SheCodes Basic is a fantastic workshop which teaches you everything you need to know to start on a new adventure in coding.
Before starting the course I was worried about coding being too difficult for me. But the workshop ended up being so fun, I've genuinely enjoyed creating pages and making the elements work! The lessons were very easy to understand and if I encountered the issues which I could not deal with by myself, they were effortlessly resolved by checking the workshop chat on slack. I had a great experience. The solutions after challenges really helped me understand and I love the concept behind the company. It's amazing to see women from all around the world in the slack channel and all our work in one place. I learned html and css during design school (its been awhile) but this was my first time learning javascript. Overall I feel like the basics workshop was well worth the money. Give it a try!

SheCodes is a good introductory workshop for beginners. Matt is a great instructor who explains every step in detail making the work easy to follow along. The workshop also provides plenty of resources and a friendly community ready to help you.
This course built on what I learned in the basics workshop and allowed me to understand more of javascript and how to host a website. I look forward to the next two workshops, Responsive and React, so that I can further my front end development knowledge.

This is what I've been looking for! π I've tried learning javascript and c# on several different mobile apps for the past few months, each one as confusing and confidence knocking as the last. SheCodes has really helped break everything down into logical, chewable mouthfuls and has made the entire process incredibly fun! Coding seemed like a big overwhelming monster before SheCodes. I had no idea where to start so I just kept putting it off. This workshop was so clear and the small steps made it feel approachable and at times even easy, and when I did struggle help was readily available. This course was amazing! I would highly recommend it. I loved how we used real-world tools and had challenges throughout. Throughout the course, I was building on the skills from week 1 which gave me the confidence to play around with my final project.

It has been an interesting, fun, and challenging journey of coding. I learned that coding with a free mind is the key. I took a bunch of breaks during coding. Taking a break gives an opportunity to think about what you can change or improve.

I still can't believe the amount of progress I had in just three weeks. The workshops were really easy to understand, they were short and very helpful at the same time, the projects weren't too easy or too difficult to handle and, in the end, all I can say is that I love SheCodes and I'm very thankful for this opportunity that they gave me.
Some of the courses were a little tricky, but having the right support and resources definitely helped a lot!

Whew! This is the most rewarding, exciting, and difficult workshop yet! I loved the React projects (one weather and one dictionary), building another weather project but in a different way really shows you that there are a lot more ways you can code to build a project. The dictionary project was definitely the hardest but I'm a perfectionist at heart and this was a great experience to see it all come together. These weeks of lessons, challenges, and projects has me going out on my own and making more than just the given projects and I'm dreaming of code and other ways to make it work! Thank you so much Matt Delac for this platform/workshops and thank you the to team for helping me out so much! You all rock!!
SheCodes Responsive gave me the confidence I needed to really see that I CAN DO this. I loved the final project. Being able to showcase our work on a website we built is an amazing feeling. SheCodes is a great opportunity to learn how to code from scratch. You can have zero knowledge and still succeed just by following the lessons. Hands-on projects and exercises help to identify what you have already mastered and what you still have to work on. I didn't believe that I would be able to learn how to code, but SheCodes proved me wrong!
During the plus workshop I felt sometimes overwhelmed and frustrated but thanks to the motivating SheCodes Team I didn't give up and it paid off. I managed to code a weather app. I am so grateful for the SheCodes Workshops!

What an amazing course! I am totally satisfied!
At the very beginning, I wasn't sure whether I could handle this challenge, because I'm a person who is more into humanities bent,thus coding or programming -another world,which I would never be able to get to know, that was actually my very first thought. Nevertheless, I got into that. The way how Monsieur Matt explains the field of coding,just brilliant! This workshop is extrremely inspiring and I eager to continue to explore the world of IT. SheCodes:Basics - a great workshop,which gives the most comprehemsive explanations of the unknown world of IT and maximum level of creativity.
Overall, I would give this program a 4.3/5. I learned a lot and the lessons taught 1 to 2 ideas to learn at a time, making it easier to learn without getting overwhelmed. If you are not sure you are interested in coding, taking the basic course is a good way to see if it is for you. It also makes me appreciate those who do coding for a living and how much goes into just one web page.
Going through the whole experience with SheCodes has been SO helpful! The workshops are structured wonderfully and make learning easy and fun.
