I had never done a coding course before but I absolutely loved this first week with SheCodes. It's been a great experience so far, I feel like I've learned a lot and can't wait to learn more.

WOW! Completed a new course, it was one of the hardest yet, JavaScript is no joke π . But thanks to the support of the SheCodes team and the other students, I was able to pull through.
I had a great time learning how to code these last few weeks! It went by quickly despite the challenges. I am looking forward to see where this road will take me next! :)
The SheCodes Plus workshop is a great experience! I enjoyed building my own project and it was broken down in such a way that made it easy and enjoyable to follow. Even though some parts were difficult, such as learning how to integrate the API, the videos make it easy to follow along and understand.
This course taught how to structure and present web site content so it is organized in a professional way, and can adapt to screen size of the user. It made sure to reinforce the work environment/process system that is mainstream. I liked that we were given multiple opportunities to practice the things we learned to get used to this process. I was actually distracted from the actual building of the final project by the need to generate better quality content for it. That became my main concern.
This basic workshop helped me to learn the firsts steps about coding, Im make myself proud in every challenge and homework successfully completed
This program was much easier to follow along with than previous programs I've tried in the past, and the slack chat is a real help! Keep in mind that you will have to do your own research and problem-solving to finish some of the challenges, and it's not fully comprehensive. The Basics course has helped me a lot, but I certainly don't know everything about JavaScript yet! I look forward to continuing my learning in the other workshops.

Absolutely loved it! The materials are so well explained and i love how Matt explains everything step by step. This is perfect for everyone who is new to coding!
This is a great programme for beginners like me with almost zero knowledge about coding. It gives you a great base. You learn the most important things in such simple language; once you try out what you've learned and find out that it works, you're encouraged to keep going. I recommend it without reserve.

I came to SheCodes with some old school coding experience (circa 2009) and I found the basics workshop to be easy to follow and very thorough. Matt encourages the student to research and I think this is such a huge step in any learning process. Will be moving on to PLUS workshop next!

I really wanted to learn a new skill over the summer holidays. I came across the advert on a social platform and instantly signed up out of curiosity. I'm so glad I did because it has kept my brain active over the summer and I have learned many new skills that I could utilise which I am very grateful for. Despite challenging moments there was always an immense amount of support from the Slack SheCodes Team. Matt's teaching techniques are effective as they are conscise, straighforward yet still informative. I appreciate having this oppourtunity very much!

I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone and everyone! I was recently searching for a new career path and figured I would try something completely out of my comfort zone! With a 2 year old and a full time job, flexibility was really important for me. Luckily for me I came across SheCodes and was able to complete the beginner course on my own time. Definitely hoping to complete more courses and make a career change.
I really enjoyed the classes, super easy and doing the challenges to each module was SUPER helpful! I will definitely do the next modules if I can fit in my schedule! Also doable as a part-time activity after work.

I enjoyed the tutorial so much! The training was challenging, but after finishing the real-life project, I feel excited and motivated to go further. I highly recommend the SheCodes Plus tutorial - you'll get a lot of practice and figure out how things work under the hood.
This course is perfect for visual learners like myself. I will recommend this course to any woman I know would be interested in learning to code. I have learnt so much in such a short time and I am looking forward to the next stage already. As a busy mother of four this self paced course was just what I needed but with the accountability of the deadlines and course work to hand in at the end of each week. Anyone thinking of taking the courses, go for it!

I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop! It was significantly more challenging compared to the Basics workshop, which I appreciated. However, I did find it somewhat frustrating at times, especially when attempting to implement features that weren't explicitly covered. For instance, I struggled to display temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius in the forecast section of my project. Though not required, I eventually submitted my project without that feature. Overall, I would recommend the workshop, but if you're new to coding, be prepared to encounter some frustrating moments along the way!
I received my certificate, and I would like to thank you SheCodes and Matt Delac for your support. My biggest struggle was trying to make my website look exactly how I wanted it to look both on desktop and on mobile. I enjoyed this workshop tremendously. I look forward to taking another class with SheCodes team.
I feel confident with the tools I learned after completing my first project. Ten weeks ago I didn't know anything about coding, after learning the basics and then learning more advanced tools with the first part of SheCodes Plus I can totally code a website on my own even if it's just a landing page. I can also apply the methods I learned in other projects if I need or want to. Looking forward to keep learning and getting more comfortable with coding.

Coding with React makes me feel like a magician. SheCodes have helped me reaching a huge milestone of my life which is to learn coding. Difficult concepts are explained step-by-step with challenges and regular datelines that make it easier to follow the schedule and deliver the final projects while having a lot of fun. A very excellent course that teaches practical application of js knowledge. The maximum amount of useful information you will need for project development. And prepare for the homework of the second week, if you want to make a good design, it may take you a long time π

Learning to code with SheCodes is really fun. The lessons with Matt's explanations are very clear, with examples that make it easy to understand. With a background education in Grafic Design and a little bit of experience in SQL I'm really having fun writing my creative thoughts into code, it is designing on a whole other level! I will definetly be back for one of the more in dept workshops! I fully recommand these workshops to anyone interested in learning how to code. π

I can't describe the feeling of finishing this course. Matt made it challenging yet achievable. I started from SheCodes Basics knowing very little to finishing SheCodes React. I come home from work and start coding right away as a form of relaxation. I have grown as a person these last four months and it has been an incredible journey. I even won my first hackathon last month.
This challenge was harder but very exciting. I really loved to get new knowledges. And also this task was very creative! Thank you very much for such a great opportunity to learn and practice at the same time. Matthieu is a great teacher with pleasant and calming voiceπ Everything is clear. And even if not, it's a huge training for brains to understand how everything is going. But it's my problem. π And also, thanks for a great team of support. I was missing some basics in html and css so I decided to take that course, and I really enjoyed it! I think it is very well-prepared and easy to fulfill all assignments which are fun. I would also recommend it to complete beginners, all tasks and solutions were very helpful and tutor is explaining everything in details.

SheCodes Basics was an incredible program! I have always had an interest in coding, but never pursued it until now. SheCodes is a very helpful resource in learning how to code. I usually can never follow through with online classes as I easily am bored. With SheCodes, the structure of the classes allow just enough time for me to learn without losing interest. Weekly homework challenges are also very helpful in keeping me on top of my studies.
