I appreciated the "go at your own pace" approach to this workshop, and that it truly focused on the basics. I feel like I have a better high level understanding of the role of a coder.
The React course was really great, although probably took me more than 5 hours a week to complete. But it was fun and I learned a lot.
everything was perfect the challenges that I had to do after each lesson made me try harder and that was awesome I didn't know so much about js and now I feel so confident and happy
I'm a 23-year-old college 'dropout' who was lost about the career I wanted to pursue in my future. After discovering what computer programming really consisted of, and starting to learn it by myself, I found SheCodes and I am so thankful that I did. The community and resources available here are a blessing and Matt is a fantastic instructor, and I am excited for my future in the programming space.
SheCodes has been fantastic! The videos explain each part just enough to understand what to do, but doesn't give away every detail so you have to figure out somethings on your own. Matt is a great teacher! The timeline for each week is perfectly spaced out. I was able to spend just over 5 hours each week on my assignments. I ended up spending a lot longer on my final project by choice! I'm so happy to have found this class and I can't wait to sign up for the next workshop!
This course was broken down into manageable chunks that made it easy to stay on top of what had been taught! By the end of this three week course I feel like I have received a very comprehensive introduction to coding and am interested in learning more.
This 5-week workshop gave me so much knowledge and confidence to develop beautifully scalable web applications. I'm beyond excited to take my skills into practice with my first real project for a customer!

Thanks to SheCodes, I learned how to make a website responsive for all devices. This course make the whole process of building responsive website seem so intuitive and simple. I loved all the tutorials of this course just like the previous SheCodes courses. I feel more confident as I learned this important skill with SheCodes and I built a very nice portfolio so easily as my final project. so I put all my projects in my portfolio to showcase them all at once.

SheCodes is a great way to learn how to code even if you have no prior knowledge!
Prior to this course, I had zero experience with coding. I always thought it was something really hard to learn. I tried to learn by myself but the online class I was taking had no support, it was hard to keep myself motivated. I heard about SheCodes in an online group of women in tech, I did some research and I decided to give it a try. I am very happy that I made the decision to try one more time with SheCodes, I have all the support I need when I get stuck at some part of my code, the lessons are direct and short, very well put together! I am excited to continue on this journey.
What a journey this has been, from learning the basics to being able to create applications in React. This course was mentally challenging and equally rewarding. I will miss Matt's tutorials and forever enjoy re-visiting lessons when I'm stuck!
SheCodes is a great environment to learn how to code. I've never felt this confident that I would walk away from a workshop with a completed portfolio.
SheCodes Basics has been such an enjoyable experience. I started with very little knowledge of coding and learned so much along the way. Matt is an excellent instructor and his team are readily available should you have any questions. I can't remember a uni assignment I enjoyed as much as our final project. If you're on the fence, just do it!
SheCodes Plus was really challenging workshop. There were days when I got really frustrated with coding, but as Matt always says you've got to take some time off and try laterπ€I am really happy to have started this coding journey with SheCodes team. I really enjoyed SheCodes BASICS, from knowing almost nothing about HTML/CSS and JavaScript to being able to build a basic webpage, the journey is really rewarding!

It's been an absolute blast to take this course. Matt makes it so easy and he explains everything in a very pedagogical way. Fun fact: as an engineer I had a very short introduction to Python a few years ago, and I thought it was incredibly boring. Never ever had I thought that I (willingly) would take a coding course in the future. But here I am, and this course have been nothing like my previous experience. All of a sudden coding is extremely fun and I just want to learn more and more. I guess that's the difference between a really good teacher and a not so good one. Now I'm looking forward to taking SheCodes Pro that I will start with on Monday!
Im 19 years old, recently moved on my own to Berlin which has been a dream come true, but I have had some frustrations with job applications/CVs. I made the decision of starting something new. Mostly, because of work opportunities but also to start a more serious journey. SheCodes has helped a lot and Im very excited to see whats next and be able to code in a professional way!
I was always doubted to start coding, but I have to confess this course was one of the best learning experiences in my whole life! I found this course very helpful as a beginner to coding. The workshops were easy to understand and I loved that they included Matt troubleshooting as he went when things didn't work. I am feeling very confident about my new skills and can't wait to implement them in future projects.
I highly recommend this course, it was easy to follow and I did not encounter any difficulties. The content is easy to learn and in little time I was able to build pages which work well in any screen size (this is the meaning of responsive). The idea of building a page showcasing all your previous projects is great and SheCodes gives you many materials and ideas so you are not alone in this. I am proud of the page I built and hope it will help to promote my work.
SheCodes was a great way to learn coding. The setup makes it really easy to balance with a full-time job and work at my own pace week to week.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning something new and taking a chance on this coding course. I think coding is going to be an important skill to learn in the future and a lot more people should join in, especially women. It takes some patience and logical steps to understand the concepts of coding, but anyone can really learn it!

After doing the Basic Workshop, I already knew I was going to like it. But it's really unbelievable to me what I've learned in 8 weeks. I wouldn't have thought that I could programme a weather app in such a short time.

I am looking to change careers after 11 years in the retail business. I found this workshop on Facebook. Before finding SheCodes, the thought of going to a coding bootcamp was very intimidating. I didn't know a single thing about coding or if I would even be good at it, so I was hesitant to fork over several thousand dollars to find out. When I lost my job in COVID, I knew I needed to make a career change. I started looking into different coding bootcamp/workshop options and saw that SheCodes had a free intro class! In that first session all my questions were answered and I realized while Matt was live coding that this was something I was totally capable of. The next day I signed up for SheCodes basics and I am so glad I did! I just completed the course and will be moving on to SheCodes Plus :) SheCodes has put me on the path to a brighter future and I am so grateful!

I literally knew NOTHING about computers. I had to borrow one to do the course. I am BLOWN AWAY that now, in just 3 short weeks, I know some html, css, and java script!! The classes are very explainatory (Before i joined, I always thought coding was very complicated and thought I wouldn't be able to undertand), But, Shecodes not only helped me understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, they also made sure I didn't get stuck by providing a channel (Slack), where Students like me, get to ask questions after a lesson, or while coding. I enjoy coding (I cosider it to be art π) and was amazed at what i could build after three weeks. Thank you Matt Delac, and everyone at Shecodes for making this possible. Cant't wait to learn more π.
