Love the new option to add-on more projects. The basics add-on was a good refresh with opportunity to learn new HTML and CSS techniques before diving deeper into coding journey.

It was very interesting. The course syllabus is useful and fun. Lots of interesting tasks and useful information. But a day I had to allocate about three hours for learning to code. It was an interesting experience.

I enjoyed the other SheCodes workshops (Basic and Plus), but the React workshop was very disappointing. The help from the SheCodes Slack channel was pretty apathetic - my questions and the questions of other students were often "answered" with really short and thoughtless responses that made it clear that the team was not actually looking very closely at our issues. At the time of writing this testimonial, React is on version 18, but Matt is teaching version 16 after making a big to-do about always teaching us the latest version. The changes between the two aren't that significant, but they were significant enough that it made completing challenges more difficult than they should have been. I am also appalled at how often I have heard "just Google it" during this course. I paid to learn React, have someone walk me through the terminology, and follow a step-by-step guide, NOT to read forum after forum of coding jargon I don't understand. It was also very disheartening to have to complete a weather application YET AGAIN after going through it once (or twice, if you count the last two weeks of the program) in the Plus course. All in all, I did learn about React during this course, but I feel completely unprepared to tackle it in any scenario outside of a weather app.
This is amazing!!! A couple of months ago, I had a vague idea about programming. Now I can make the site the way I want. Coding is a very exciting process! I am very grateful to Matt Delac and his team for the opportunity to receive this necessary and useful knowledge.

This is a really good course for an introduction to HTML, CSS and Javascript. The videos are very easy to follow along with enough time to complete all lessons and projects. At first, it was a bit tricky considering a semicolon was the difference between completion and some 30 minutes spent in complete confusion but once I recognized those small peculiarities and learned from them, the final project was very manageable and everything fell into place very smoothly.
SheCodes Plus had a lot of chalenges, mainly understanding how JavaScript variables and functions relate to with each other to make things work and create interaction with the User. Sometimes it is frustrating when things don't work, but then, if I compare what I did with the solution, if I search for specific code, if I ask other people and if I try again and again, or if I rest a little bit and leave my doubts for the next day, eventually a solution pops out. In the end, when things start working, I feel happy with the result and with the fact that I was able to create something of my own using code!

As someone who has never written a line of code before, I found this workshop not only informative and up-to-date, but engaging and I looked forward to completing the tasks each week! I am very pleased with how the structure of the bootcamp is laid out. This was my first introductory into coding and I must admit, I don't hate it yet! It's a good introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScipt. It's a lot of information, but the lessons are broken down into small enough sections to help understand the concepts and apply them with hands on challenges.
Once again, Matt and the team proven to have excellent methods to learn coding. What I appreciate most it's all the resources (openSource) provided throughout the course, which allow for a faster development and usage of what has been learnt. Thank you so much everyone for this initiative!

React has been really interesting to dive in, and we can also take the chance to improve the weather app we did from the Plus workshop! I've recently started this course and thought I'd struggle with two young kids and a full time job, but the content is in bite-sized manageable pieces so I can squeeze in half an hour when I need to. The content is also easy to follow with good challenges at the end to test your knowledge and really help commit the content to memory.
