I love how much I am able to do for the final project just after a few hours of learning. The course is in such small units that you have a sense of achievment several times an hour. This helps a lot to stay onboard!

I highly recommend this course for everyone who has doubts and is not sure if coding journey is for them. All learning materials are super accessible and easy to understand and you get to learn basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This is a great starting point which can set you up for your future learning path depending on what interests you the most. I know that my path is programming rather than designing, but it's good to have knowledge of all. I cannot wait to start my next workshop!

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes workshop. I think the curriculum is very engaging, easy to follow along, I did not need much assistance but it there when you need it. Before this course, I briefly did some studying on HTML and CSS, this course ended up putting it all together - but I would highly recommend this to a new leaner. I now have much more understanding on the material and can't wait to start on the Plus workshop next week.
Its super interesting to learn how to code actual apps. Clear step by step explanation with loads of resources. Great workshop!
I have learnt so much from both SheCodes Workshop and Plus. Matt is a great teacher and the team are so friendly and quick to reply to any questions you have! There were definitely challenging points but the live support I received was amazing, I learnt so much from asking questions. Everything is broken down and makes it feel manageable which is so motivating because you can quickly see your progress. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about learning to code to go for it!

I set myself a goal earlier in the year that I would learn how to code my own webpage and applications; and I still can't believe how far I've come. The content, the platform and the support have really pushed me to not only elevate my coding skills but I take with me many other valuable lessons on how to manage projects, structure your workflow and write better code. Can't wait to get stuck into the remainder of the workshops, Responsive & React here I come.

I am just about to finish my Masters degree in MSc Information Management and Preservation. I noticed that a lot of the work that I may be doing in the future would involve coding, so I thought I would use SheCodes as a launch pad for that endeavour. However, I don't think I realised just how useful this would be. All of the lessons are very easy to follow and I had a lot of flexibility. It was also useful that we were able to get practical experience in coding, and these are skills that I will use for years to come.
I had alot of fun doing this course and learned so much! I love the slack channel it offers so much support, and when you are stumped on a problem its nice to see youre not alone and can almost always find the answer digging through the slack chanel. wonderful workshop!

I joined the SheCodes Basics workshop while on maternity leave as I wanted to learn something new besides thinking just about the baby's arrival :) The workshop was a lot of fun. Everything was well-explained and I feel like I have a better grasp of what coding is about.
Wow! I would never have expected to come so far! I am still worried that I will come to the point where I don't understand things anymore. But up to now I mastered every challenge somehow. Sometimes I needed some time to really understand the code. But I always came to the point where it made "click" π Thanks to Matt and the whole team β€βπ

The SheCodes Plus workshop was no easy feat, but with the detailed lessons and help of other students/instructors, I completed the course and created a weather app that people can use! Excited to move onto the React workshop and learn more!
Super fun and challenging workshop! I have learnt so much over this workshop and it is so rewarding seeing it all come together in the weather app for the final project. I am so happy I continued and will continue on this coding journey :D. I am still so impressed with the teaching style and all the resources at our hands. Such a supportive learning environment which really makes it easier to keep going when you get stuck or feel lost for a moment or days or maybe a week. Looking forward to the next workshop!
This was a great experience. It's so easy to acclimate to the format and exercise-based method of learning; I finished the workshop despite cognitive difficulties due to a previous brain injury. That's really amazing to me because I tried learning JavaScript from other sources several times before my injury and still didn't understand it until I took this workshop.
I can't believe how much I have learned so far, excited for the next workshops!!
I really enjoyed this course. It was easy to follow along and the assignments were fun. I thought coding would be an overwhelming skill to learn but this course made me realize how fun it can be.
SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding. The lessons were easily digestible and the homework/assignments were challenging, but integrated your new knowledge. The Slack app was also a great addition to ask questions and connect with other students.
I really enjoyed this workshop. The knowledge that I have gained will be helpful in furthering my career as a Master Files Analyst.

SheCodes Plus was a great experience! The coding challenges were always challenging but doable and mostly fun. The course structure was a little confusing at times but overall I really enjoyed the workshop and would definitely recommend.

I can hardly believe how much I've learned with this course. There is so much packed in and it's great to be able to go at your own pace. Wow, another awesome experience with SheCodes! React is super cool and I'm so thankful I had the chance to complete another workshop with SheCodes to learn about it. The lessons are broken down into digestible chunks which makes learning complex techniques more approachable. I love both of my projects and I am proud of myself for pushing through even when I felt like giving up. Although I have finished all four SheCodes workshops that are currently offered, I would happily return in the future and sign up for more. Matt is a great teacher!

Before SheCodes, I didn't know anything about coding, nor did I have much interest. But through the course, I have learned a great deal and found it hugely enjoyable. Matt and the team are incredible teachers, and the pacing of the course is perfect. Learning in bitesize pieces is a brilliant way to pick up knowledge. I can't recommend the course enough! The learning process has been so exciting and challenging that I have become inspired to continue exploring and experimenting with code. I am really proud of the work I have produced and am sure the skills I have gained will be useful for future projects.

I have gone through 2 workshops ( and already signed up for the React workshop) and can't give these classes and community enough praise. The community that Matt and team has created is probably one of the best educational groups I have ever experienced. SheCodes is an amazing way for a beginner to learn coding. At the time, I was looking for a coding program, but I had missed all of the deadlines for them. I felt like I had run out of options, but that's when I ran into SheCodes on a Youtube ad. It changed everything. Matt's way of teaching is amazing and the fact that it's self-paced made it even better.

SheCodes Plus has been the perfect continuation of my journey into coding after the 3-Week Introduction to Coding course! This flexible course worked well alongside my job and the SheCodes team were very helpful whenever I needed help. SheCodes Plus was a pleasant jump up in learning advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript but also, added web hosting (through Netlify), Bootstrap for CSS, API integration, Github repos and many more coding skills. Thoroughly enjoyed this course and it's a great value for money. I can't wait to continue with SheCodes in their SheCodes React course soon.
Before starting the online Basics workshop at SheCodes, I didn't have any experience with coding, and I didn't know that it could be fun. The layout of each lesson was excellent, and the challenges were fun. I have enjoyed and learned a lot in a short time! Highly recommended!
Coding was always something I had in mind, but didn't know where to start stuying. As an Industrial Designer I have always designed products for the fashion industry, but I had never gone digital, until 3 weeks ago that I discovered this unlimited field. I am very exited to see what is coming next!
The course is perfectly prepared and even while having a full time job I found always the time to have some time and code. Put the radio on and you get into the flow in no time!

SheCodes Basics was a great jumping off point to dive into Plus. The modules felt like mini intensives, opportunities to explore concepts like APIs and frameworks in an easy to manage way. There's definitely a lot of information available online but SheCodes Plus was a helpful anchor to ground in without getting lost or overwhelmed. Before I even realized it had happened, I was drawing on knowledge to solve problems on my own and now when I branch out and read about coding on other forums I'm ecstatic to find that I can follow what I'm seeing. SheCodes has definitely helped me see the depth of my own inner well and start filling it with resources and knowledge.
I can't believe I've learned as much as I have in these past three weeks. SheCodes is a really great way to get your feet wet in the world of coding. The video lessons are quick and straightforward, perfect for learning in short bursts if you've got a busy schedule, and the challenges are great for putting your skills to the test. Plus...it was all loads of fun!
