Easy to follow and execute, I've learned a lot in just 3 weeks. I love to puzzle to get it just right.
The course was a great way to dip my toes into the world of coding. The concepts were explained very well and the challenges were helpful to practice new skills. Would recommend it to anyone looking for an introduction to coding, especially if you're from a non-coding background.

The responsive workshop has been very challenging for me, I had to spent a lot of patience to work on the small details of my portfolio website. But I liked that Matt gives so much freedom to create your own personal website and at the same time gives many helpful and inspiring advices for the process!
I started with the basics and front-end development workshop, thinking that was all I needed but I am so glad I took the responsive workshop so my website looks great on every device! I am in school to be an XR developer so being able to make my own website and showcase my portfolio to future employers is very important for me.
I love learning new things and discovering how things 'work'. Coding has been on my to 'explore' list for a very long time, but I didn't know where to start. Most online courses seem to assume you have some kind of background in coding, and I didn't want to spend a small fortune or the time commitment required to attend a formal coding bootcamp, in case I didn't enjoy coding after all. I'm so glad I came across the SheCodes add on Instagram. In SheCodes Basics, Matt teaches the very basic fundamentals of coding, and slowly builds from there. He doesn't assume you know what he's talking about but takes the time to explain the concepts with lots of examples. I can't wait to continue learning and building on the knowledge and skills I've acquired from this course.

I really enjoyed SheCodes basic workshop. Matt's step by step videos are easy to follow and make learning to code really fun, simple and fulfilling. I even did a little cheer when I first made a button work with javascript, yay! π
The course was very easy to follow, and just challenging enough but not too challenging. It is absolutely possible to complete even if you have zero technical background. I thoroughly enjoyed learning useful skills that can directly transfer into a real-life job position.

I would highly recommend this course, the lessons are simple, short and sweet. The challenges and homework elements ensure you are putting what you learn into practice. The fact the course has deadlines to stick to (and cost actual $$) means you are motivated to continue, compared with free information online which is often difficult to source, digest and put into practice! Matt explains things really well and I am so pleased to have another item to add to my coding portfolio!
I did it! All four courses, what a wild ride it was and it was all thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team for making me absolutely love the whole process. The past 6 months in lockdown in Melbourne has been very productive and I think I nailed it so I'm definitely looking forward to more courses in the future as a very proud SheCodes alumni. I can't wait until I become one of the ladies who dm Matt one day about how I landed a front end developing role because of this platform. Watch out for a YouTube review video ;)

What exciting couple of weeks continuing my SheCodes journey and completing the SheCodes Plus workshop! π Learning how to use Bootstrap for structuring and changing the layout of webpages in an easier way, Git & GitHub for version control and Netlify for hosting webpages. I enjoyed the step-by-step process of building my own fully functional weather application, leaning how to use APIs and designing it the way I liked. Once again thank you Matt and team for the awesome workshop from which I learned lots! I would highly recommended the SheCodes Plus workshop for anyone who would like to learn more about Front-End Development. I am looking forward to continuing with the SheCodes Responsive workshop! π

I felt very uninspired and burnout at my current job position /IT Asset Analyst/ so I persuaded my boss to pay for SheCodes course. It was the best decision ever! Now I can learn new skills in my working time and I am sure that once I will get the final certificate from advanced part I would be able to leave that boring job behind and deep dive into coding where I have much more space for creativity :) I would recommend SheCodes to every woman, cause it gives you not only coding skills but general view into logic, problem solving and collaboration with community online.

I had tried coding before in high school, and had difficulty understanding, so was a bit apprehensive about coding. After having attended the free workshop, it gave me the courage to try one more time. This coding introduction workshop makes coding easy to understand, and allows complete beginners to get first steps into coding!
I`m so glad I started this program. I used to think that coding was intimidating but now that I understand it better I feel like I can master it in time.

I learned a lot within these three weeks. This course provided a sound basis/an introduction to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I could directly apply what I learned to my daily work, including improving communication with front end developers. I can't wait to get started with the advanced courses! π

Before starting this workshop,I had some html/css/java knowledge. Following the basics workshop helped me to bring structure to what I already knew. I had quite some fun following it and working on the homeworks and more specifically on the final project!

SheCodes Plus course was a big adventure! Sometimes the tasks were very complex, but thanks to Matt I managed to understand everything (at least I hope I did ;)). I am very proud of the weather app I built and can't wait for the next course. React I'm coming! :D

It's amazing the amount that you learn over a short time. Looking at the project that I developed during SheCodes Basics, I would never have thought I could develop something like a responsive website with multiple pages, but I have!
Some parts were fun. Some parts were challenging. I enjoyed the teaching style and I think that the course sets you up with some fundamental tools and knowledge to go forward with and build on. I highly enjoyed the course and the support was wonderful. Thank you shecodes crew!

I've been interested in a career change and a friend mentioned learning to code. I honestly wasn't sure what that entailed exactly but I'm glad I stumbled upon SheCodes. I completed the 3 week course and it was a great introduction to coding and I am really looking forward to diving deeper in the more advanced courses.
When I started SheCodes, I was in the middle of a career transition as a new mom and I had no idea what to expect. Would I like coding? Would this be something I could make into a career or profitable side hobby/job? I took the free 60-minute pre-course and right away I loved Matt's teaching style. I signed up for the Basic class and became so obsessed I completed it in a week! Now, I have completed my fourth and final (hopefully for now) course and have decided to go full-time into the tech industry. Thanks to SheCodes I was able to start my own freelance business (Tsunoda Stylings) and help train new graduates looking for job experience to put on their resumes. This has been one of the most challenging but rewarding training workshops/camps I have been through and I would do it all over again. I can't recommend SheCodes enough and I thank you for giving me the opportunity to push to start this new journey of mine.
Coding is HARD and this workshop breaks it down into manageable steps you can follow along and before you know it, you've built an app!

I have learned so much being a part of SheCodes. After completing SheCodes Basics, I went on to sign up for SheCodes Plus, and I plan to finish Responsive and React! I am constantly amazed at how much I have learned and how I have grown. I started out with no coding knowledge or experience and can now read, write, and understand code. Matt is such a great teacher! I absolutely love how he breaks down each new concept and how each lesson builds on the other.
This coding journey with SheCodes for me was amazing: I learned so many programs so quickly. Now I feel ready to continue exploring new territories when it comes to computer science, even if that is not my background. Truly empowering.

I love the website interface actually :) That's why i open this website everyday, like wow i love it's so clean :)) Also, i could say that the source codes help me to learn a lot. Whenever i busy with my routines, i could learn and refresh my lessons through the source codes, so it won't waste my time :) I also love that every single module has its own challenges, so this is LITERALLY a hands-on workshop. This is definitely a fun and pleasant workshop to attend as an introduction to coding. I wanted to know just a bit more on how coding works to relate to the day to day programs I am using at work, SheCodes definitely delivered on that. I really loved the 3 weeks spent on the Basics course! It was well paced and Matt was a great teacher. He broke down the concepts into digestible short videos that were easy to follow. The challenges allows us to apply what was learnt immediately after which helps to consolidate the learning as well as address any misunderstandings of how the function works!
