I had a bit of a rough beginning but the way Matt explains things made everything so much easier and smoother. I cannot recommend doing all of the workshops enough! If you're reading this, you're reading this for a reason and I'm telling you to put your money into education and go learn with Matt!
I really enjoy my first steps with SheCodes workshops. The way Matt explains every lesson is fun and it really fits my style. Hope that next lessons will be even better and my road to become frontend developer will be the greatest journey! :)

SheCodes gave me confidence to start learning to code from (total!) scratch and an excitement for each new lesson! I'm a violin teacher by trade and an amateur ballet dancer for my hobby, but I was looking for something "Left-Brained" to challenge me to go out of my comfort zone and try something new. Matt made it a stress-free environment to learn in, and each lesson was so easy to follow, though challenging! Thank you SheCodes! I'm starting the next level tomorrow.

When I started This workshop I felt overwhelmed . like there's tons of things that i need to learn in order to get things done. But when I started week 2 , it got more and more interesting and I've seen a big progress while working on the first project and the last 2 projects. Can't Wait to start The next Workshop !!!!
The second part of the Plus program was good, even though I preferred the first part as it was more thorough in the explanations. I still learnt a lot and I am very excited for my future and next steps in the coding world!
This is really a great introduction to coding! I've gotten an appetite for learning more. It's not too much or too little, but the perfect amount if you want to 'sniff it out'. I exceeded the recommended weekly work hours of 5 though each week, as I kept wanting to learn and understand more - not complaining though, haha!

I can't tell you how awesome SheCodes is, You should enroll workshops then you'll know what am I talking about. if you wanna start front-end development you've found the right place. Matt teaches you as well as possible, It's gonna be a fun journey and also full of learning. Along side the lessons you have access to a wonderful support team that you can ask your questions and as soon as possible you end up finding your way.
I can't believe it! One more step completed! I'm proud of myself for having been able to build a weather app in the space of a month. I can only thank Matt and his team for the content-filled and very appealing classes. I have to confess that it was not easy, sometimes I had to stop, go for a walk and get some fresh air. But if it was easy it wouldn't be so fun :) Ready to start the next workshop!
Previously I tried to educate myself on learning how to Code from other Website, but unfortunately I found the information given was very overwhelming and I believed to myself that maybe I'm just not cut out to learn this set of skills, until I came across SheCode where they offered a Basic Course that is offered at a reasonable price, just to figure out whether this is something I could learn or not, and it figures out that I am capable! The Project was so much fun!!
This course was challenging, but fun! I never thought I would be able to code a weather app on my own and although it did take a while, I would find myself gladly spending hours into the night just coding. The reward of getting code to work was worth it.
I loved this course! Would recommend to anyone who is interested in learning about basics. It was so enjoyable and I learned a ton!
SheCodes is so interactive and entertaining! It pushes you to go beyond the basics and really challenge yourself to see what you can do.

I'm a single mom, so I have very limited time and focus to study. I have never been good with technology, and I had always thought coding involved math. Matt makes coding super easy and understandable. the challenges are manageable and relevant. I recommend this camp to anyone and everyone I meet.
Matt's instructions are very easy to follow, and the assignments are flexible enough to fit into even the most rigid of schedules. I'm hoping to take the next course.
A lot more challenges than basics workshop which helped me to learn more about javascript. The most interesting part for me was the API integration which made coding much more fun.

Hi, coding is new for me and this experience has been a really fun one. I never thought I'd have fun doing and learning coding as I have tried it before using different platforms and so far this has been the one I found most effective for myself in learning.
As a web designer I have been searching for online workshops that suited me and were useful at the same time, that is how I found SheCodes workshops. They were very useful, helpful and now I know how the backend works. I still have a lot to learn but it was a good way to start my journey into the developing area.
SheCodes Responsive is both challenging and rewarding. I would recommend this workshop to anybody who wants to keep learning to code.

I am really happy with my improvement and I love the process that I have gone through until now. Every challenge helped me a lot to be more creative to use all the knowledge that I have learnt before.
I have just completed my third week at SheCodes and I feel I have learned so much about coding that I can't imagine how much I'm going to be able to do finishing the workshop. For this project, we were asked to create a landing page for something we are passionate about, and for me is entrepreneurship. So I decided to create the first page on an idea that had been rounding my mind. I'm so happy about all the skills I'm developing and how that's going to impact my professional career + how I'm going to better help the startups I work with.
I was happy to find SheCodes during a difficult time in my life: after I lost my job, and wanting to up-skill for my career as a graphic designer. I’d always thought about learning to code...but never made time for it during school, and didn’t know how or where to start learning on my own. SheCodes courses offered quick, straightforward, and nicely segmented workshops. I worked on projects at my own pace, with weekly benchmarks to keep me on track for my final projects. If I needed extra help, members of staff, and the SheCodes community, were always friendly and available for questions or help with my projects. I’ve taken several of their courses (Basics, Advanced, Responsive) and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn coding from scratch!
Finished my third SheCodes Workshop since December 2021. This one was by far my favorite! I loved learning how to make pages responsive and how to check that a page looks good on mobile devices. I think it is so helpful for any projects moving forward.

