Environmental Engineer highly motivated to learn how to code!

I've learned a lot from SheCodes, and I'm excited to create/develop new things in the future!

great coding experience

This is the third workshop I take at SheCodes and it was very useful. It helped me to understand how responsiveness works, so now I feel much confident about creating nice mobile-friendly web designs. The only reason why I don't give it five stars is that I feel it was too much time considering the difficulty of the matter, and the exercises were kind of repetitive. So it was a challenge to keep me engaged after the third week. Besides that, this is another very good SheCodes workshop that is worth trying!

I enjoyed so much this course, I feel 100% to understand the essentials of HTML, CSS and JS and create interesting and interactive websites or apps. The community is amazing and the experience is totally worth it. SheCodes deserve much credit than it's receiving.

I appreciated how each lesson was broken down into brief and concise lectures and challenges to follow. The amount of information presented between each individual lesson was enough to grasp whilst taking notes and perfecting each solution.

I went through all the levels of courses offered and I'm so glad I stuck with it! Love the structure, self-paced work, and the Slack community has been extremely helpful. I've learned so much and I can't wait to start applying it to my work!

I was terrible at computer coding when I was in high school and really struggled with the basics. After watching the free class, I finally understood what my teacher had been trying to get through to me all those years ago. I've finished the first three weeks and I'm continuing on in the program. It's still a struggle sometimes, but there's lots of support from the SheCodes staff as well as all my fellow SheCoders, so I know I can succeed.

I really enjoyed the simple and thorough explanations and examples given for the concepts and that you could go back and watch the videos again. the challenges are not difficult to the point of frustration and with the helpful community on Slack you feel well supported.

The SheCodes Basic is good starting point for anyone who would like to tap into the world of web design. Instructions are clear and easy to understand, had losts of fun throughout the 3-week program!

I recently started a new job in tech-sales. My position made me gain a lot of theoretical knowledge about IT, and I wished to put this knowledge into practice. I always had a keen interest in tech but never started practising. Personally, I find it challenging to start with something completely new when having zero foundations: where and how best to start? I am so glad I signed up at SheCodes: it truly is for absolute beginners yet coincidentally the learning curve is steep! It helps you gain professional coding habits and trains on best practices. The course content is well explained and mixed up with a lot of practice; super well organised and - most importantly - fun. My introduction course to coding has been a great experience and I am excited to keep training with SheCodes all the way to React.js.

SheCodes was a super fun way to learn to code while deconstructing complex problems. It makes it easy to understand and I enjoyed learning the logic behind it. The support offered is a big plus as it encouraged me to test some other features that weren't taught, knowing I would not be left out stuck. 100% recommended!

Amazing workshop! I started this challenge without any knowledge of coding languages and ended up completely fascinated by these logic exercises and the countless applications of this new skill. Matt's style and knowledge are simply the best. Can't wait to learn more.

Hi Matt Thanks for the workshop. Due to work/life commitments it took me a lot longer to get started than expected. However once started (and I had a 2nd screen set up) I couldn't stop. Plus I got to use my sister's new business for final assignment. Great class and could only imagine how fun it would of been doing it with actual other shecodes ladies, instead of remotely. But still had heaps of fun. Fingers crossed I pass. Kat

Good workshop to learn how to create a responsive website with bootstrap and media queries. And how to make a multi-page website look good, including some basics about SEO.

I really enjoyed working through the lessons. The homework is the best bit because it makes you do something, not just watch the videos like a movie! Matt is a great instructor and the Slack channel is fantastic. Can't wait for the next courses.

I really enjoyed going deeper into these concepts and having the opportunity to try things out myself through the exercises.

I had a smooth journey learn coding with SheCodes, the way that Matt teaches is very understandable and makes you want to learn more. I'm glad I started with SheCodes to learn the basics of coding!! The staff of SheCodes were very understanding and informative too.

After Taking the beginners SheCodes course, I actually have been accepted into a really good university to study full-stack web development. This was a phenomenal experience to do alongside my current career and has allowed me to branch out into other areas of work. From the introductory class to the beginner's course, it has been a journey I really recommend everyone give a chance. You never know, you might find a new career path by the end of it!

I'm having so much fun with SheCodes - the teaching style makes learning code so much more accessible and I really cannot recommend it highly enough!

I have been taking SheCodes classes since August and can't believe how much I've learned. Matt's way of teaching makes you think outside the box. I can't wait every day to get to my computer and learn more. I'm never disappointed in any lesson.

SheCodes basic is the best introduction to all the basics - in such a short period of time I have been able to master HTML, CSS & Javascript, and Matt makes it the learning process effortless, interesting and fun. A good step up from the Basics course to learn more about JS functions.

