I really enjoyed the SheCodes coding workshop. The course was well-structured and easy to follow. With some prior experience it provided a good balance of reinforcing existing knowledge while still introducing new concepts, which kept it engaging throughout.

This is my second SheCodes workshop, and I'm enjoying every single moment of it. Each session brings something new to discover, and the experience just keeps getting better. Challenging but thoroughly enjoyed!!

For the past few years my job has been helping developers clean and secure their code. But I wanted to understand that process from the inside out. SheCodes Basics provided the perfect starting point. It helped me move beyond just selling tools to truly understanding the foundation of what makes a developer's workflow important. I feel so much more connected to the tech I work with and I can’t wait to see where my coding journey goes next.

This workshop gives a basic idea on how python can be used to work with big data sets, what its potential is.

I started this program with little coding knowledge, and it totally boosted my confidence in coding skills, motivating me to keep learning and grow.

The journey so far was a waaoohh moment, realizing the simple way of learning and understanding why things are done especially in javascript. I love how the tutor explained in a simple way and every homework gave me confidence to keep going!

Absolutly beginner friendly!! I really enjoyed it

Each lesson is bite-sized, you actually build projects step by step.

This project has helped me reinforce my existing programming knowledge and take a closer look at React. Specifically, it helped me with: Practising project organisation: deciding what should be a component and identifying the main file where all the pieces come together. Understanding the purpose of hooks: useState() and useEffect(). Making API calls (SheCodes Weather API). Practising JSX (HTML with JS). Deepening my understanding of styling and experimenting with color palettes. A few years ago I built a weather app with vanilla JS and found it quite tedious. Back then I also paid little attention to styling. I just wanted it to work. Now, with a solid grasp of the fundamentals and using React, which simplifies the code considerably, I was able to focus much more on UX/UI. Overall, a very worthwhile course. It has its complexity. React, API calls, asynchronous functions but the project is small enough that the architecture never becomes overwhelming.

In this project i changed my mind so many times that I got stuck several times, codes that failed which led to (again) some frustrations, but guess that's normal. I needed to cut some ideas that i had cause they were to complex for the stage of learning were I am now. I'm sure we will learn what I wanted in future workshops so that I can update this project as I originally intended to be.

I am really impressed with the coding work done. It was efficient, clean, and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

I definitely learned something new!

This course took my understanding of Python to a whole new level. I worked with data structures more confidently, learned how to manipulate and clean data effectively, and got hands-on experience reading from and writing to CSV files, which made working with real-world data feel much more approachable. One of my favourite parts was learning how to create plots and visualise data. Being able to transform raw data into clear, meaningful insights was incredibly rewarding, and I especially enjoyed learning how to customise visualisations to suit my style, having that level of creative control made the process even more engaging. I also really enjoyed diving into Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Understanding how to structure code using classes and objects has made my projects feel much more organised and scalable. Overall, the course was super practical and helped everything click through real exercises and projects.

Great class and highly recommend even if you have limited to no knowledge of Python.

This workshop pushed me to my limits with React! I’m thrilled to have built a fully responsive weather app with live API integration and unit toggling. It’s a great feeling to see complex code turn into a useful, working tool.

SheCodes React was an amazing experience! I learned how to build a real weather app using React, APIs, and deploy it to Netlify. I went from zero to building my own components. Highly recommend it!

I enjoyed this workshop and learning how to integrate APIs with Python in Google Colab. It was a great review of connecting an AI API into a project. One challenge I ran into was the API’s limit on output length. When I tried to create a more detailed and fun itinerary, the results would get cut off for trips longer than about 3 days. After troubleshooting, I simplified the format to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, it was a fun project and a great refresher on working with AI and APIs.

Through SheCodes, I have learned a lot about hosting and using moment.js in a project. Building this World Clock helped me understand how to work with time zones, external libraries, and bringing it all together in a real, live project.

This is such a great starter course to get a feel on what coding is and to practice what you are actually learning. Matt's teaching is so helpful by sharing examples and walking through each part step by step. I'm blown away with how easy it was to begin on day 1 with free tools and to see small results throughout the entire 3 weeks. Can't wait to continue on this coding journey!

