This is my second experience with SheCodes, and was amazing. I was able do learn so much more, in a few months. Was a bit hard to keep a full time job and the course at the same time, but it was flexible enough, and i was able to finish.
If Iβm being honest, you can definitely find similar courses online at a fraction of the cost, you can even find good courses for free. What sets shecodes apart is the added homework projects. They will motivate you to code everyday because there are real deadlines to work to. Also having a community of likeminded women to collaborate with and learn from is encouraging. To conclude this course will get you from knowing nothing to actually coding a working albeit basic website.
I've started my coding journey out of curiosity if I could do it and with the help of SheCodes it quickly really became a hobby and passion of mine. I enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop so much, even though it was challenging I wouldn't miss it for the world. Matt is a great teacher and the course structure really is thought through very well!
I feel like I learned so much in the Responsive Workshop. The responsive workshop has really taken my skills to a new level in making sure that my products fits multiple devices. Can't wait to learn React next! Thank you Matt Delac and the entire SheCodes team.
Super quick & smooth flow through the different programming languages. Matt's explanation was easy to follow and the assignments were a lot of fun!
honestly, this has been the longest period that I stuck to a program and it kept me quite motivated. all the messages make you feel like you've become part of a family.
I had so much fun in this 3 week workshop. Matt is an amazing teacher, he really breaks down the process in a way that makes coding a lot easier to understand he makes it feel less intimidating. It's a great way to get your feet wet so to speak and see if coding is right for you. I am fully committed to learning this new skill set and feel very confident that If I continue with living and breathing all things coding I will reach my goal of becoming a web developer in the next 6 months. It took me a lot longer to finish this workshop. But finally did it! I have definitely learned more about JavaScript than before, and I will continue to learn it. I also enjoyed this workshop although it was challenging at times.
Before this course, I was looking to develop new hard skills for my career. I signed up for this course on a whim, never having had ANY prior experience nor exposure to coding. I truly had no idea what to expect. So I told myself "let me just try this and see where it goes". And it was one of the best decisions I've made for my self-development! Matt is an excellent teacher, and he balances just the right amount of teaching & challenging you to find your own answers. At times, I got very frustrated with learning Javascript in particular (it honestly looked like gibberish at first), but like learning any new language, it comes more naturally with time and repetition. This course was very empowering, and has opened up a whole new world for me. I had so much fun! I highly recommend to any women looking to develop new skills for their current career, or women even considering a career change. I also highly recommend if you're a creative person that enjoys problem solving. Thank you, Matt and SheCodes team!

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction into the world of coding!
I loved the workshop! I felt like it went by so fast, and yet I learned so much. I'm really excited to continue learning more and grow my skills.
SheCodes has taught me how to code quicker than any other course I have ever taken. I was able to build my basics final project in confidence using the tools and resources provided and I have upgraded to the Pro course. I cannot wait!
SheCodes Responsive was a challenge to complete but ultimately it ties everything together which is exciting to see how far I've come in my coding journey.
I am a woman who wears so many hats, and the way the course is structured is perfect for me. The chapters are not overwhelming, and Matt is a very good teacher. Community support is also a big plus as if you're stuck; it doesn't take long to get help. The assignments are very practical applications of the concept discussed in each chapter. I had to extend my classes many times because of different circumstances, and the program was flexible enough to finish the course at my own pace. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn how to code. I am looking forward to my next workshop, SheCodes Plus! π

I absolutely love the SheCodes workshops. I am a single mother of two preschoolers, so I did not want to take on a full work load of going back to school. However, Matt made the SheCodes workshops super easy and fun; and has opened up a world of new possibilities. I encourage all women to give it a try.

