It is a great workshop to start with web development!
REACT was challenging and difficult to achieve at first. What impressed me was its potential, how you could use it to extract data from different sources and display it. The SheCodes team is amazing, always very attentive to our questions, and again, Matt explains everything so thoroughly that it makes the learning process lighter.

SheCodes Plus has been a huge challenge, but well worth it. Mat includes so much information in the lessons, but it's easy to absorb as parts of it are slowly recapped over time. So even if I found I didn't fully understand something the first time around, I constantly improved my skills throughout the workshop without being presently aware of it!
SheCodes Plus was very challenging but I learned a lot more about coding. Finishing the real-life project gave me a real sense of achievement. I still can't believe I made a working weather app! Thanks to Matt and of course the slack team for the immediate support!
What a great course to build on HTML, CSS and Javascript foundations! I actually have to use HTML, CSS and Javascript for work and I found that Weeks 1 and 2 were super helpful in getting across the fundamentals. Week 3 was putting everything into practice. Matt is super clear and really breaks down the principles in bite size chunks. I also really liked that I could do it at my own pace. Thanks SheCodes!

I LOVED SheCodes basic workshop.π I have never coded in my life and i have learned so much already! I have been coding until 1am just because I was so involved and excited. Matt explains everything so well its easy to pick it up and start coding. It is the best feeling to see your little code come to life in the browser! I bought the pro package so I can't wait to start the other workshops.! π€©
Easy to follow, fun to see a blank code sheet turn into an app that works. The trickiest part is was the words one wrong spelling can crash the whole thing. The teachers are very helpful as well.

This course is very useful and easy to understand! A lot of homework with deadlines motivates practicing new material. Being challenging but inspiring, it helped me to get things clear and persuaded me that coding can be fun ππ

As someone who had 0 knowledge of coding or tech in general, this course was really easy to understand. Matt's instructions and explanations of things were so great for a newbie. The lessons were very simple and easy to digest. When I was stuck on challenges the Slack channel was really helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and didn't expect to learn so much. Looking forward to starting my coding journey and will be planning on doing more courses with SheCodes!

I had lots of fun during this workshop! The language was clear and the friendly tone of Matt helped a lot to stay encouraged. The exercises along the steps helped me to consolidate the lessons and I also found that the workload is adequate for the basic level in question. Entirely fitted for understanding if this is something you'd like to pursue as a career and for sure I'll try to ingress in the next levels in the future.

Great course to follow even if your popping in and out. Lessons have enough repetition to embed knowledge but not too much to become confusing. The challenges are also clever that they have elements that havenβt been covered fully but link very closely with what has been taught. Really positive and enjoyable
Learning React has been really a challenge for me. I found JSX not very intuitive. Therefore, I consider completing the SheCodes' React class as a hard-earned skill. Matt's ability to present complex issues in a simple manner helped me definitely to stay on track and to finish the dictionary project which I am really proud of!
I experienced a lot of frustrating and challenging moments during this coding workshop but I also had so much fun! I felt really creative and happy that I could produce a really nice looking website as my final project.

I'll be honest: I was intimidated by the idea of learning to code for quite some time. I thought that because I am a clinician and work in healthcare, there would be no way that this would click with my background and skills. However, I was super surprised by how much fun I had doing this course! All of the lessons were very easy to absorb without feeling overwhelmed, and I loved that there were so many different ways for me to go back and review different concepts if I was stuck (e.g., videos, examples/models, support from staff, Slack). If any other women in my life ask about where to start with coding, I will be sure to refer them here.
In the short span of three weeks I feel more confident in my HTML, CSS, and Javascript coding skills. The course was well structured which made it easy to follow along and get assistance if needed as well. Ready to put these new skills to use and continue to learn more!

Hey everyone! It's so cool to be here. I have always loved technology but never felt I would be able to grasp coding. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and am a Crisis Counselor so I have zero experience in tech. I was always intimidated to take any computer courses as I felt I wouldn't fit in since tech is a male-dominated industry. When I found, "SheCodes" I was ecstatic! Although challenging, I found the material I learned valuable and fascinating. I hope to learn more!
Initially I was quite sceptical about this but I gave it a shot as I had nothing to loose and no I strongly recommend this workshop to all the ladies that were afraid that they are "too stupid" to code. NO girl, YOU CAN DO THIS! You set up your own pace and Matt explains everything down to the dot. The weekly assignments are simple but yet challenging. I came to this thinking that I can't code because it's too technical, too this, too that. Before I even finish my first week I had bought the React pack! My final project was an ode to unicorns and fully dedicated to my niece, so you learn to code AND get to be the best & favourite aunt π
I did it! Thanks for all the help! The Slack discussion board and everyone there was so helpful with tips and tricks and such a safe space to ask questions. I enjoyed whole experience. Looking forward to learning more!

This is my 3rd course at SheCodes, having previously taken the Basics and Plus course. As always: great teaching by Matt! This course was focused primarily on website design, and I definitely feel I've become more comfortable in using HTML and CSS. My advanced knowledge in these languages enabled me to build good-looking webpages in a faster and more efficient way.
After completing React framework part, I feel extremely pleased and ready to start applying for a job in this field. I am sending many thanks to the whole SheCodes team and Matt as a lead, who have helped me a lot during this journey to aquire all the basics of a frontend development!
I've always wanted to learn coding but felt it "wasn't for me" because it's such a male-dominated world. SheCodes made it feel accessible and fun! The courses are engaging, well organized and easy to follow, plus the activities and homework really cement your learning of the core concepts (far more effective than just watching a video). I can't wait to learn more!
SheCodes has provided such a great experience for a beginner coder! I loved being able to take the process at my own pace, watching the lessons whenever they best fit into my other commitments. Everything was taught clearly, with the Slack providing such a great community and library of previously-asked questions so I rarely got stuck for long. Definitely recommend!

Great course and my goodness so much to learn. Online courses can be a bit frustrating simply because you cannot just raise your hand and get immediate help. The waiting process to get help at times is several hours but I would still recommend this course.
WoW! What a journey this bootcamp has been! This has really challenged my coding knowledge in the best way. Matt explains everything, every step of the way. There was definitely more struggles this time around but I have grown from them through building an entire real-time weather application. I can say I am proud of the work I have done with this project and look forward to the next (Responsive then React)!

SheCodes Plus was an interesting and personal challenge. It is a great course with a lot of fascinating information and it depends on you the level of the goal you want to reach. Despite the complexity of the topics, Matt explains in an easy-to-understand way. I feel that this course raised my knowledge to a level that I did not think I could reach so soon and to be able to do so incredible things. I'm very excited to start the next one and get even better.
