Having come across SheCodes through a platform I belong to on facebook (Portfolio 9 Community), I got so interested because I love to task my creativity in diverse areas of specialization. I cannot thank God enough for connecting me to SheCodes. All through the learning process, I was amazed at the simplicity of coding and with the help of the team members in putting me through when I get stuck, I must commend you all. I appreciate the instructor, Matt Delac for the opportunity to learn coding for Free. I cannot take it for granted. God bless you Sir.
I had been putting "Learn to code" on my resolutions for the past two or three years, but I would start and immediately get annoyed when I did not understand something. It always felt like they call it a beginners course but it really wasn't, so I felt defeated most of the time. But, with SheCodes, I felt like the structure of the courses and the way lessons are conveyed is so easy to understand, and the transitions from one topic to the other are so smooth. This was quite life-changing because now, I feel that I get how programming works, and the things that seemed abstract before, now make sense. On top of that, there is round the clock help in case you need it, this is something I haven't found with other online courses either. So absolutely, I recommend this platform.
I loved learning the basic of coding and can't wait for future workshops. I feel accomplished in what I was able to learn through this journey.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes workshop. I had very basic HTML + CSS knowledge and the workshop has taken me to the next level. I learned more than I expected and would recommend it to anyone!
I was afraid to learn how to code because I had always thought coding was intimidating but taking this beginners course had helped me realized that coding is very fun and anyone is capable of learning the basics! I loved every moment of it, and I plan on taking more courses to further my learning.
this is pretty amazing , all these challenges pushed me to code and learn lots of things, all want to work on this app more to make it more functional after completing other workshops.
I really had fun learning the API integration and hosting my very own app on Netlify. It was really challenging sometimes but couldn't be more happier with the outcome.
The learning platform is super interactive and the pace is perfect! There's always someone ready to answer questions (and even if you don't have questions, reading through others' and their answers is very useful!). All this made learning the basics of coding a breeze :)

Matt is a good teacher. You can feel he is passionate about coding in his teaching. (no teacher can be better than one who loves what he's doing!) Class content is well-structured and -designed, one thing at a time, many practical techniques are taught. The way how each specific code works is explained clearly.
SheCodes Responsive is an imperative tool to move forward in the coding journey.
Not going to lie... this was hard! I never expected the struggle that goes into making websites fully responsive, and I am so proud to have accomplished it! Shout out to all the devs out there whose work is often underestimated, I see you!

SheCodes is different from other options I’ve tried because of the community behind it, plus Matt is a great teacher. The course was practical and easy to follow, explanations were clear. I also like how it was broken into short videos so I can do them at a time convenient and I wasn't sitting through long sessions.

Small steps make the course feel easy until you look back and see how far you've come. Matt never assumes you know anything, going through every stage thoroughly. You never feel left behind and the tutors in the Slack chat are always happy to help you out if you really get stuck.
I learned so much in the last few weeks! Never would have thought, that I could "read" a code and understand what it does and also be able to write a code that actually works, in such a short time.

This course was fun, and sort of fast paced, but formulated where it is understandable by all learning types. I had a lot of fun with the projects, even though sometimes I felt overwhelmed. Great experience working with other like-minded women! Can't wait for what comes next in my coding journey!
SheCodes is a great platform for all students and professionals. Although the courses are pre-recorded, the amount of live support you get from peers and instructors are amazing! SheCodes makes it easy for those with personal and work responsibilities continue to learn without feeling overwhelmed.

I'm very glad I took this course, it was more user-friendly than I had expected and I am impressed with the challenges, homework, and final product. The course was easy to fit into my hectic and busy schedule and I was not sure I'd be able to finish, but the bite-sized lessons really made it manageable! I also liked how the deadlines kept me going, that was definitely necessary :). I would be interested in taking more advanced courses!

