It was really helpful to take this course after completing the other three SheCodes workshops! This course really helped pull all the information together and made me feel a lot more confident in formatting my projects and keeping them responsive to a variety of devices. There are some really helpful tips in this course and creating the portfolio was essential for me and it helped to have all of my previous SheCodes projects to display! Now I've officially completed all 4 workshops and and I easily say, it was a lot of hard work, but was definitely worth it! The team is very helpful and are there to help and guide you through the process.

The program started off with a review of introductory HTML, CSS, and Javascript and then proceed to improve upon those skills. At times, the course was challenging and the support of the SheCodes team gave me the support I needed to complete the more challenging tasks. I am incredibly proud of the Weather App I've built using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and I look forward to continuing to learn more advanced components.
This course gave me a way better understanding on how react components are created and communicate with each other, than when I tried to learn React by myself. Even though some parts were tricky to follow, especially when a different API needs to be used than the one displayed in the course, I really enjoyed completing the challenges and both of the final projects.
This was a great source to learn code.
I knew nothing about React before this course, and now I am a huge fan. As someone who tries to keep things organized, I liked the efficiency of building UI components into a huge library. I can see why more and more developers are using it! While this course was a challenge, it was one worth taking. I'm glad that SheCodes added a second project to this course because I felt more confident the second time around and I had a lot of fun creating it. I'm so proud to add two new projects to my portfolio.
I made it! It was fun AND challenging at the same time. We learn the very very basic of these 3 languages and have an overall idea of the depth of coding. It is very easy to get frustrated but the community and SheCodes team helps you go through it.
Felt challenging and a bit too complicated sometimes for someone starting to code without prior experience. Nevertheless, the good thing about this online course is that you have access to all classes and materials all the time so if you don't feel sure about something, you can always revisit the class and watch the lesson again.
Thank you for this workshop! For someone who is motivated by deadlines that are not self-imposed, these workshops have been very useful for me. As someone who is not in any way a designer or engineer but at home in the humanities and social sciences, these workshops have been a wonderful and easy introduction. I can recommend them.
In last few weeks I've learned what coding is, and because of this class I am now sure about what college do I want to apply for .
This follow-up of SheCodes was very interesting to see what the possibilities are of HTML and CSS. It was a good combination of thinking about your design and make it work in your coding editor. Or not ;) That's how coding works; trial and error.

I'm elated to have successfully finished this workshop. It has been a tough challenge, but in order to get good at something, you have to be bad at it first. This workshop allowed me to do each exercise badly, learn what went wrong, and fix it to create something that I'm proud of.

I didn't expect that I would like coding. The workshop is very well organized and very well explained. If someone is doubting if coding is for you then this workshop is ideal to take.
It was a great experience building a responsive website and also a great opportunity to build a portfolio website which I can always update with my newest projects.
Perfect for absolute beginners with no knowledge in coding, as Matt explains every little thing in detail which is extremely helpful and important to understand. Absolutely amazing!

I was so happy when I got an email from SheCodes that there was a new course. I really like the way SheCodes teaches but also the community and helping each other through Slack.
After starting my coding adventure with SheCodes Basics I've decided to continue with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React. It's impressive the amount of things I had the chance to learn. The module about React was definetely the most challenging but at the end I was so happy and proud to submit my 1st React app built from scratch with Matt's help.
This was an awesome extension of the SheCodes work I've already done. Not only was I able to get back into coding in a motivated way, but it was doing a project that will really benefit me in the future.
I truly enjoyed this coding class. It challenged me, sparked my creative juices and the end product is one that I am super proud of. I look forward to continuing on and expanding my knowledge in coding.

SheCodes is great for beginners! In just three weeks you can learn HTML, CSS and Javascript at your own pace with bite-size lessons and small challenges to keep you motivated. It was a great experience and I can not wait to learn more.
Last year I joined SheCodes for the very first time and did the first two workshops coding related that I've ever done. More recently I needed to refresh my skill set and update it in order to embrace a more complex challenge, that's why I enrolled in the "Online Responsive Development Workshop". I learnt a lot of new technologies and now I feel capable to build a unique online portfolio on my own. Even though my design competences are not the best, now I feel comfortable with the creation of a website and everything related to its structure. Once again, I have to thank to Matt Delact and SheCodes for giving us this opportunity to learn that much. With your powerfull lessons, the organized and detailed program, the homeworks and constantly support, I think it is not possible to dislike it. I do recommend it to everyone!
I have no previous experience of coding and have found SheCodes to be an excellent workshop. Having just completed the Basic workshop, I'm keen to build on what I have learnt and so will be continuing with the workshops. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone that would like to start from scratch.

I remember taking coding classes at school as a kid, but I never enjoyed it as it was boring and mundane, and as a result never sought the interest to make a career out of it. However, enrolling and taking Matt's classes and learning simultaneously with his instructions, as well as the immediate and constant support from staff and fellow learners at Slack, made my coding journey so refreshing and exciting; I learned so much more in 3-4 weeks than I ever did in a year as a fifth grader. I definitely see the value coding can give my career, and I hope to go further and take more advanced courses with SheCodes.

I had a little experience with HTML before I took this course. Now I can comfortably code and I understand the concepts a lot more than before I took this Workshop . SheCodes Plus was an intense workshop, definitely learned a lot, had my share of headaches but I knew the final outcome would feel great! Learned a lot more about Javascript, a language I thought was impossible for me to learn and understand but with the help of Matt and the SheCodes Team I can say I am truly proud of myself for getting through these 8 weeks and creating a weather app/widget that is functioning and that I'm able to read and explain to others. Challenging but empowering. I've learned things I thought were out of reach for me and let go of negative assumptions about my capacity to grow and progress. Will you curse under your breath in frustration at times? Yes. But will you also revel in your success when something finally clicks? YES! Do this for yourself. You won't regret it.

After successfully completing the Intro to Coding course, I was curious about continuing but was also unsure if I could take my skills to the next level. I got a very kind message from Matt encouraging me to continue, so I decided to take the leap! This course did such a great job building upon the foundations I learned in Intro to Coding. The additional material covering JS functions and hosting was especially interesting to me. I have some long-term aspirations of becoming a product manager and I think my new understanding of code will be really helpful with that journey.

SheCodes was great! I don't think I'll end up going into a job where coding is needed but I will absolutely continue to do it in my free time! I think it is so much fun and I loved learning how each language worked. It was nice to see how much I understood and could figure out on my own once I started the Final Project!
SheCodes Plus has been amazing at the very least, I had a lot of fun while learning valuable coding skills and working on the final project. There have been times when I felt stuck and frustrated but the community here at SheCodes is so so helpful and supportive and it is sure to get you back on track. This is the best investment I have done so far and I can't be more proud! I am very excited to start the React workshop!
SheCodes Plus has been extremely challenging but very rewarding. I'm amazed by how far I've come and, without the clear video instructions, encouragement and homework to keep me up to speed, I doubt I would ever have achieved what I have in such a short space of time. I'm already looking forward to moving onto React!

The 3-week course provided me with just enough information for me to be able to work and communicate better with the dev team at my job. SheCodes lessons were not intimidating and Matt does a great job walking through every step and explaining WHY you would do something that way.

Within a very short time I got a basic understanding of the logic of a website. The course provides very good guidance and can still be participated flexibly from any where at any time.