This workshop was lots of fun. I've come out with a real appreciation for the utility of open API's! As rightly mentioned repeatedly throughout the course, there's certainly a learning curve for every API. Additionally, some are objectively much better and more user friendly than others! However, once you've deciphered them, the possibilities are endless. I'm also a converted mega fan of React, as I think the developers have done a fantastic job of interpolating JavaScript into HTML in such a way that is a lot more intuitive and user friendly! I've come away from this course with a really cool set of new skills and I can't wait to test them out and improve!

I’m really happy to have finished the SheCodes Plus program! It was such a fun and rewarding experience where I got to improve my JavaScript skills, work with APIs, and build my own weather app. I loved how hands-on everything was, and it really helped me feel more confident writing code and solving problems on my own. I really enjoyed this introduction to coding although I felt like the first week took me a lot longer than the time advised.

I recently completed the SheCodes Basic course, and it was such a rewarding experience. The lessons were well-structured and easy to follow, with guided activities that kept me engaged and motivated throughout. I especially appreciated how the course encouraged me to push through challenges and build confidence step by step. I’m really proud to have reached the end of the course and to have developed valuable new skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being able to create my own first webpage from scratch felt like a huge achievement. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to start their coding journey in a supportive and inspiring environment.

I enjoyed the workshop, it is very well structrured in a way that you learn bit by bit without feeling overloaded. I was an absolut begginer and I don't even identify with the tech world and still managed.However, I was expecting more follow up to our homeworks and projects, like critics or sugestions, not just "do it", "submit it" and get a "well done, it's approved". It is very unpersonal in my prespective.

My AI course experience was truly amazing and life-changing. At first, I was nervous because I thought AI would be difficult to understand, but the course made everything simple, practical, and exciting. I learned how to create prompts, generate creative ideas, improve my projects, and use AI in a smart way for school, business, and personal growth.

The SheCodes workshops was a game-changer! Learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript was incredibly empowering - I went from knowing nothing to building my own website in just a few weeks. Greetings everybody, initially when I joined the SheCodes workshop I was struggling with almost everything, during the workshop classes I've managed to learn to build landing pages, with skills gained during the classes, place me on cloud nine. I highly recommend the workshop to every women out there who wants to understand and fit in the 21st century technology. Hats off to teacher Matt Delac and his team for clear lesson presentations, truly appreciated. Lastly, I would like to thank the SheDreams Foundation for granting me the opportunity to study coding.

Learning with Shecodes is always fun, because I never thought it could be so challenging and exciting at the same time.

Completing the Advanced React add-on was a great experience. It helped me strengthen my understanding of React and build more interactive applications with confidence. I really enjoyed the hands-on project of dictionary app. This course has taken my coding skills to the next level.

At 51, I finally decided it was time to build the future I actually want. I've spent years working in the restaurant industry, and while it's taught me so much, I'm ready to move on — and SheCodes is helping me make that happen. This is the first time in my life that I am truly enjoying what I'm learning. After long shifts on my feet, I come home and actually look forward to opening my laptop. The lessons are clear, the community is incredibly supportive, and I have never once felt like I was too old or too late to start something new. I can already see a bright future ahead — one where I build things with code instead of carrying plates. If you're dreaming of a change, SheCodes is the place to start. It's never too late.

The program was easy and enjoyable to follow along and I have been able to polish up on my HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge and skills and this has given me confidence to embark on my tech and freelancing journey.

I have never thought JavaScript shall hold up a challenge, but after watching Mister Delac's great videos over and over again, I conquered it. I wish to learn more because I am so excited. I can't wait to develop these skills further and see where they would take me.

I completed the SheCodes Python Basics course and really enjoyed it. The lessons were easy to follow, and the exercises helped me practice coding. It gave me a good foundation to continue learning Python.

I enjoyed this workshop as I got to learn how to code and create fun pages by myself. The homeworks got me thinking a lot, trying to make my code work and figuring out things. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family as I got to learn a lot.

Good intro to the subject

Loved SheCodes Advanced, it was so informative and the final project was super fun to do, with great instructions throughout!

The workshop is fun, you can make it as interactive as you want. The steps were sometimes a little challenging. But it is definitely worth the try and all of the effort!

Learning React proved to be the most challenging aspect of my journey so far. I appreciate the support, patience, and knowledge-sharing from the SheCodes team, which significantly helped my understanding of this framework.

I now feel significantly more confident navigating complex codebases, debugging effectively, and building applications that are both performant and user-focused. ♡❤️
