I am a beginner to coding and this course made me realize how much I love it. The lessons were easy enough to follow especially with such a great instructor. I love how every project gave you a little taste of problem solving which is needed in real world application. Hi, this is me Yasmine from Egypt living in Poland. i've never imagined to see myself as a coder. i started this journey with my 2 month-newborn. it was a real challenge .i'm glad that he will be my partner while exploring this coding world coding is much exciting than i thought ..

This workshop was great! I wanted to try it to see if coding really was my cup of tea. It turns out, I really love coding! The lessons are well-structured and broken down into manageable pieces which makes them easy to understand. I would recommend SheCodes to any girl interested in coding 👑

This project took me longer to finish, but the final result is worth it. Every lesson was at a pace I can keep up with and easy to follow.

SheCodes has been very informative! I enjoyed the video lessons and being able to follow along at a not-too-rigorous pace, while also being checked on and encouraged by the staff, who ensured I never fell far behind. This was a tremendous help, since I can have demanding work hours! I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to learn how to create a webpage with JS and how to utilize APIs. I’m excited about my new skills!

Great workshop! I learned so much in 3 weeks. Matt is a great teacher and really takes the time to explain complicated concepts.

It is a satisfying introduction course for beginners. Content is very compact and detailed. I'm very proud to see my final project work out!!! And yes, I guess I've got obsessed with using emoji in my HTML just like Matt...🤣🤣

When I started SheCodes WorkShops few months ago, I didn´ t imagined I will be able to built an entire app by myself. With ups and downs, It was worth. I highly recommend this! :)

SheCodes teaches intuitive step-by-step coding basics, similar to learning a new language. Slack staff was extremely helpful and patient.

SheCodes has been awesome! I put off registering for so long because i was worried it would be too difficult to understand the videos as i have tried and failed to understand even the basics in the past. These classes were easy to understand and the challenges helped me retain information easier. i have learnt so much in such a short period its just amazing. Thanks a lot Matt!

I have been trying to learn coding on my own but it never stuck but with SheCodes, I have learned so much and Matt makes it so fun and it gives me so much comfort to watch the videos and see that we also still makes mistakes sometimes and its not just a beginner thing.

I really enjoyed this course! Matt is a great teacher. Week One took me nearly 20 hours but I got there in the end and had fun learning a new skill.

Coming from SheCodes Basic to Plus was great because i had the basic knowledge to build upon, and you are constantly being challenged. The community is great and you will always get feedback on questions / queries super fast. For me, the video material became a little confusing at the end and feels like it needs to be updated to streamline the process.

In this short time period I learned a lot. Really enjoyed this workshop!

The workshop was super interesting and easy to follow for someone with no background in coding. The fact that we can manage our own schedule/deadlines and the support of the community is a plus. Would definitely recommend it!

SheCodes is an amazing workshop! Absolutely trilled by the methods of teaching. It's got perfect structure of lessons to start learning to code from the begging! It is challenging, but the greatest thing about it is that you can do it in your own time and pace! I would definitely recommend it!

SheCodes is a great workshop to learn more about programming! Out of all the tutorials I have tried for coding this has been the most effective one. I love SheCodes teaching style!

I was describing to someone how I always wanted to be a computer programmer as a child, but stopped learning because being on the computer all the time wasn't cool in the early 2000s. As I spoke, I realized the barrier to entry has never been lower and began searching for coding boot camps. The deadlines work very well for me, and watching Matt code live makes everything click into place.

I really enjoy every workshop I do with SheCodes. Everything is broken down into bite-size pieces so it's easier to take it all in and not get overwhelmed.

I would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn how to code. The lessons are broken down into manageable pieces of information that you can learn at your own pace. Also the support network provided on the slack channels makes sure you don't feel alone when you hit any roadblocks.

A lovely project to learn everything from Javascript to APIs. I just wish they would show certain functions rather than saying they are too hard to do!

I've really enjoyed working through this workshop and having learned the basics in an easy well-structured way! Reccomend this workshop as a good way to start out!