I love this course! Wish I had more time to dive a little deeper these days, but it is also great that it is possible to combine this course with full time studies and work!

Best course I had came across.

I came across a SheCodes ad on instagram. Didn't look into it much until i came across it for a second time. I had decided to sign up for the free class & was very interested in learning more. i'm so happy i took the class and i cannot wait to continue to learn more!

I found most seemingly difficult concepts having been well explained. I also loved how hands on the course was which made grasping concepts easier.

I enjoyed this class a lot, I'm still unsure if this career could be right for me though. Its a lot to learn but Matt made it as simple as possible I believe. Although, I did spend 2-3x more time on assignments as Matts projections.

It's informational yet fun! ^_^

If you're thinking about it, take this as a sign. Thank you Matt and team! Happy to have added a new skill to my repertoire!

SheCodes program is absolutely amazing, as a Beginner to the IT career and had no any idea where to start this program really helps me I'm looking forward to take the rest of the workshops. And of course thank you Matt for making look easier for us beginners.

Currently, I am an HCA and MAC in the health field, which I l love. I want more freedom and I know coding will help to achieve it. I was so excited to learn in SheCoding. SheCodes teaches you by showing and making you do challenges. I learn better this way.

I loved doing this project! The lessons were easy to understand & follow along despite the complexity of the material and the fact that I am brand new to coding. The Slack group is also very helpful if you are ever stuck. I'm excited to continue my SheCodes journey after this!

I really enjoyed SheCodes React! React can be quite challenging, but the projects helped reinforce my learnings and I will continue working on both the Weather and Dictionary projects after this class. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in learning React.

I approached SheCodes immediately after graduating in Data Science. In my studies, I have known other programming languages ​​but I didn't know anything about web programming and I was curious to know if I might like it. I could have bought books or searched for free material on the internet, but I preferred to take a course that was simple but consistent. And I can confirm that it is a course suitable for anyone! Matt explains in a simple way and the learning is very gradual. I recommend it to anyone who wants to approach these topics, even if just out of curiosity. I had forgotten how much fun coding was .. 😊

This workshop enabled me to deepen my CSS skills and create a website that looks great on any device. Throughout the videos, challenges and final project I learnt more about advanced CSS techniques, SEO and design development. I enjoyed every bit of it!

I was feeling a little lost when my brother told me to try this. I decided to give it a go. I was surprised when I found I loved it. Because of that, I found a new passion... coding! I recommend this for everyone, especially if you're only starting and don't have a lot of knowledge. This course is amazing for beginners and Matt Delac is an excellent teacher. I really enjoyed SheCodes basic workshop for two main reasons: first it has been taught in a pretty simple way including great examples and explanations which made the learning process very sweet and interesting. It was also fun. I must admit that Matt Delac is truly a great teacher. I spent hours watching videos and didn't notice that it was passing so fast. Second, the assignments had been designed so well that let the students practice the lessons in a highly productive and challenging way. They had an impressive role to help me master what I had learned through workshop. In a nutshell, I am really pleased with the first workshop and so excited to go to the next stage…

Having completed the other SheCodes courses, I was very excited when this one was announced, and couldn't wait to sign up. The information around creating responsive layouts is a very helpful component when building sophisticated and professional-looking sites, and the introductory knowledge about SEO, what it is and how and why you should incorporate it into your site is something that a lot of people will find very useful. I have since gone on to look more into the web analytics side of things, but this course gave me an excellent start in this area. As always, Matt is an excellent teacher, and I highly recommend this SheCodes course to those looking to expand their coding and website-building skills.

The course was extremely interesting, I enjoyed working with APIs and GitHub. And the fact that the weekly homeworks were related to the final project was super helpful, this way I could finish the final project way sooner than I expected.

This is one of the best course I would suggest for every beginner in web development. The course was very systematic and was very effective.

Working for TikTok before and now, Asurion, sparked my interest in all things tech-related but mostly coding. The thing is, I didn't know where to start so I spent weeks and weeks looking for the perfect online coding class. Yes, there's a lot of free courses out there, but I know myself. Without proper structure and motivation, I'd simply fail. I was so glad then when I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram. I looked it up, went through each workshop's details to see which one fits me the most, read the testimonials, even checked out some of the alumni's LinkedIn profiles to make sure the reviews were legit. And it was. I just finished SheCodes Basics and couldn't be happier and more proud of myself. Matt is an amazing instructor--he's clear and explains things really well. As someone with minimal coding background, I was able to grasp everything Matt talked about easily. I also love that the lessons are structured and that each lesson is followed by challenges where I get to practice what I just learned.
