It's fun to learn about responsive and converting measurement or sizes. It is challenging, but worth it.

I am getting used to the coding terms and I have seen significant improvements.

As someone in the mental health field, completing SheCodes Basics has been an incredible experience for me! I always find ways of challenging myself and this journey has taught me a lot. I have cultivated the habit of patience as I solved every challenge that came my way. Sometimes it took days to finally get a solution but I enjoyed every success that came along . Best online coaching for CSS, JS and HTML.

It was a very challenging activity, but I listened and managed my way to let the code run. This is fun, and it has challenged me mentally.

Must-do add-on to the Basics course. The skills learnt here will up your game!

I enjoyed going through the JavaScript section a lot! I gave this course 4* because I wish we had gone more in depth in JavaScript basics, before building the whole project. While Matt is a great teacher I do think the videos could have more explanations on why something is being done :) All in all, a great course to get you acquainted with the development flow and getting to build a whole project with the last weeks is very fun :)

The project and exercises were helpful. However, if you want to improve your work, you will need to go the extra mile and make use of the resources available on the internet. In conclusion, the experience was very engaging.

So far the workshops have been fun and easy to follow, I can find it hard to stay focused on a task but the weekly lessons break everything down into manageable pieces that act as great building blocks for the final project.

Completing the SheCodes basic course was an amazing learning experience for me. I got the hang of HTML quite quickly but JavaScript proved to be a real challenge. Despite this, I am determined to practice it again on my own until I get the hang of it. Matt explained it quite well, its just that JavaScript is challenging on its own. The lessons were clear, insightful and straightforward. I look forward to learning more! Thank you to the SheCODES team!

I’ve encountered plenty of bugs, roadblocks, and frustrating moments, but I've learned that those are all part of the journey. Each time I hit a snag and figure it out, I feel more confident in my abilities. Coding has taught me patience, resilience, and the power of persistence. As I continue to expand my knowledge, I’m excited to dive deeper into new frameworks, languages, and tools. The world of coding is constantly evolving, and I’m looking forward to evolving with it. While I’m still very much in the early stages of my coding career, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I know there will always be more to learn, but I’m excited for the challenges ahead and the opportunity to create and innovate through code.

I loved this course, it gave me a refresher on everything that I learned in the basics program and challenged me even more with the final project. I loved it!

In the past, I found creating websites with no-code visual editors quite frustrating. However, in just a few weeks, Matt taught me how to build a landing page from scratch, which I completed in just a few hours. The previous methods only caused me annoyance and took forever. Now that I have learned the basics of coding, I am beginning to understand the process of using code to build a website. I'm thrilled and incredibly grateful to have discovered SheCodes. I can't wait to continue my coding journey!

First of all, love the UI/UX of the SheCodes website! The anticipation of making such lovely websites itself made me excited to learn webdev. The pace was amazing. The challenges were very helpful and ensured we get a practical exercise to review our concepts.

I completed the SheCodes Basic course and found it really easy to follow with clear instructions. I am really proud of what I learnt in such a short time!

This project was such a blast to work on for my portfolio! I learned so much, including how to properly craft prompts for AI, work with AI APIs, style CSS directly in JavaScript, and even explore new JS plugins. A big focus of this project was user experience—making sure the design was intuitive, engaging, and enjoyable for anyone who interacted with it. The highlight of the experience was building our own AI generator using the SheCodes AI API. What made it special was the creative freedom to design and define what we wanted our AI to generate. For me, the choice was easy—combining my love for the universe and poetry. I created a Cosmic AI Generator that writes 4-line poems about the cosmos, inspired by any word you provide. It’s a fun, celestial way to explore creativity through AI while keeping the user experience simple and seamless. A huge thanks to SheCodes for this incredible project and to Matt for the clear, step-by-step lessons that made it all possible.

Great workshop that explains React and gives and another approach to build weather app

I loved learning the more advanced options like implementing dark mode! This course was a partial refresh for me since I learned years ago but haven't practiced and it has been a lot of fun to create something new with techniques that I haven't tried before.

I really like using AI, so I was very excited, how I can add this to my code. Very understandable, and I also like to improve the user experience with every new project.

I am happy to announce I have completed SheCodes basics and learnt HTML, CSS, and JavaScript quite quickly. I look forward to the next part of my course.

Just completed he AI Adds-On course, and I was very surprised on how easy it can be to learn the basics of interacting with AI, and how fun to work with it. I enjoyed learning about user experience too, and how to customize the web page according to the correct parameters. Definitely recommend!

During my time studying this course I was really impress on how practical the style of teaching is. From someone who had no previous knowledge in coding, I am amazed on how she codes was able to bring out the 'coder'' in me in a very short time. I look forward to continue learning with 'She Codes.

I enjoyed learning more about JavaScript. The way the material is presented makes it easy to understand and apply. It has really helped me find my path in coding, from learning HTML to building my own projects, and has made the process enjoyable. I appreciated working on a real-life project, as it allowed me to put what I learned into practice and build something tangible. It was an incredibly fulfilling experience.

I really enjoyed the structure of this workshop and could follow along well. It was a bit challenging however so practice makes perfect! Only the lesson on Git could have been longer - I would have loved to learn about working on the command line!

Well structured course, easily digestible and fun!

This was a great addition to the responsive skills we learned in the previous course, it is exciting to see the possibilities of coding expand even further.

Creating the Weather React project was a great learning experience. I've improved my skills in API integration and state management, gaining more confidence in React development!

I enjoyed learning and watching the visual elements within CSS grow and develop, I found that I really wanted to do my lessons and looked forward to getting stuck in.

Python is realy nice to learn.

I liked it very much! I learned a lot of advance functions in JS. The only but is that is needed a little bit of going more into the logic because is hard to get into the track.

I didn't know how to code before taking this course, but I picked up HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fast. Anyone can understand the material because it is provided in such an easy-to-understand, straightforward manner. I really think that anyone can achieve here if they have the necessary drive and confidence. Additionally, I would want to sincerely thank Matt for developing such a well-considered course. Seeing a program that not only teaches IT skills but also actively supports and encourages women to pursue careers in technology is incredibly inspiring. We appreciate you encouraging us to see our own abilities and opening the door for more powerful, gifted women in the IT industry.

SheCodes gave me a headstart I needed to venture into tech

I applied for the Delac Foundation program and it was the best decision everi took,i am getting better in coding, and getting taught without paying any money and i just wish that more women can apply especially those who are beginners in coding and wants to increase their coding skills, because Matt he is the best he makes things easier even though some are tough.

SheCodes Basics was really not something I expected, I didn't think that it would be this easy and fun to learn coding.

The AI Add On was again an amazing experience. I learned a lot about how to build and use an AI API to craft websites I am proud of. Matt makes it easy to follow along. The challenges and project were a lot of fun.

In 3 weeks, I learned a lot! I really loved how Matt didn't overwhelm me with information or bored me with information overload. He gives you the right amount, just enough to keep my engaged. I really enjoyed doing the final project.😄

React was a very challenging yet very rewarding course and with the support from the Slack community they kept me motivated and able push through any challenges.