I enjoyed this course a LOT. I had tried other workshops in the past that would cover similar subjects but the language used (along with the type of interaction, if there is any), is catered for people that were slightly more familiar with the subjects (i.e. "Target the class" - but I never knew what classes were), in other words, it was never for beginners-beginners, as I felt. This course gave me an intro to coding that I didn't feel lost in, and I feel confident to apply my skills beyond my comfort zone :)
I really liked to learn more about JavaScript and API for building application! Looking forward for react workshops :-)
I had lots of fun! it's in-depth enough to understand html/CSS & basic JavaScript functions. For me, it's just dipping into becoming a front-end developer so I can't wait to learn more in the next workshops.
This program was so fun! I had no clue about coding and especially not if it was something one could enjoy, however, after this course I love it! It was so easy to learn with the step-by-step videos, and when there was something I didn't understand, I got on Slack and got help almost immediately. Can't wait to start the next course!

Another great course! You learn so much in these workshops that at the end of your project you think there is nothing more to learn. However starting SheCodes+ taught me that there is still so much more to go and Matt continues to teach in a friendly approachable manner that is easy to follow and understand. The Responsive workshop was my favourite so far! It was tailored in such a way to provide us with all the tools necessary to build a multi-page website from scratch. Everything was very clearly explained by the instructor Matt and the SheCodes team was very supportive. Classes have been easily simplified to help a beginner easily understand. I have enjoyed my classes so far. I have had a few challenges here and there as a beginner but with lots of practice , I will surely gain the skills needed.

Before SheCodes, I'm a total beginner in coding. I tried to learn coding in Python years ago but I end up giving up because I couldn't understand why I'm doing these only by reading books. During 3 weeks of workshops, Matt has explained everything step by step, patiently guiding us and we don't need to worry about getting stuck since we could ask for help on Slack. SheCodes has such a warm community and I am willing to upgrade to attend more workshops with Matt! With SheCodes, I'm not alone.
I can't believe I've put off learning coding till now! I truly enjoyed every step of the SheCodes Basics course. While it was challenging at times, it was also really rewarding. Matt's use of analogies and detailed explanations were particularly helpful and everyone and their dog should get on this!

I was a bit sceptical at first because I thought it would be something complex and difficult to understand, as I have been struggling to learn html and css. This course helped me understand the basics in a simple and concise way. Matt is a great instructor and I have already learned a lot. The courses are well structured, easy to understand and fun, which is important to me.
I was out of work for a while and decided to try my hand at coding. I'm glad I did! I checked out a couple of different online workshops before deciding that SheCodes was the one for me. The instructions and solutions are very in-depth and it is very useful to be able to practice everything on my own. Also, the access to other coders is valuable. I'm taking a liking to Front End Development so far and look forward to continuing my journey with SheCodes. 😁

The workshop content is fun yet challenging! I definitely spent more time debugging my code than in Basics -- this gave me the opportunity to see where I was overcomplicating and where to simplify. I also really appreciated the instructor's tips on how to build/design code efficiently and for walking through how to plan/execute a project from start to finish!
This was such a great learning experience for someone with no coding experience. It was challenging at times, but the structure of the classes, the informational videos, slack support, and various resources made it all come together. The final project really put all of the learning into perspective. Thanks for creating a wonderful learning experience.
This workshop has been my favorite yet! I love working with JavaScript React; it has so much potential. I was a bit intimidated going in as I heard JavaScript React is hard. However, Matt has excellent and easy-to-follow explanations. Matt makes things easy to grasp. I love React and want to keep learning more. Building in React is the best!!!!

I'm a single mom of 2 little kids and I went to college and got my bachelors in Media Arts and Animation. A field hard to get into. I was also scammed by the school I attended and have been working in low income jobs to get by. Currently I'm a college grad working for Grubhub as a driver surviving on tips and I figured since i do have some coding experience within the 3D animation world, I might as well grow that skillset and struggle a bit less. So far I can easily follow the classes and I'm excited to see if I truly can understand coding enough to make a career out of it remotely.
SheCodes Plus was so fun!! I love the approach of everything; pacing feels wonderful during these 8 weeks, learning and grouping the lessons into the next steps made me feel mentally ready to learn more, and I felt so comfortable learning each lesson. This introductory course was well structured and easy-to-follow. One of the unique features of the course was teaching thought process rather than simply the syntax.
