I have actually managed to create my own Weather App, fully functional and everything! Learning API calling and integration was the most fun of all. Matt's videos are so impressively thought through in that he helps you build code one piece at a time and make connections between functions in the same way the mind tries to see patterns. It was all like a game actually, each time I finished a challenge, I couldn't wait to level up and move on to the next. Thank you so much Shecodes Team :)

SheCodes Plus was an interesting journey. With every lesson, I was eager to learn more, and with every task I wanted to be able to implement even more. I am really happy that I've started coding with Matt, because since the first day, I've never caught myself thinking: I am done with all this stuff. On the contrary, I await the next workshop with great expectation.

It is a nice and easy course

I really enjoyed doing the SheCodes Basic Workshop. Matt is explaining very well and it is a lot of fun to get into the coding basics step by step!

I wanted my final project to reflect on UX/UI design and specify what it is about, since a lot people actually do not have any idea. I worked with HTML, CSS & JavaScript, which I haven't have experience before. However, I'm very happy with results and what I have made!

SheCodes has inspired me a lot to start learning coding and to continue practising. I tried to do this weather app with advanced design and honestly I had some troubles with it but I managed to overcome them (special thanks for SheCodes team for this!) andI believe you also with pursue your goals!

I enjoy learning by your lessons. Everything is clear and Slack chats help a lot.

It was nice to get more in-depth with the features making the coder life easier :) Totally recommended, I had fun creating my portfolio. Thank you for another great workshop!

After completing the first 3 SheCodes workshops, I knew that I wanted to continue with the React workshop. I kept coming across articles and social media posts from developers saying how important it is to know React these days. I'm so glad I took the time to learn. Since I joined SheCodes, I have learnt a lot of things about frontend web development. The lecture videos are concise, easy to understand and very creative. I can now develop and also design a web page with ease. Thank you so much Matt for this awesome privilege.

I liked following along to the video tutorials, and also seeing my classmates finished projects in the slack channel. I could compare my work and get ideas from others, and also go at my own pace. I like that I can network with other SheCodes alumni on linkedin, it's a very welcoming and inclusive group. I now have a solid portfolio to fill with projects as I continue to build sites and apps.

Absolutely enjoyed the pacing and everything I've learned so far! While I did have some previous knowledge of html and css, I felt like the courses organised the scattered information I had in my brain while offering a great first introduction to Javascript and good practices in general. I managed to breeze through both weeks in 3 days and created my project on the 4th day! Looking forward to learn more!

Oh this was a tough one. I overall really enjoyed the lectures and doing the challenges after every lecture. After completing the challenges touching the project was still tough but so enjoyable and learnt a lot again while making mistakes, finding the mistakes and then correcting them. It would not be an understatement to say that I feel this course has changed the trajectory of my life! After years struggling desperately to find a career path that I genuinely love and find fulfilling, I feel that I have finally achieved my goal. The course is brilliantly done - really well explained and I think having challenges that enable you to see what you've learned in action (and for me, invoke the newfound joy of watching my code come to life). The flexibility was also a massive bonus and reduced any pressure around the work.

It was my second course after SheCodes Basic. Generally, I like it. Matt's video are rather simple and clear. If you have problems with homework (students have them always 😅) you can always to get help from tech.assistants in Slack. Thanks to all SheCodes team! I like coding more and more, course by course 😀. I will continue to learn how to code definitely. It's fascinating 😋

I've wanted to learn about coding for a long time now and I'm grateful to have had this opportunity to learn the basics with SheCodes. The video lessons are easily digestible and I was surprised at how fast I was about to create a webpage from scratch. I hope to continue to learn more about coding in the future and build my own websites to promote my own and my family's businesses.

React has been my favorite workshop so far! Really enjoyed integrating multiple APIs.

I had a blast learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript throughout the Basics course. Matt did an excellent job explaining things, showing alternative ways to do something, and reminding us that it is okay if things get challenging. I really enjoyed using the developer tools to check my work, as this was something I wasn't even aware of. I also liked the exercise where we had to figure out how many people were on the SheCodes website. Everything was very user friendly and accessible. Thank you and I am excited to take more courses!
