First i should say thanks to Shecodes group for this course, this is a very complete and attractive course. In this course i've learned how to create responsive pages. I know that i should practice more to learn that.

Changing website themes, background images and image transitions were great skills to learn as I've seen them on some cool websites, and it's nice to be able to do for myself. Great, short class!

Althouth it was very difficult to work with and finish my final project because of great problems in Ukarainian electrical power system and caused instant interruptions of electricity, - I've done it! Matt and his videos - was as a ray of light in our black days )
I found shecodes after dropping a college courses on HTML & CSS. Shecodes let me learn at my own pace and provided me projects to keep the learning fun. I would definitely recommend shecodes to a friend.
This course was a great introduction to coding! I knew literally nothing about coding before I started this class and now I feel like I have the basics that I need to understand front-end development. I appreciated the challenges and the videos explaining the solution. I had a lot of fun with my final project and hopefully can find time to complete the more advanced courses in the future.

Interesting to learn styling without Bootstrap
Consuming API with JavaScript was challenging but Matt made it so easy. I can now code comfortably with JavaScript thanks to SheCodes.
I am going from being a music teacher to a product manager. The SheCodes course is an engaging way to gain necessary skills in my new field.
It was a bit trickier than I was expecting. I enjoyed learning the coding but was looking for more details on API use. I work for a tech company (customer support) and was looking for a better understanding of this. However, learning how to code is definitely a great addition to my skill set.
This is my second graduation and I have to say coding is still as fun as it was when I started just a little more complex. I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!

It was so fun taking everything that we have learned and amping up the stakes. While it was challenging to build this project, the foundation was super easy to complete. I spent more time working on new styling techniques and having fun researching new things to add!

Thank You SheCodes for this rear opportunity, it was a privilege to be part of this workshop, I highly recommend SheCodes to women who want to learn coding from scratch. I had no prior knowledge of coding, after completing the basics class I can confidently code using Html, CSS and JavaScript.
The step-by-step approach is clear and easy to follow, by the end of each class you've gained a basic understanding of each concept and then are able to try and apply those concepts yourself. Looking forward to the next workshop!

I have been trying to learn how to code by reading books and study from free/purchased online resources, but I gave up so many times because I didn't get it at all. I gave it a try again with SheCodes. And I can't believe I created webpage in 2 days! (It's actually 1-week course, but I spent my whole weekend on learning SheCodes Basic). I don't know how Matt made it so easy to understand, like, How didn't I understand this in the other places? lol

I'm very grateful to Matt and his team for creating this wonderful resource! While I wish there was more one-on-one guidance from professionals and experts in the field for the sake of professional development, the videos do a great job of teaching the technical side of front-end development, breaking down processes into highly digestible chunks.
With SheCodes, Yana was able to understand the HTML, CSS and Javascript components and used her new skills to create a landing page which will be expanded into a website in the future. She gained valuable coding experience and confidence in using the coding programs through the basics SheCodes course.
Although this course was more challenging than the previous one, it was definitely worth it.

I come from an outdoor environmental education, services, and stay-at-home mom background. I knew my way around Microsoft Word and could connect my phone bluetooth to my car....and that's about it. If I could do this then so can you! If you're on the fence, just do it. JUST TRY IT! Matt really breaks it down for you. I'm not going to lie, it was frustrating at times, but it was even more gratifying to solve the problem by myself and see the results of my hard work.
The instructions are interesting and easy to follow. If you have been interested in learning how to code, this is the workshop for you to get started.
