I really enjoyed the ease of SheCodes and how simple it was to learn basically a whole new language! I'm excited to proceed and learn more.
A very fun way to learn about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! I enjoyed the challenges that were included in some lessons, it helped me prepare for the weekly homework and the final project.
I loved SheCodes! The concepts were easy enough to grasp in the timeframes they were provided and help was always accessible if I was confused :)

I really loved the interactivity with SheCodes. I've tried other webdev courses but never got on well with them due to being self paced, but I felt I had a community that I could interact and connect with here.

I highly recommend this workshop for absolute beginners! is really fun to learn how to code. I also find SheCodes Radio pretty good and helpful to concentrate while coding. The way the videos are self paced make the course pretty flexible, but the deadlines for the homeworks give you the needed presure. Every lesson has a challenge to be completed on your own. In that way you get to put your knowledge on practice!
It was an amazing adventure in the world of coding. Thanks to the whole team for this amazing experience. Now I will try to consolidate all my knowledge and apply it in practice.

I liked learning React, There were 2 very cool projects to work on. Both challenging, but you learned a lot from doing them. It was interesting to take a previous project and re-do with React and then build something totally different from the ground up. It made the learning experience more complete. Thanx for adding the 2nd project.
The Responsive workshop was a great way to end my coding journey. I was able to use many of the skills I gained from past workshops and showcase all of my work into my own portfolio!
Prior to starting the SheCodes Basics workshop, I didn't have any experience with coding but I've always been interested in learning about it. I can genuinely say that I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop because I feel like I learned so much in such a small amount of time. The layout of the course is excellent and it allows you to study at your own pace which is very useful. The videos for each lesson were fantastic and the challenges were great too as it helped with solidifying and retaining the new skills we had just learned. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who's curious about the world of coding 😄
I find the coding class awesome! It was great fun! I learned a lot but there is a lot more. I am looking for new opportunities in my career and this is helpful to be able to make a CV or portfolio, connect with people with a simple webpage. The slack was very useful. It is great to be part of the community. The classes are well made and I will recommend them to my network.

This was a great course to take for intro to coding. Within three weeks, I feel more comfortable in creating a simple webpage and I also learned a little bit about reverse engineering codes used on other pages to see how they work, which is great to know. Its more self-paced course and will be great for those who learned better on their own with a little guidance. Anyone can take this course and pass successfully all you need is the willingness to learn.
First of all - thank you for creating this workshop! I learned soooo much! I actually thought that this workshop would be easy, because I was sure React was the most difficult workshop of all. But I must say, SheCodes Responsive was actually very demanding. It takes time and effort to create a good-looking, user-friendly, and responsive website. Matt explained everything in detail as alwas, and the SheCodes team was super helpful when I had questions (thank you João!). I hope more workshops are coming, because I am now totally addicted to SheCodes and to Matt's way of teaching!
I got to know SheCodes through a friend and I thought why not try something new that I had never done before. The course is simple and effective. Loving every minute of programming. I will not stop here;)
I work with web content, and HTML and CSS always were a relevant part of my professional activity. I always thought that learning those languages (and some programming like Javascript) was possible only for people who liked and knew much math. But SheCodes not only taught me that coding is fun but also it is an activity for everyone. :)
SheCodes is a very well structured workshop to learn how to code, it's very begginner friendly, the videos are well explained and there is always help available if you get stuck. The responsive course teaches you a lot of useful techniques to build websites that look good no matter the device (desktop, mobile...) I definitely recomment it.
I would recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in learning coding. The workshops, apart from everything being well-explained, are really fun. 300% better than what I was expecting. I worked the course around working and having a new baby. It's a flexible and informative course with all the support necessary.

What stands out to me about the workshop is how each task (or 'challenge') is well explained and easy to understand for beginners, and the programme as a whole is well structured. I also appreciated how flexible the programme is; I was able to complete everything at my own pace, and fit the work in around my other commitments.

