding the lessons didn't feel overwhelming because they were broken down into videos 15 minutes or less.
Signing up for the SheCodes Plus workshop is probably the best decision I've made this year. After a free lesson with Matt, I knew I had to try it. The first workshops were wonderful. I immediately got into it. But SheCodes Plus made me feel really confident with my skills and I developed amazingly. Creating a weather app was very difficult at times, but I had so much fun doing it! I would recommend them to anyone, especially one who claims that coding is not for her. You never know!
For a long time I was considering taking coding classes. I am glad I chose "shecodes" to start my journey. It was challenging at times but the teaching material and skills were very easy to follow and the community helpful.
SheCodes has enabled me, coached me and given me the confidence to pursue coding. The course covered a lot of information, delivered in concise manner that is easy to absorb. Plus workshop is definitely more challenging, but absolutely worth it. I love the lesson breakdown and the challenges leading up to the final project. I come from a career in visuals, so using different parts of my brain to figure out how functions work was a challenge, but one I eventually understood and thoroughly enjoyed.
I knew coming into this class it was going to be challenging, but wow was I surprised about how easy shecodes made it to learn. It definitely will take a lot of practice to use all of the concepts without having to constantly look back at my notes, but I now understand how basic coding works! In 3 short weeks, I created a website with user interaction. I have never been more proud of myself!
These classes are easy to follow and taught me a ton in a short amount of time! I love how it walks you through step by step and gives you challenges along the way to ensure that you understand.

βAfter seven years working for big corporations in logistic I have started my biggest project which is my family. I have two wonderful little kids which are actually owners of all my time. I am looking for new challenges in new areas (not to become completely crazy ) and coding was one of the things which I have always wanted to learn.