I went into this course with very little knowledge of the subject, and now, three weeks later, I'm looking forward to applying my coding skills in my current job. SheCodes Plus was an amazing continuation to Basics. What I love about these workshops is that all the lessons are hands-on so they prepare you to code real-world apps. I'm new to the IT industry and chose to specialize in data science. I got a little frustrated with studying on my own and wanted to explore additional learning opportunities to help maintain motivation. I came across SheCodes and it piqued my interest. I am doing this partly for fun and to explore this mysterious world of coding that I have always felt was beyond my comprehension, but SheCodes has made it so accessible and surprisingly entertaining! I loved how easy it was to access the lessons, how support was always available and how each lesson was broken down so as to never overwhelm you with information. Looking forward to having some time to keep on going with the different levels of workshop!

During the course I got a new job, and really struggled to find the time to continue this course. Happily, the crew behind SheCodes are very understanding, and continued to help me although I could not keep with deadlines. I have learnt so much, and I know my weather app is a little bit crooked due to a combination of my lack of artistic direction and lack of time; I am so eager to continue coding in my own time. Looking forward to SheCodes React!

SheCodes.io was so hands-on and really fun. I looked forward to working on my challenges and submitting the weekly homework. Highly recommend it for anyone interested in learning how to code or just curious about how web pages are built.

SheCodes is a platform that helps in learning the current latest technology. It has helped me a lot in gaining knowledge about web designing. I intend to learn more about this as has my current interest :) .

Being able to work on a project from start to finish was extremely helpful and make something I can be proud of. Being able to display my work and have a project I can keep adding to is a major accomplishment!

Working through the workshop with no experience at all and feeling overwhelmed with the idea of coding, SheCodes provided me the knowledge and skills to understand basic concepts of coding. I am looking forward to understand more and deepen the knowledge about coding.

After completing the basic workshop I decided to also enroll in the SheCodes Plus Workshop – and I would highly recommend it! It can be challenging at times but the SheCodes-Team gives you wonderful and prompt support regarding any questions. It really helped me further understand the world of coding and I am very proud to have coded a functioning Weather App.

It's amazing how interesting and easy to understanding the lessons are. Matt is a very good teacher and gives you tools for being able to find your own way. He teaches you how to fish not just how to eat a fish 😉

I've been trying to get into coding for a while but just never find the right class for me. Matt's classes were just the right pace; not too fast and not painfully slow. The challenges were fun and kept me interested. Looking forward to taking another class with SheCodes when I'm done with this one!

Plus course helps to strengthen on past concepts learnt on basic course and a good introductory on API which is a very useful tool for interactions with other applications - recommended for starters

I loved how Matt made clear from the beginning that anyone can get into coding, no matter the background. The three weeks course it's a very pleasurable intro to the world of coding. You learn a lot of things in a very short time without feeling overwhelmed or scared, which is very important for absolute beginners.

SheCodes plus was an excellent challenge! Doing the project week by week following Matt's extremely detailed tutorials was the best way to get more comfortable with HTML, CSS & JavaScript. I am looking forward to continuing my journey with the SheCodes React workshop!

I just finished my last project from SheCodes Basic. The curriculum is broken down into gradual steps so you don't have to worry if you are a total beginner. Matt Delac is an amazing tutor that will guide you through with short videos and challenges. He makes coding fun and his passion for coding is super contagious. Moreover, his team always check on you and the community is fantastic. I will definitely continue my journey at SheCodes!! 🥰

I was quite apprehensive to try coding as it seemed so complicated. I was drawn to this course as it was aimed at women and there were projects to complete to cement your knowledge and understanding. SheCodes React was challenging indeed, but also extremely rewarding. Little by little, every piece of information was carefully delivered and explained in detail, I felt greatly supported by the Shecodes team. I approached coding for the very first time five months ago, with my first SheCodes Workshop. I can't believe I have made it through Plus and React, I have learnt so many new skills and I couldn't be happier now. Time for more coding adventures!

At first, getting into React seemed daunting and scary. It was this mystic creature with components all over the place and functions that jump around and you forget to include your CSS file and why won't it just work?! But then you start, and Matt's soothing voice guides you through your third breakdown and you listen more closely, connect a few components, and it starts to make sense. Maybe it's not so bad. Maybe you even like it. If there's a hiccup, the whole team is ready to help, and the support network from all the other women is priceless. This course is life-changing.

WOW!!Coming from the basic workshop, SheCodes Plus is an accessible introduction to hosting, APIs, and has a perfect balance between 🥵and 🤯. What a ride! Some lessons are challenging; however, Matt and the SheCodes team do an excellent job at breaking down topics and integrating previously learned skills each week. This first contact with the frontend dev world has been challenging but also proved to me that I cannot wait to continue!
