The SheCodes program is one of the best online tech platforms I've ever come across. The coursework was clear and manageable to work through, the support from the mentors and peers was amazing, and the projects were very much hands-on which helped me to get to practice and apply what has been learned. I had an amazing experience building my AI Travel Itinerary Planner with SheCodes! Using Python and the SheCodes AI API, I developed an interactive tool that helps travelers plan road trips with customized itineraries, estimated costs, and real-time weather updates. This project allowed me to integrate AI-generated travel recommendations with real-world data, making trip planning seamless and fun. This part of the SheCodes workshop was quite a welcome challenge, I got to see the code come to life with both the API integration and hosting it on Netlify.When I got to the final project where I needed to add forecast data, it seemed quite daunting, but with the explanations given in the video tutorials by Matt I was able to find a way to make it work and understand it.
SheCodes Plus was great for me, I enjoyed learning about API's and how to integrate it into JS to make forecasts. I'm looking forward to learning even more coding. π

My favorite workshop by far! As someone in AI, but learning to expand my knowledge into the coding aspect, I found this workshop to be amazing. I love the Python language and I found this coding project fun. 10 out of 10!
Good basis of more technical knowledge. However I rated this poorly because you don't learn how to actually do the final project by yourself. Matt even says numerous times in the final week's videos that the skills needed aren't taught in the course and you'll need years of experiece to learn how to do properly.
Looking forward to creating new projects, learning new skills and tools, and writing clean code.
I am truly grateful for this section of my SheCodes journey, as it deepened my understanding of integration and working with different APIs. It has been an enriching experience that has expanded my skills and confidence in coding.

Overall, it was a very interesting and engaging experience. There is a lot more to it and that usually makes it feel overwhelming. However, after this course it didn't feel as if it is too much to handle, instead it felt like each small step counts towards the goal of acquiring a new set of skills.
