What an AWESOME program! I'm usually an in-person learner but the SheCodes format makes learning and (most importantly) *practicing* these new concepts so easy. The short video format let me squeeze in as much practice as I wanted any time of the day. The structured challenges helped me memorize each new bit of coding before I was given the opportunity to create something original and fun with it. I had a blast creating my final project (I had been scoping out everyone's web pages and brainstorming from day 1), and I can't wait to start the next workshop!
I loved taking this course! I am excited to continue learning with SheCodes. The instructor, Matt, made learning the material fun. I really appreciated how each challenge continues to re-expose you to the previous skills and build on them. Learning each concept in chunks and getting practice with the challenges really helped me retain the information.
The course gave me a good idea of what coding is all about, kept me motivated and interested. It is structured well and allows flexibility in terms of completion. Really enjoyed it!

Great course. The classes are short, concise and so to the point that you never feel lost. You can immediately apply what you learn and feel accomplished at the end. As someone who took a C++ course in college, I never thought I would enjoy programming. I guess it has a lot to do with who is teaching. I highly recommend it.
At first, coding seemed very intimidating! But after the Basic SheCodes Workshop, I feel relaxed about continuing to learn coding. I enjoy the step-by-step videos and how the curriculum is set up weekly.
It was hard but very informative work with dictionary and weather applications on React. Lots more to come) Thank you SheCodes.

I started learning how to code in January and stopped in March as I felt overwhelmed then this time, I gave it another go and I'm understanding it better.
Definitely in love with the course and an opportunity to learn coding. This JS course was challenging and hard but worth all the efforts. You are learning to build an app step by step and also at the end you can see how Matt created the project from scratch and it really helps to see your mistakes and to improve your code. I really enjoyed it and the final result after all these weeks is awesome! Still can't believe that I created an app) Thank you!

SheCodes Basic has opened so many ideas for me! I'm literally a beginner in this. I'd never thought I'll be so interested in a career path that's to do with coding! This course was challenging but extremely fun and interesting.
I really enjoyed this class because the lessons were short, clear and useful. I understood what I was taught and was able to remember elements while writing code. I appreciate that there are homework lessons and practices so you do not get lost. Many lessons and concepts were refreshed effectively.

SheCodes Basic was a fantastic introduction to coding! The lessons were all very interesting & the format made it easy for me to take the course alongside my job.
These past 3 weeks have been full of discovery, wonder, anxiety, amazement, a full gamut of emotions and feelings. It was easy and difficult at the same time, and I quickly lost track of the hours I put in, but it was all positive and fantastic. The course contents were very nicely prepared and easy to understand. I really enjoyed following along and solving the challenges!
I already had some knowledge, but Matt showed some things that I did not know about. The lessons are presented in an accessible and concise way at the same time.I liked it so much that I did not notice how I completed the basic course in one day.
I had fun and learned a lot but this course seemed slower than the first two. I think with these concepts, I needed more visual lists as to the function of each modifier and less of watching someone code. I needed more structure.
For me the "SheCodes Basics" course is a lot of useful and interesting presented information for mastering a new profession. SheCodes provides an opportunity to change your life and become a part of large projects.

Good course with basic material covered in a nutshell. Allows you to learn at a pace convenient for everyone.
The classes come in bite-sized chunks, which is great for someone with a short attention span - like myself. Each class comes with an exercise, which sometimes challenge you to be creative and think logically. I think the Basics course is great value for money and has given me a basic knowledge of coding plus tools on how to supplement that with my own research.
So clear and simple explanations, PERFECT!!!
I personally think the support is not enough.
This workshop took the foundations I have learned in previous workshops and brought them all together. This project was fun to work on and made me feel proud of what I have learned in SheCodes.
SheCodes Plus has been an amazing journey. Sometimes it was pretty challenging but hard work paid off, the result is fantastic. Matt is incredible teacher and I am really thankful for this opportunity. Can't wait to start next workshops and continue this coding journey.

It was a super exciting and enjoyable journey on learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Although I already know how to code I loved this courseπ Everything is so comprehensible and well-organized. Homework is super creative and understandable. Hundred-percent recommend it!
I like this workshop. It's good when you want to start. But if you have any basic knowledge the fun starts in the middle of the second week.

It was a really great experience with Shecode. the right amount of guidance at the right time and really organised.
I've been self-teaching front end development for the past 2 years, and realised the need for a really good program that would take me from "knowing nothing" to actually understanding what I was learning and build my skills. After searching for a good, structured, international and flexible coding program that made learning engaging and fun with a good support system for almost just as long, I happened to come across SheCodes. I love that it's for women, and the Customer Success team was very helpful in answering all my questions before I decided to signup. Matt is great with giving bite-sized lessons without the information being overwhelming, and the Technical Team has been really helpful whenever I get stuck with the challenges. I'm looking forward to completing the other workshops!

This was my first time learning anything related to coding, and I enjoyed it a lot. I wasn't sure if this was for me, but since the first class, I got really excited to learn more every day. I want to apply for a Masters's degree and want to share my experience in a blog, so this was the perfect excuse to start my journey. SheCodes made it easy and fun!

Loved this course! The order in which things were taught was well thought out and made it easy for a beginner to follow.
This was a great experience to get my feet wet in the world of coding. It has definitely made me want to continue with this front end type of coding, but also explore the back end side of things. Courses were perfectly sectioned out. I didn't feel completely pressured/bound by a time constraint as I would have in a normal class room setting.

I'm so happy to have completed SheCodes React, and finally all of SheCodes Pro. I'm definitely going to continue using these skills. In fact, I'm already getting some practice working on projects for some friends' small businesses which is extremely fun and exciting!
