SheCodes+ was a complex, yet fun and informative workshop. There were times when I struggled, but it was pretty exciting whenever I found the solutions myself. It was also extremely helpful having support whenever I needed it. Matt's lessons were easy to understand and I enjoyed being hands-on in the project. I am very excited to continue learning with SheCodes and I hope that I can transition to tech very soon!
I was so pleased with how they structured the SheCodes Basics workshop. They gave just enough info at strategic times during the sequence of lessons so that I wasn't overwhelmed with extra info until I had already understood each step of the webpage-building process. I'm really happy with how fun they made the workshop with the challenges they chose to integrate into the lessons. The Slack community was great too for when I got stuck.
I learned a lot from the class eventhough its an intro class. The instructors in the slack were super helpful and valuable to my learning in this program. Overall, I recommend 10/10!

I joined SheCodes after not knowing if I wanted to return for my graduate studies in Psychology. I was feeling lost and without direction in life, and was also dealing with chronic pain from a spinal stenosis diagnosis. I spoke to a friend of a friend who is a professional full-stack developer and they told me all about their career. The next day, I looked into coding schools and was happy to stumble upon SheCodes. The lessons have been easy to follow and learning has become exciting again. I am so happy to be here.
What a journey! I have learnt a lot and discovered a world full of possibilities. I feel that I have gained down-to-earth knowledge about programming... Learn by doing! There is no better approach.
It was one of the most difficult training in my life, but I did not give up and made it to the end. Thanks to the whole team for their support throughout this journey, it was unforgettable. I want to learn more and keep learning. Now I understand that all this work has not been done in vain!

The course's format is efficient: frequent challenges, weekly homework and final projects alongside with clear instructions from the instructor; very supportive technician team giving quick solutions/explanation. I have learnt a lot by practicing almost daily.

Matt is an excellent teacher. I wanted to start this journey a long time ago and as starting is the most difficult part of every adventure , fear was eating my courage for breakfast every time I opened VS code. This time everything was different. I got a huge dose of knowledge, inspiration and a bunch of ideas how coding lets you paint your dreams in a digital reality... even if you're an opera singer who lives in an abstract world of her own fairytale... I'm definitely gonna continue this journey with the following courses !
Responsive workshop is really interesting, useful and challenging as well! Matt shows bunch of ways to realize this or that idea, and it is so valuable! So far making site responsive is my favorite part of tasks although before workshop I thought it is boring and exhausting. I am so happy that I was wrong!
SheCodes Responsive was a great way to build a portfolio that I can continue to work on and use as I move forward into the field of front-end development.

I always wanted to learn coding, but never felt like I could because it looked so intimidating. I was on Instagram one day and saw an Ad for the SheCodes free Coding Class. Matt introduced coding in a way that made it look fun and cool, so I enrolled in the SheCodes Basics workshop and I cannot even believe how much I learned in just 3 weeks! I am able to help out more with basic coding at work and my supervisor is thrilled and I can't wait to grow in this skill!

To be honest I didn't want to apply for this workshop, because I thought it would be boring. But how mistaken I was! The SheCodes Responsive is full of REALLY important rules and tips on how to make the projects look well on their mobile version. Now I enjoy scrolling the pages of my portfolio from my iphone. It looks prettyyy!!!

Thank you so much! Awesome course! But I'm worried that a beginner might think that everything is so easy and simple, and they do not need to read a lot of necessary, but tedious information. I hope in the next levels, the information is given in more depth.
I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be fun and quite easy for me. I enrolled in the basic workshop but I will continue with a pro. I understood every class and all the concepts of coding. It is a creative workshop and not boring or difficult at all. Also, when I needed help I was able to ask the community and the tech support.
Finally, I was able to create my own personal website๐ฅณ, and this is a great achievement for me, and I wish myself more success๐๐ฌ. Thanks to the SheCodes team and my teacher Matt Delac

This is the beginning of a journey and the end of the whole SheCodes Pro. Learning React was fun, engaging and hard at times. However, everything is possible when you have Matt encouraging you to follow growing in middle of your own struggle. Love everything I have learned so far and I plan to follow into this journey. I highly recommend any woman that is a pure beginner coding to start her path with SheCodes and the Delac Foundation. I'm really thankful with the Foundation for this opportunity.
I thought this was a great introduction to React! I actually enjoyed using react more than I expected. I'm looking forward to learning more about it and how to use it in current projects for future jobs.
Very happy with the whole program but particularly with the React module as I got to learn to be more efficient and practical. The two projects were challenging but also quite fun and I know feel more confident in my skills and capabilities. Coding with react was tricky at first but quite intuitive overall and I am looking forward to continue learning.
I have worked in digital marketing for 6+ years and wanted to explore the world of tech. For many years I thought there was no place for me because I do not have an affinity for math and science, but I was wrong. I'm excited to become a front-end developer, and teach my daughter that there is no ceiling to learning new things and setting personal or career goals.

The curriculum is quite challenging and it makes you push your own boundaries, basically prove yourself that you can. I am grateful for being able to understand how everythyng works, being able to code and implement my ideas! Thank you SheCodes!

I can't believe that this workshop came to an end. I really enjoyed learning about React. It was different than vanilla JS so I had to deal with some new errors and it was definitely fun. I also want to thank SheCodes team for all of their helps. Looking forward for more!

I really loved working on my dice rolling project and can't wait to continue learning more JavaScript, CSS, HTML and strengthening my knowledge. The Basics course was a great place to start out if you are new to coding. It is a little overwhelming at first but I found the community on Slack to be a great resource for help and encouragement.

This course erased my fear of learning to code. I used to think that you had to be some genius with the best mathematical skills to learn, but you can simply be a creative like me that has an interest.
I have loved every second of SheCodes Responsive! I'm so excited to have the knowledge and skill to create my own fully-functional websites, looking back to see how my coding journey has progressed from the first simple HTML webpage project in SheCodes Basics makes me incredibly proud. The PLUS workshop was a bit challenging, but I enjoy coding so much that I will now go directly to the responsive workshop. Many thanks to Matt and the whole SheCodes team - great job!
SheCodes has provided me with the structure I need to succeed. The lessons for the week are broken into bite-sized pieces with little challenges after each lesson (like two-bite brownies!), which builds to the week's homework assignment. The assignment gives you the opportunity to apply all of the week's lessons to see how they work together. This two-bite brownie approach helps to remove the feeling of overwhelm and gives the feeling of satisfaction with each challenge. I'm so excited to see what I learn throughout the SheCodes React program.

Just finished the sheCodes plus course, another amazing learning experience! At the beginning I found javaScript very challenging, but I stuck with it and now I have a much better understanding of javaScript. Loved this course and cannot wait to start the next ๐!

As with the first workshop, it was exciting and super challenging. The moment that perplexed me, was a program of Weeks 7-8, where Matt started to build the app from scratch, although at that point we had to build this on our own. Nevertheless, I understood that recollecting some material wasn't redundant at all. Moreover, it helped me to solve the problem of temperature conversion in the forecast day cards.
Challenging but in the best possible way. I feel so much more confident in my coding abilities. There is so much information packed into this course! I can't wait for the next one!
