I think I am starting to love coding because of this course. Very hands on, explained in a great way for a beginner.
So far so good ! I like the setup and how simple and good the courses are. I have enrolled before in other learning courses in coding but always gave up. SheCodes gives me everything that the other ones were lacking. The community is great and all the help you can get if needed. Highly recommend and can't wait to continue ! :)

I am very happy about this course! The information is divided in small parts, so you can take your pace and easily find and rewatch some classes if necessary. Also, the information is provided in understandable way, therefore I had no difficulties in completing the tasks even if I did not have any knowledge about coding!
As somebody that enjoys learning new things, this was a fun and useful workshop even if you're not aiming for a career in front-end development!

I loved the course, was well taught in a simpler and interesting way. Before I started I thought it was going to be rocket science but I was wrong, it was enjoyable, and I want to learn more.
I've really enjoyed this course. Being able to apply everything I'm learning to a project has helped consolidate the learning. It's really hands on which suits my learning style. Matt has added extra classes as I've been going through which was really useful.

The entire course was a lot of fun! I have always loved the precise, abstract thinking required for programming, but had never used HTML, CSS or JavaScript. I wouldn't have thought it could be so addictive! I liked that all the lessons were concise, everything was very well explained and the challenges were not too hard. After work, I was always looking forward to proceeding with my SheCodes course! I'll definitely be back!

I have never thought that it could be so easy to learn coding! During my quarantine, I decided to develop myself to make a career change which I have alwasy wanted. I stumbled upon SheCodes after a quick research. I've learned the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Matt's way of teaching makes it a lot easier to a complete beginner to understand. SheCodes is not offering just videos to watch! The fact that there are challenges following each lesson enables you to practice what you've just learned. I am really thankful to Matt and to the whole SheCodes team! For sure, I will continue with SheCodes plus because it is so much fun and the satisfaction of coding and creating is inexplicable. π
I absolutely love SheCodes! I was teaching myself to code for about 4 months before deciding to enroll in the workshops. Matt was able to fill a lot of gaps and clarify a lot of things about HTML and CSS that I didn't quite understand. I look forward to diving into the SheCodes Plus workshop and learning more about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and tackling Bootstrap, Git, and APIs.
This course was very intense and interesting. I really enjoyed the step-by-step approach and the challenges were very helpful in learning the material. I would lose track of time while doing the challenges and working on the final project because I just wanted to keep learning more and more.

I was SO nervous to try a coding workshop because I've never done anything coding related, but SheCodes has made it possible! The lessons are very easy to watch and understand. Lessons were well planned out and the order was easy to follow. The weekly homework assignments allowed me to apply everything learned over the week. All in all, I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to applying everything I learned in future careers.

This workshop does not view React in all its complexity, but you get to know the basics, and you'll learn pretty fast. I really enjoyed the Dictionary project! I am excited about continuing my journey in coding/programming. :)
Thoroughly enjoyed the course and have learnt loads. Everything was easy to follow and I'm really happy with how its all gone. I have loved looking at others questions in slack to see what problems people have been having and felt I learnt loads by trying to error check.
SheCodes React was my third SheCodes workshop and as the other ones I am very happy to have finished it, it was great! I started with a beginners course out of curiosity. Coding is something really far out from the type of work I do right now, but I wanted to see if this is something I could enjoy doing. The videos and the assignments are fun and easy, which kept me motivated and interested in learning further :).
Wow! I can't believe it's been six weeks. Time flies when you are having fun. React is fun to learn and use. I like how Matt elaborates each process step by step and doesn't skip to introduce us to the basics first before jumping into the more complicated ones. A lot of things I learned from the Javascript workshop made a lot of sense after learning React. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

Due to the pandemic, I lost my job and I decided that it was time for me to do a job for me. I spoke with a friend about her job, as a Front End Web Developer. Shortly thereafter, I stumbled across an ad for SheCodes. I loved the message that was being expressed. I signed up and have loved the challenge. I have always been an individual who gets bored easily with jobs that don't challenge me. I have loved this experience thus far. I would recommend this to any one who is interested in learning coding, whether it be for a career change, or just for fun.
A great introduction to basic coding! Felt really approachable and I got a lot of satisfaction out of solving problems in my code and seeing it work in real time.
When I first started the workshop I thought it was impossible to learn coding but as time went on and as I put more effort into learning I found it because easier and the questions I was asking became more focused. This experience has really opened my eyes to a world that I was previously too intimidated to engage.
I have found my ultimate passion. This course was amazing, I enjoyed it so much and it made me realize how much I enjoy and love coding. I am certain that I want to do this for a living, which is a motivation that I hadn't felt in a very long time. The ree weeks went by so fast! I really wish it would have lasted longer. Matt was a great teacher, his way of teaching was easy to understand and always made me feel safe and trust that I could experiment, fail, succeed, or let whatever had to happen, happen. SheCodes provides another alternatives during this hard period in covid 2020. I had never imagined that I would have interested in IT-related career. I then became a firm believer that I will obtain something if I purchase this workshop after finishing the three-weeks basic workshop. And most importantly, I found a tremendous fact that coding is the language communicating to the human future.

It's such a big joy when you see the computer doing what you instruct it to do! I enjoyed this workshop a lot: the mini-videos help you understand coding step by step, so it's not scary anymore. It gets easier and funnier!

Equally challenging and rewarding course, I really like the structure, the videos and what a great project to finish with! At times, Lacking sometimes in basic knowledge and theory when it came to JS, but overall very good :)

This was such a fun course. I managed to build my own responsive page, which I will be using from now on to share and showcase my work as a writer. It was very hands-on and the content was very useful and concise.

Due to Covid, I was so lost and confused! Through much researching I found SheCodes and immediately fell in love with coding. Once I am finished, I will be able to get my dream job!