I really enjoyed the setup and organization of this course. The fact that it was at your own pace and the lessons were broken up made it manageable with a full-time job. When something in my code wasn't working, I used the Slack channel and was able to find the same question and a solution! Everything I learned in this course was valuable and it was fun to create my own page as the final project!
Getting a SheCodes challenge done was the few minutes of the day I was most looking forward to in the past three weeks! The instructor and his instructions were excellent, and the team on slack were the nicest! Thanks SheCodes team for the amazing experience you have provided for the women living in developing countries!
I loved this workshop. I created a weather app from scratch which was awesome. I learned to use a lot of amazing features of javascript and I enjoyed every minute doing so. Totally recommend this one.
I really enjoy coding and I would have never known how much, if SheCodes didn't provide the free coding class and different workshops for different needs! It's a friendly and welcoming environment without the harsh judgment of outside people and giving women a space to learn coding.
I had no idea what to expect when I thought of learning a framework but each lesson was easy to follow, I've learnt a lot and it's been a fun journey :)
Been taking this program alongside another Bootcamp program and trust me, Matt gave me such an easy time all along. As a matter of fact, I used this module's challenges to practice some of the things I could not understand in my Bootcamp. I'd highly recommend this program to anyone. Did I say, anyone? yes! Especially beginners.
I really enjoyed this module of the SheCodes program. It was really fun to start thinking about the ways in which you can make a website you host responsive, rather than just having it remain stagnant and run the risk of it looking less than ideal in the mobile-sphere. Overall, I would recommend it.

Super fun and well-structured course! I finally feel like I know what I'm doing while using HTML and CSS, and because of this I was able to use my creativity and design my own website. It can be really frustrating when something breaks, but so satisfying when you get it to work again. I definitely had trouble with JavaScript in SheCodes Plus so I'm excited to get more practice in with React. Thanks Matt!
With this course I was able to create a website integrated with responsive behavior, how to build it SEO friendly and also learn more about Bootstrap.
I have had a lot of fun coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through this introductory workshop of SheCodes. I have learned not only about coding, but I also had the chance to play with visualization for my homework as well as my final project. Matt's instruction is quite easy to understand and follow up. I hope that I will have a lot more fun with my upcoming workshops on SheCodes.

I've always felt like a have a thing for coding but never actually had the courage or time to explore this passion, until I found SheCodes! The lessons are brief, so neatly organized, logically flowing from one concept to the next. Matthieu's explanatory videos are very clear and make it easy to learn this new language. The challenges at the end of each lesson are also really fun! I think I'll be continuing this journey with more advanced courses with SheCodes.
I'm so glad that I started this coding journey with SheCodes! I truly believe that anyone can gain an understanding of programming through this course. Matt's teaching style was great, especially for visual learners.

I enjoyed participating in the SheCodes Basics workshop. Before signing up for the SheCodes React workshop package I looked around at a lot of different virtual learning options and was more drawn to the overall look and feel of SheCodes. I like that it seems approachable. That may feel small to someone more experienced, but for me it made all the difference. The lessons are broken down into easily digestible subsections, are very concise, and build upon the prior lesson so one gains a cumulative skillset without even acknowledging it. Additionally, Matt is easy to listen to and unintentionally funny. Having open access to the SheCodes slack channels is also an amazing learning tool. It's easy to get caught up and bogged down in the minutiae of whatever one may be building/debugging. Reading thru the slack and testing other people's code can help one to look at their own project differently with new eyes. I'm honestly really proud of what I made for this final project with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Great course. I't my first time writing a code, and thanks to the way the training is delivered, I able to understand it and solve the challenges.
SheCodes has definitely been so enjoyable, I started the workshops for my love of tech and women empowerment. And I got that and more. For someone who has a Marketing degree and no experience in coding, Matt's learning style makes even a beginner feel welcomed, and the content easy to digest.
SheCodes was a great opportunity to get some hands-on experience with projects. It was a well-structured course that was both educational and fun to complete.

I started learning to code a few months ago and I can not believe how much I have learned in just a few weeks! The topics in the videos are perfectly broken down, Matt is a great teacher and makes everything so understandable, and the Slack community is a great help. It is a lot of hard work, and I have both cursed and cried during the past 8 weeks. But the feeling when everything finally works is so rewarding and makes it all worth it! I can't wait to start the React workshop and see where all this takes me!
Great course! I come from an entirely different field (HR) and this course has given me the confidence to take on a career change. I found myself excited to learn and obsessing over coding! It's so much fun to learn and be creative.
I was worried to start studying coding because I'm coming from a completely different area (physiotherapy). But the way the platform works and Matt teaches make me believe I'm capable of changing my career path. I'm finishing SheCodes Basic and I'm excited to start SheCodes Plus and continue my studies.
This course was a very good experience to feel more confident about coding, even if it is a basic course. I'd already studying HTML, CSS but it's my first time learning JavaScript, and I was too scared to start this part. The lessons were well explained, so I found the bugs quicker than I expected.
