Taking a coding class as a busy mom of 2 babies seemed hard, but this course made it doable! Small quick videos and engaging challenges made learning fun. I know that I will be able to continue to build upon the skills I have just learned.
It was really useful workshop. During whole my coding lessons I was wondering how I can make websites look good on small devices. And now I know how to do it!
SheCodes Basic is a great journey in itself. I loved the way workshops are structured with challenges that give ideas for using the learnings from workshops on our own. I have learned so much about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in just 3 weeks. It's all about Learning by doing. After finishing SheCodes Basic I am feeling confident in my learning. I really enjoyed being part of this journey and looking ahead to more.
I'm happy to say that I have learned a great amount of information regarding coding, something that I thought it would be very difficult to accomplish. SheCodes gives a thorough guiding platform for those interested in learning code. I recommend it 100%!

This last module of SheCodes was challenging, to say the least, but extremely rewarding. It taught me that consistency and perseverance are key to accomplishing anything we put our minds to, even if the process might take longer than expected. My only regret is that there are no more SheCodes courses after this one and I will truly miss the lessons and the lovely team at SheCodes! I absolutely loved building on the learnings from the SheCodes Basic and to dive deeper into HTML5 , CSS and especially Javascript and API. Matt continues to impress me with his great teaching skills! 👨🏫 One thing I really like about all the SheCodes Workshops so far is that we get to design the projects all by ourselves. I don't have to build exactly the same as everyone else, in the end everyone has a completely unique project result. I believe this is very different to a lot of other courses and proves to me, that it was a great decision to choose SheCodes! I am excited to see what comes next and where this path will take me!

As for the first week, it was really sophisticated and intensive for me, sometimes I thought that I was ready to give it up... But furhter all the things have changed. The course was difficult, and some theoretical blocks were confusing. It was challenging to find the common logic since the names of div/span/ ids/classes in the given examples were constantly changing along with the HTML doc structure.

This was best coding course I took, and one of the best courses generally! The thing I liked the most is that there are real life examples, also it is done in a way that with each lesson there is challenge which you have to do by yourself. This way you can immediately check did you understood everything that has been said during lesson. It is just the right ratio between listening and practice. The structure of lessons is done in a way that you can learn lot of practical things and get general overview into coding, something that would take lot of time to figure it all on its own. Concept of deadline is also great idea, because you need to challenge and push yourself. Time is more than enough to finish everything so if you do it before deadline you feel proud😊.
It has been so much fun learning the basics of web development and it really made me want to challenge myself by learning more of it! Matt can explain things in a very clear way, and having the challenges and homework really helped keeping me accountable for it.

Would recommend for someone looking to learn web development basics. Would be beneficial to have 6 weeks instead of 3 lets say, with more practice projects. Otherwise, really enjoyed the format of lessons and video instructions.

This was a fantastic beginner course. I have been stuck in a rotation of watching tutorials and starting on other self paced coding sites, but I am a person who needs more structure and this was perfect for me!
