Hi, I really enjoyed the lessons. This is some kind of magic when you write code and immediately see the result. Very accessible and understandable, the main thing is to go to the goal.
SheCodes Basic course gives you a good overview of HTML, CSS, and Java - just enough so to grab your interest to pursue it in more advanced courses (or I guess also to let you know it's not really your thing...which is equally important). I liked the pace and was able to balance this with other demands throughout the week. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quick intro!
I've had so many great, sometimes frustrating, sometimes challenging, but awesome and useful times during all the workshops! I've learned a lot, I've known a lot, I've done a lot. Huge thanks to all the SheCodes team for these tutorials, I'll try to do my best to use this knowledge in my future career π
Great course. As a full-time working mother of small children, I love the flexibility to be able to take classes when and where I want. This is the only program I have found to offer that flexibility.

This course has been so interesting, challenging and a lot of fun. It's frustrating at times but the best feeling when you finally figure out what is going wrong. I love the way the course is organised and that you can always refer back to previous videos. Couldn't recommend this course enough for anyone interested in starting out in coding :)

As a person that had zero interest in computers, I feel completely inspired by the course. I signed up to the webinar so that I could bridge the gap in my knowledge to interact better with a student in my class that has a keen interest in coding. I never thought that i would enjoy coding so much myself. Matt makes everything so easy and his passion shines through which makes it very simple to follow. The course satisfies my creative flare as well as giving me the opportunity to solve puzzles. I'd recommend the course to anyone!

SheCodes Basics is a fun and non-intimidating introduction to web development. The challenges are difficult enough to be engaging without making you feel overwhelmed. The support team is responsive and kind to any needs you might have. I highly recommend trying it out!

First of all I'd like to say "Thank you all so much!" Now I see not jut how to built the web-page, but how many work do my colleagues -the web-developers - when create something new and unique. As a SDET I saw just a part of it. And now I see the "whole picture" and this is amazing. As the result of the first three weeks students know all about the building-blocks of the web-page, what is a peer-review and we understand how important it is. I hope, the next level will be even more interesting. Thanks Matt, you do a great job :)

If I look back where I started 6 months ago I can feel very proud of what SheCodes has taught me. Now I am able to build myself so many different apps and I have discovered the coding passion which I just want to keep developing.

This course was incredible. At first I was worried that it would be incomprehensible to me. I don't speak English very well. But the course exceeded my expectations. The explanations were clear and understandable. There was a lot of practice. This is great! I look forward to continuing the course!
I wanted to know if I like programming. I always thought it was super difficult. But it turns out everyone can do it! Videos and classes do not take up most of your time, but give you a maximum of basic knowledge. And the mentor is cute :)
It was interesting to go through this three weeks course. Understandable short lessons with full information and exercises then. Also good to have response for some questions.

Learning through practice is a new experience for me. The course was not easy, but step by step we explained all the details of creating a small site to determine the weather. If you follow the instructions, everything will work out. We were left with space for self-expression, so at the end of the course we received a large number of different projects. I really liked that you can watch how other participants of the course performed the tasks. Thank you for an interesting and useful experience.

Through this first workshop, I gained some solid experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and was able to build a beautiful website about ballet! π©° Most importantly, I learned how to be self-sufficient and use a variety of resources to accomplish coding challenges. Having access to a strong mentor and a team of support is so helpful when learning, just as it will be throughout a fulfilling career in tech. :)

I liked it very much, gradually and not difficult
It was so short, sweet & easy-to-follow! Actually the first time I understood JavaScript (failed so many times before) and even felt an urge to improvise and code extra. Also loved the size of the lessons (5-10 minutes) so that even if you're busy it's still possible to study a bit.
I would highly recommend this course! It was fun, informative and very interactive with the learner.

I was first taught coding by my mother who had a Masters Degree in Computer Science over 30 years ago. That was when coding was young and all we could learn was DOS because none of these newer coding languages existed. This was my first time formally learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I can hardly believe that I was able to create real web pages so quickly. I have recently begun building No Code Apps and I am excited to enhance my projects by incorporating what I have learned through the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I could not be more excited about the opportunities that I foresee because I have begun to develop this new skillset. I am grateful.ππΎ
SheCodes has been phenomenal in helping me understand the basics of code. SheCodes Basics was an excellent intro into HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I went from 0 coding knowledge to being able to build a webpage in 3 weeks! The videos are the perfect length to not lose focus!
I love SheCodes! I can't lie, I was a little skeptical, there are a MILLION coding bootcamps... however- I went from zero knowledge to building an interactive webpage, being able to inspect other pages proficiently, and the intimidation this field used to give me has been replaced by an eagerness to learn more!
The responsive workshop was so informative and vital for anyone frontend developer that works on web development. It was a lot of fun and Matt is a fun instructor always making me laugh watching his lessons!

The best course ever!
I would recommend this course for people who wants to learn at their own pace. There is a lot of people to help in case you are confuse with assignment.
I really wanted to learn to code but with me having bad ADHD i was really worried i wouldn't be able focus on the lessons or challenges. Matt makes the lessons super interesting with cool pictures and colors also the way he explains things is just the best thing ever! It makes everything so much easier. Also the way the whole thing is set out has been amazing! and i have managed to complete 3 weeks with hardly any struggle even with the ADHD. This workshop is one of the best things i have ever done. Thankyou Matt and Shecodes!!!!
SheCodes Plus was such a growing experience! Through Matt's instruction and challenges and the invaluable help from the team on Slack, I feel like we can now do wonderful things with Vanilla Javascript.
