Absolutely enjoyed the pacing and everything I've learned so far! While I did have some previous knowledge of html and css, I felt like the courses organised the scattered information I had in my brain while offering a great first introduction to Javascript and good practices in general. I managed to breeze through both weeks in 3 days and created my project on the 4th day! Looking forward to learn more!

Oh this was a tough one. I overall really enjoyed the lectures and doing the challenges after every lecture. After completing the challenges touching the project was still tough but so enjoyable and learnt a lot again while making mistakes, finding the mistakes and then correcting them. It would not be an understatement to say that I feel this course has changed the trajectory of my life! After years struggling desperately to find a career path that I genuinely love and find fulfilling, I feel that I have finally achieved my goal. The course is brilliantly done - really well explained and I think having challenges that enable you to see what you've learned in action (and for me, invoke the newfound joy of watching my code come to life). The flexibility was also a massive bonus and reduced any pressure around the work.

It was my second course after SheCodes Basic. Generally, I like it. Matt's video are rather simple and clear. If you have problems with homework (students have them always π ) you can always to get help from tech.assistants in Slack. Thanks to all SheCodes team! I like coding more and more, course by course π. I will continue to learn how to code definitely. It's fascinating π

I've wanted to learn about coding for a long time now and I'm grateful to have had this opportunity to learn the basics with SheCodes. The video lessons are easily digestible and I was surprised at how fast I was about to create a webpage from scratch. I hope to continue to learn more about coding in the future and build my own websites to promote my own and my family's businesses.

I had a blast learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript throughout the Basics course. Matt did an excellent job explaining things, showing alternative ways to do something, and reminding us that it is okay if things get challenging. I really enjoyed using the developer tools to check my work, as this was something I wasn't even aware of. I also liked the exercise where we had to figure out how many people were on the SheCodes website. Everything was very user friendly and accessible. Thank you and I am excited to take more courses!

I completed another course in SheCodes. I have the most wonderful impressions from the lessons. I am amazed by the professional presentation of the material with a Matthieu Delac, which makes it easy to assimilate the material and improve your level of programming knowledge.
I finished other level in course. It was difficult sometimes to make a homework. But great support frome the team helped me a lot.
Coding allows you to immerse yourself in technology. Several searches led me to becoming interested in it. Currently, I'm studying computer science and coding is one of the most important parts of this field. Additionally, coding is fun and educational at the same time, which is awesome.
I can't believe how much I enjoyed completing this workshop! The way Matt teaches is incredible. Coding is one of those subjects that you need a great teacher. Similar to math in high school, if your teacher doesn't explain well, you get confused and fail. Thank you, Matt, for everything you've taught me thus far - I enjoyed building my weather app immensely. I am excited to sign up for more workshops soon!
The course is well structured, so you'll start from baby-steps, but finish with a quite nice result :) Instructions are easy to follow and videos describe everything you need at the current stage. And if you stuck or want to clarify something, you won't wait for ages to get reply.
This is an excellent course! The topics were well-explained, and code was used to exemplify them. Building a real website using what was taught makes the entire process more concrete, and it shows the students that they can work on their own projects. I've wanted to get into a career in tech over the last couple of months while unemployed. I wanted to see if I was even capable of understanding coding, so I decided to give the SheCodes Basics course a try. The course was great for teaching software development fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, & Java. I still have a long way to go in my journey, but it's nice to know that I am capable of pursuing this.
Highly recommend this course (and all other SheCodes courses) to anyone wanting to enter into the world of front-end development. I've learnt so much over the 4 courses that SheCodes offers, far more than I thought possible when I first starting coding 6 months ago. Big thanks to Matt and the team!

SheCodes Basic was easy to follow and understand. This introductory course was immensely helpful in contributing to my understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. All of which I most recently started to use in my current organization. It was an empowering and rewarding experience.
Loved Plus! It was great making a functional website that generates real time weather data using an API. Matthieu's instructional style is great, the staff on Slack are so helpful and patient. Really demystifies web design and gives you a way in without getting overwhelmed. Plus - it's so fun. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed learning from Matt. He made the concepts easy and fun to learn. I love all the emojis everywhere too haha! π Each lesson was a good length, and the challenges were rewarding to figure out and complete. Every time I sat down to go through some lessons and challenges, I just kept going and going, getting through more than I thought I could in one sitting. I liked listening to SheCodes Radio while coding too. I think my brain really loved learning to code; I got to be creative and logical at the same time! I am a working full time and a mom of a 1 year old girl, but learning this basic course was so fun that I am always looking forward to do my homeworks and the activities. I didn't imagine that coding is fun and exciting.
SheCodes has blown all of my expectations out of the water! As someone who has never coded a day in her life, I found the lessons to be straightforward and easy to follow along. The challenges and homework really helped me to cement my knowledge and to build upon each new concept. Furthermore, the deadlines helped me to stay on track with my coding lessons by providing structure to my already busy life.