I never thought that I could do an app by myself although it's not perfect! I'm so grateful that I can learn and execute everything from scratch. Other than that, SheCodes also has a strong and positive community with constant checking my process. I feel amazing because I don't feel alone in this journey.
The basics work shop was so much fun . The classes are taught in a good pace and being able to re-watch it was really helpful. The resources provided were really helpful. I am really excited to continue and hopefully make a career out of this.

I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus after completing SheCodes Basics! Matt is a very good instructor, giving real-life examples that help to memorize & the support team is always very reactive and helpful. Being part of the community on Slack also helps to resolve problems, as other students often face the same issues. I feel now comfortable enough to code my own projects and try new things independently. I highly recommend this path to everyone!
A year ago, I never would've imagined that I'd code my own website one day. But I did it, and I'm excited to see where coding will take me next! Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for helping me learn skills that are not only fun but also marketable.

SheCodes Plus is really challenging. You get to learn how to integrate real data, work on your visuals so it looks nice on different devices and keep track of your coding so you can see your progression/changes. Would highly recommend this if you want to take things further.
SheCodes is an excellent platform for beginners! Before SheCodes, my biggest concern was whether coding courses would be interactive. I am glad that I found SheCodes, which has allowed me to explore the world of coding and potentially do it as an occupation. SheCodes Basics was a great intro to coding and design, but SheCodes Plus takes everything you learned to a higher level. From learning to improve our designs with fonts, visuals & content positioning to learning complex functions and integrating real life data...this workshop really challenges you to step up your coding game!

This was a trying course, but I learned a lot in a relatively short amount of time. Be ready to put a lot of time and energy into this course. It definitely took me longer than 5 hours a week. Overall I would still highly recommend this course, and look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.

This workshop is perfect for beginners, I only knew a little bit of HTML before starting the course and had no problem following along the lessons. The bite-sized videos make you feel accomplished whenever you complete a unit or a challenge. Also, the support team on the Slack channel is amazing, they get back to you quickly.
SheCodes Responsive is my third workshop I have completed! I continue to learn new things every day and I have met so many supportive people along the way. I feel more confident in my ability to pursue a career in web development. I am looking forward to SheCodes React and expanding on what I have learned so far. It makes you think a lot, you get new skills and get to know a whole new world. I never thought it would be so exciting to learn how to code.
I always wanted to try coding, I think it is a great tool and asset to add to my skills and my career as a project manager. This is a great workshop to get started and Shecodes did a great job putting this program together with the main focus on women.
As with the previous SheCodes courses, learning React was made easier with the up-to-date video classes/demonstrations and online help forum. Although quite new to coding, I am finding that my skills base is growing rapidly, along with my confidence in this area. I feel I still have a long way to go, but I think SheCodes has really fast-tracked my exposure to coding languages and made the learning experience enjoyable.
This is paced perfectly for someone with responsibilities outside of the workshop.
I have done some coding in the past, but this program has really sparked my interest in web development and has given me a good grasp on it.

SheCodes Plus was a rather enjoyable experience. Each section is broken down and explained clearly. You will end up doing some of your own internet research for answers but that is all part of the learning process. This course was a great challenge and will be worth it in the long run.
Well worth the money. The Plus Workshop, like the Basics Workshop, does a great job of making it easy to learn. The self-taught style of learning is perfect for someone like me who needed an in-depth, end-to-end workshop. You can't put a price on that!
Loved taking the React workshop, first it was a bit tough trying to figure everything out but with time it all made sense. Can't wait to take the next workshop get better at coding and continue this new journey
As a recent graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, I knew nothing about coding when I started, and now, I'm leaving with so much knowledge and broader horizons! I'm really happy I did this course and these 3 weeks of the course have been really fun!

I think it was an excellent opportunity to learn new things. I would absolutely recommend it because I think that there are not many spaces made specifically for women and dissidents where these skills can be learned. I found it to be a wonderful and enriching experience. The world of coding is a space that I am just getting to explore and I loved learning it from a place that was so friendly, so simple, and in my own time. I think that the most remarkable thing that this workshop has, is that everything is very clear, the content and the lessons are very pedagogical and there are many opportunities where one can ask, and I believe that this is fundamental in an educational process.
