An interesting add-on to Basics workshop. Very good, step-by-step guidance. I found this set of videos easier to follow, having done the Basics. Also, I've finally made use of AI Athena, which has improved the quality and efficacy of my learning experience. Great work, SheCodes team!

I can't always believe the progress I've made since i started taking the She Codes courses. From not knowing anything about coding to now being able to build my own projects. It has been an amazing journey for me and how i wish other women would take advantage of the opportunity too.

The responsive add-on course teaches you a few more techniques and allows you to dive even deeper into responsive by giving you the opportunity to build an entire responsive website from scratch. It allows you to use all of your previously acquired skills and put them into action. The course is definitely challenging but I like that you have the option to build your website alongside Matt or do it completely on your own without watching the videos in advance. It is a lot of learning but it is also a lot of fun to be able to build your own website and see it come to life on screens of all sizes.

A great introduction to the world of coding. The video tutorials were easy to follow and engaging and you could go at your own pace - no added pressure. i will definitely be doing the other workshop tiers if i get the chance!

I've really been loving this course. This has been such an insightful journey.
In this period, I learned about responsive design and how to create websites that display correctly on all devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop). I practiced key skills such as Flexbox, Grid, Media Queries, and optimization techniques for a better user experience. Now, I can design responsive web pages that are both beautiful and functional.
SheCodes Basic was a great way to clarify my understanding of these simple languages after years of interacting with code mostly for troubleshooting. The 3 week time frame was flexible and very manageable!

This one was not easy , I paused a lot but I joined a community of women in coding to keep my morale up and rewatched javascript lessons and finally managed to pull through. Even though i went beyond my deadline , this program is awesome in that you get several chances to keep trying .

I knew nothing as far as coding is concerned. However, after learning basics in HTML, CSS & JavaScript allowed me to develop webpage. As a beginner it was not easy it was challenging to solve problems nevertheless as I committed myself in doing the work I got the gist of it.
Project World Clock at SheCodes was a great learning experience! I improved my coding skills while building a functional tool that displays global time zones. A hands-on way to deepen frontend knowledge!

The learning materials in this course are incredibly helpful, and Matt's instructional videos are so clear and well thought out. Oftentimes I found myself asking "But what about..." only for him to later cover my question. The clear explanation, practical examples and Slack support make it a great starting point or refresher for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.

The workshop started out easy, but when we got to the javascript weeks it got a lot harder. When you take it slow and take care to understand every step of the way it's so worth it in the end though. I'm very proud of my project and had a lot of fun creating it. On to the next phase!

I started developing interest in coding when I realized how technology is surrounding us everywhere in every aspect and the endless possibilities it offers. My curiosity increased to know how websites are created and how they work in the backend. I have been using many software's at work in the human resources field and have always been curious about their functionality and improvements. This inspired me to learn coding and dive into this field. Having the power to create and bring your dreams to reality is a very powerful thing.

I was disappointed with this course as it did not meet my expectations. Despite raising concerns about the depth and relevance of the material, I found that the content was outdated and did not align with current advancements in AI and technology. Much of the information presented is widely known and easily accessible, making the workshop feel redundant rather than insightful. Given the fast-paced evolution of the tech industry, I expected more updated and practical knowledge. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this course to others, as it lacks value for professionals looking to stay ahead in the field

Taking the Basics addon course was a game-changer for me. The lessons were clear and thorough, providing practical exercises that allowed me to immediately apply what I learned. This made me realise that I've really come a long way and have learned quite a lot. I had a lot of "I remember this one" and now I see how everything is connected. I had fun so much fun!!
This week was a bit challenging and frustrating. I had to take a couple of breaks in between and get some balance between learning a new skill and understanding that; this is my first time coding, so being patient with myself as well. Overall, I am happy I made it through the week and submitted my project, and I feel good.
I was very sceptical when I started with Python, I was sure I will not enjoy this as much as learning about JavaScript. Well, here I am with a finished project and a new found love for Python. This was so fun and rewarding and Matt did a wonderful job as always explaining things in the best way and offering a lot of information on why and how we are using specific expressions. I would say this was my favourite workshop so far.
I really loved this Phyton course, I didn't had any experience in Phyton and I could follow all the classes and complete the challenges. Congrats to Matt and the whole team!