This was a comprehensive introduction to React. Apprehending the new knowledge was frustrating at some points, but it's worth to go through and see the results. I like that it is project-based and in the end you have your opus to show off.
It was a challenging workshop when your working fulltime, and have normal things going on in life,( unexpected events, people, things) happening in life, but all that being said it was fascinating, learning the different languages, and what your able to do with them. I want to continue my journey with coding, but now with a more realistic view of what it going to take, and you need to carve out more time then what is said for the programs, I timed myself every week for the 3 week course, and even though it says 5 hours, it ended up being closer to 10 hours per week, and 5 for the last week. Matt did a good job, although some of the courses I feel like he went a little to fast for beginner level learners. All in all I enjoyed this process.
SheCodes is really great i cannot believe what i have been able to learn. Javascript has always been a roadblock for me but the trainer Matt has helped me see them as pebbleπ. I am grateful to the Delac Foundation!
The best 3 weeks ever. Never knew I would have so much fun learning coding. SheCodes changed my mind about coding as i have a zero knowledge about it . I was able to get along easily with Matt's explanations . Thanks for this amazing workshop and will absolutely sign up for the next workshop!
I loved taking this course. The videos were short but informative and everything was easy to understand. The challenges made sure I understood the concepts in each lesson and I had a lot of fun with the weekly homework and especially the project. I can't believe how much I learned in such a short time. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get an introduction to coding!

It was intimidating for me to start learning programming after I had a bad experience with it in my university classes. SheCodes is very fluent and easy to learn from, and I am eager to learn more.

I really appreciate how the lessons are broken up and how the videos are structured. They are all a reasonable length and easy to understand. Even though this course is just an intro into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I feel like I learned a lot and I am definitely interested in taking additional courses.
When I decided to transition into tech, I had no idea where to even begin. I didn't know how vast the field was. Im thankful for Matt and his team for creating this workshop. Very easy and fun to interact with, especially for those who didn't have any development experience (like myself). This workshop definitely gives you an idea of what to expect, the very basics of front/back end development. I love the message behind the workshop! This was a fun journey, even though I had to stop a couple of times. However, the explanation was so great, that once I picked up where I left off, it was like I never stopped. I love how the lessons were broken down for a total beginner. The sequence of skills and tasks were logical and accessible. I also appreciated the tips on best resources to problem-solve. There is also some flexibility with the deadlines which I definitely needed. All in all, I would highly recommend SheCodes!

I've always been interested in coding but never thought I will be able to do it! All the lessons are really easy to understand and easy to follow :) I'm really happy I signed up for this course because I enjoyed a lot working on every project through the course!
Teacher Matt tried to teach many things but definitely not enough to do the final project. Obviously teacher knows this very well so he technically led the students to build the weather app step by step, for the last 2 weeks. He'll say "Let's do this, and this, then this..." I followed his steps and copied his code line by line and then finally it worked, of course. But to do it again all by myself? Definitely no way. It is like you learnt how to do the math, then even one-dimensional linear equation, but the final test is calculus. Teacher knows you can't do it so he writes the answer on the blackboard, and says "okay this is quite challenging but if you learn React it is much easier." Seriously? To sell senior class to a totally confused student?
I had a lot of fun with SheCodes! I work in the IT industry and my goal was to understand what generally coding is about. The basic workshop met my expectations even more than imagined. Really considering SheCodes Plus in the future!

SheCodes Basics has been fantastic! I have learnt so much, and have been really inspired with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The course was really engaging and fun, I loved doing the challenges and projects.
I've been learning so many different coding courses online but only SheCodes workshops keep me going and completely build up my skills. Although there're barely any interactions between the instructor and the student, all lessons are well prepared and delivered. I remember trying to memorise every elements in the very first lesson and now I can build a webpage on my own! It doesn't look so complicated but that's my work, that's how I develop throughout 3 weeks and needless to say, I'm so proud of myself πββοΈ
Such a fun and engaging course. The team were wonderfully helpful and I can't wait to hopefully get started on the next stage!

This class was so fun! I was able to learn so much about coding and really build some great skills. This class exposed a new area of study that was really interesting AND fun!
I learned so much during this course. I wasn't sure I was able to grasp it all, but Matt made it really easy to understand and broke down each concept. I was able to build on the Basics course and learn more advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript while also learning about API and Hosting. I can't believe I made a weather app from scratch that actually uses real data!
I truly believe that this course has helped me out in learning more about coding. It is a remarkable course. I have learned a lot from these past few weeks. I am very please with the results that I have been seeing. Looking forward to all of the new lessons.

The workshop was great. I had a small amount of coding knowledge going into it, but definitely learned way more than I knew and have better clarity on what to focus on next! The videos had plenty of tips and tricks to help guide you along the way, and if I got stuck, a team member or fellow student was quick to answer and take a look at my code for where I was making a mistake! I was very appreciative of this feature as many websites do not have this! Overall, I would recommend! I now look at webpages in a completely new light!
