This was a fantastic beginner course. I have been stuck in a rotation of watching tutorials and starting on other self paced coding sites, but I am a person who needs more structure and this was perfect for me! I looked forward to it every night and the final project was soooo much fun seeing the outcome of what I created!
Coding was completely foreign to me and with the SheCodes beginner course, I've learned so much! The content and instruction was structured well and easy to understand. I certainly feel prepared to take on the next level!
I started SheCodes because I want a career in tech. I've tried other courses but I like the accountability of submitting homework. Matt's videos were easy to follow and I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

What to say ? Again awesome content, great explanations and exercises . This workshop was the most challenging one so far but I loved it. I must admit, at times it was frustrating because you have to learn some advanced concepts, but once you get it you realize it is definitely worth it because with this approach your code is much clearer and more manageable. And it's even more fun to code now. I recommend it to everyone that has passed frontend development course as the next step :)
This course was a great way to take my first steps to building responsive websites. The pace of the course is easy to follow, and being able to practice different skills step-by-step for different challenges was a great way to learn!

This course was a good start to get familiar with beginner-level coding. The structure is smart, first showing basic exercises, and then putting them into context, practice in the last two weeks, showing how the fragments interact with each other. I will continue :)

I worry a lot that I won't be able to turn this into a career. I worry that I am not able to learn the material, then I hop on and complete a lesson and watch what I am learning come to life in real time as I code. Completing the Plus project has helped to boost my confidence that I can do this! I am excited to move onto the next course.

This is my 3rd workshop I finished from SheCodes - I am so proud of the progress I've made and how this course has helped me reignite my passion for coding! So far I enjoyed the Responsive course the most as building weather apps was not really exciting to me. With Responsive you can really make the project according to your own taste, which is really fun! As always, other students and people from SheCodes stand by your side. On to React!

The best part of coding with SheCodes is that you can always ask questions in chat and be sure that you'll get an answer, which is really useful, especially when you're stuck with a task.
I just completed the SheCodes basic course through their scholarship and I loved every minute of it, even the hard parts. The lessons are detailed and make it easy for anyone to follow, even a complete beginner. The SheCodes team is available on Slack and they have an impressive response time. They constantly check in to see how you're doing even if you don't message them. I look forward to the rest of the courses.

SheCodes Plus was certainly challenging for me. I had experienced a number of predicaments during this course. When I sought for help from the SheCodes support team, they offered me external sources to get educated on which I had struggled to understand. Also, I learned a lot from a student I came across whose project I found amazing and educational. As I reached out to her, she kindly replied to my message and shared her experience in coding. I have been truly enjoying my coding journey through SheCodes. It is truly fulfilling when I get to solve the issues and make my codes work. I cannot wait to learn with SheCodes further.

The school in my opinion is one of the best for girls and women! Which has no worthy analogues. Very clear and concise, with no unnecessary information laid out. The video lessons are very interesting and understandable, even for those who have no idea what is CSS HTML and so on.. I have only positive emotions from the course I already recommend it to my friends! Thanks a lot to Matt and the Team!

SheCodes Responsive was a great add-on to the Basics and Plus content. I feel like I finally understand how to build fully responsive websites now!
It was nice to learn responsive site coding. Also being active user of Slack this time was a nice idea. Looking at the questions of the others helps to get even more practice. Especially when I was trying to find a solution for them.
SheCodes has been such an accommodating learning resource because it has taken me over a year to finally complete this intro program (with full time studies and full time work). I think I may have undiagnosed ADHD so the many extensions that were provided to me were very reassuring. I appreciate how easy to follow the challenges were and I now have a solid introduction to html, css and js. I hope I can continue on this journey some time in the future!

Very cool courses. The program is designed to be as convenient as possible - there is a lot of material, but there is still an opportunity to Google to deepen your knowledge a little.
During these three weeks, I learned that coding can be for those who want to learn it and that it is not as difficult as thought. Matt uses very simple language so everyone can understand what is being explained during the lessons. I've enjoyed everything that I learned and I think that I will be investing in my coding skills from now on!
I started these workshops to see if coding was something I could do (I'm a Chemistry major and have no knowledge of coding or programming, and I was looking for something to fill my time that was not related to my current job). All I can say is that I am hooked and look forward to the next workshop! After just a few weeks I am able to create a simple webpage or weather app and I find that pretty impressive and rewarding. I don't know if I will pursue a coding career yet...for now, I am enjoying the workshops :)

This course pushed me in a way that was super satisfying. I've learned a lot!! I enjoyed it so much that I finished ahead of schedule and I love that I was able to do it at my own pace. I found it really interesting watching Matt code and I think it's great that he didn't edit out his little errors so we can see him correct them. I feel proud of my little weather site and am super excited to jump in to the next certificate!
Being a complete novice to coding, this course was quite overwhelming at first, taking me a lot longer than the suggested study time each week, however with lots of breaks and practice I was able to produce a some-what functioning page. Not the best or prettiest work but we all have to start somewhere! I have a much clearer understanding of behind the coding now, which was my ultimate aim!

Very happy but more sad that the workshops are over. I completed all of them with a long break halfway through. React was the best workshop as it was a lot about advancing in front-end frameworks, structuring code and building something very interesting from scratch. The projects were the parts I enjoyed most as for me it is more important to have something to show instead of "just" a certificate. I felt guided and supported throughout the workshops with a great balance between autonomy and dependence. I really liked that Matt is so authentic when the code didn't work, e.g. "my god this is the kind of stuff you could spend hours on fixing this" made my day. π₯π₯°
Wow! its been an amazing Journey with SheCodes! React made me experience coding in another dimension. though i had to face some challenges and having to debug, but in the long run i had so much fun doing this! Joined SheCodes when my baby was just 3months, Am a proud nursing mum!
I'm so happy than I found a SheCodes School. Before I start my journey with codding I thought IT is very hard to styding and I need to have a special degree ,but now I understand it was a mistake! After FREE Coding Class I was so excited and start my road to IT. Tutorials are so interesting and have a lot of practise. I decided to continue my education with other workshops on SheCodes, get job in IT and improve my skills
Learning was easy to understand and I like the way how workshop was set up: learning by examples, lots of hints and useful links, tools, that I can already use.
I grew my skills and learned a lot about Bootstrap, Responsiveness, and SEO. Creating a portfolio was the highlight of the course.
