The Basics workshop exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this program for busy women to learn code on a part-time basis. This was a great way to learn the foundations of coding and how webpages are built. The lessons were challenging, yet manageable. The instructors and fellow students are so helpful and engaging. The pace and the structure of instruction was excellent, perfect for beginners!
Thank you to the SheCodes team for building a strong, supportive community within which women can grow and develop their professional skills. I went from knowing a little about coding languages to feeling more confident in my knowledge in just 1 month. The course is very well put together with a step-by-step structure that makes learning fun! :) Would really recommend to anyone considering up-skilling!
It definitely challenged me and there were many moments where I felt like I couldn't get my code to work properly. However I tried my best to troubleshoot and was usually able to fix the problem or find a new solution. I'm excited to learn more facets of coding.
Great time! Easy to follow along the students we're all very helpful as well. Slack was a great tool to use to better understand the lesson and exercises.

I love how practical the workshop is, the challenges after each lesson helps you implement what you have learnt from the lesson. Its amazing how you go from no experience to building a whole page. I recommend it 100%.

I currently am a teacher but I am looking to transfer to a profession outside of the classroom. I found SheCodes through a teacher transition Facebook group and took the free intro class. I decided to try the Basics course to see if coding was something I could even begin to explore as I had zero prior experience. The course was very easy to follow and manageable to commit to even while working full time. I felt so proud of myself as I accomplished each challenge and homework assignment and even more proud to have completed my first project! I definitely will sign up for another course to gain even more skills and confidence in myself!

This was much more of a challenge than Basics! I had to spend a lot more time practicing with JavaScript but I'm glad that I pushed through. I learned so much during SheCodes Plus and I can't wait to take what I've learned and start applying it to my own apps!

I enjoyed this journey with SheCodes Workshop and the team, from the beginning with the basic workshop to the end with the React workshop. I recommend that once the course starts, the process be continuous, because it requires constant practice and if the next workshop is on pause, it is very likely that when you resume it, a review of the previous one will be required. I took this workshop with the idea of ββa career change, I can't wait to put what I've learned into practice and be able to dedicate myself to it, although I know I still have a long way to go, I feel confident that with these tools I can achieve it.
That was an exciting and interesting course for me. I really enjoy learning new techniques in CSS and HTML. I hope that will be a sound basis for my further moving toward programming.

React is difficult topic to lern, but lessons constructed understandable and interesting!
This course was more difficult for me than the first one, but I tried to understand everything. I still have a lot to learn on my own to do what we did in the final project. But I hope to keep moving forward with SheCodes.
I have learned CSS, HTML, and Javascript with SheCodes and I loved it. I felt it is like a game and most of the time I was like: "Let's go play some designing game!" I am particularly into the project, making a website from the first to what I wanted was so interesting. It was so much fun that I couldn't stop it.
I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn the basics of html, css and javascript! It's the perfect Start to the world of frontend-development.

Great workshop for learning responsive web design.
I was very happy that I started this course. Before I was still struggling with the social stereotypes that set all these limitations and boundaries when it comes to our professional life and opportunities. This cou I would definitely recommend this course to my friends and for all the women who is interested in technology or just wants to try something new and challenging. This is a perfect introductory course to check if it is something you like. Maybe in the end it turns out that it is not your cup of tea bot it is still worth a try in my opinion. I personally really loved this course and I am happy I gave it a chance and I am looking forward to continue it :)

Great workshop that makes you think about how websites are viewed and how you as a developer can create websites for the different types of users.
SheCodes helped me learn basic HTML in 2 weeks--something my high school couldn't teach me in a whole semester! I was able to create a fun landing page that I am proud of with what I learned from SheCodes. It was easy and fun to learn, and I would recommend it to anyone who's even considering learning about coding.
After completing SheCodes Basics, I can not wait to continue my journey through SheCodes Max! I am a new mom working on changing careers from an Elementary Music Teacher. Through SheCodes' fun and easy-to-follow courses, I now see that is a possibility.

Learning new things is hard π , but the videos and step-by-step tutorials were incredibly helpful in the journey. πI feel confident to (at least) replicate what has been built and to attempt other API integrations.
