This workshop has been quite the ride! So much guidance every step plus online support for when you just can't get it working the way you are intending. There was so much information and techniques in these few weeks that I feel I am more comfortable using HTML, CSS, and even Javascript. Building a real working web app is such a fantastic way of truly understanding the concepts of how these languages all work together to create something fun and useful.
I was very discouraged starting out but the videos are very thorough and broken down in the perfect amount of time to take in what you are learning. The team on slack is great and are so helpful!

This is a great workshop, and the best thing is that, this is a workshop and you have to do all the stuff yourself, so it wouldn't be like a online course in which you only have to watch videos. Here with having deadlines and fun challenges, not only I learnt a lot, but also it really helped me building confidence in what I can do and what I know.

This workshop was incredibly valuable. Many websites are viewed on viewports smaller than a desktop so having the skill to build a responsive website will be greatly beneficial.

An excellent workshop for anyone who wants a comprehensive introduction into coding skills.
When I first started this program I was a bit nervous because I thought the course was going to be hard. However, this program does a great job of breaking down concepts and making them more comfortable to learn. This program is very flexible, which I love, considering that life can get hectic at times. You can tell that SheCodes was crafted with consideration and care! I am very satisfied with my experience and will totally recommend anyone who wants to learn to start here.

This workshop was fantastic! I loved how each lesson built upon the previous one. Matt is a great teacher, he explains what he's doing and why he's doing it. After struggling with self-directed learning, I was looking for somewhere I could get more support and feedback and also keep me on track each week. I'm so glad I found SheCodes! The whole experience was friendly, inclusive and encouraging and I can't wait to get started on the next workshop.
I was nervous that learning how to code would be frustrating; however, this was not the case. The lessons were well-explained. I found it easy to follow along. Finished SheCodes Basic in only three days.

Matt Delac is the best, i can say have had issues writing javascript for a longtime even with youtube videos. But no one has been able to do justice to it like matt did. Am super excited i now understand the basics of javascript. Looking forward to learning more in the Shecodes plus
I took SheCodes Basics during the summer up until now and let me just say, it was worth it! It's only a 3-week program, so it doesn't take much of your time but you definitely still learn a lot. For the price, I believe it's worth it as you gain so much knowledge about HTML, CSS, and Javascript as a beginner.
It was not easy, but I enjoyed the challenge of making every piece of the app work! I am grateful to Matt and SheCodes team for this experience. I highly recommend to join SheCodes courses. I cant wait to start the next part :)
Each course I have taken so far in SheCodes has been enlightening. I like that the workshops have a lot of practice labs. It also allows us to be creative with our homework and try something new from what we have learnt. SheCodes makes learning fun; I will recommend SheCodes courses to anyone who wants to learn how to code.

Excelent course for a more in depth learning of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Final project (Vanilla Weather App) allows you to really put into practice what you learn throughout the course.

I am so glad I decided to take this online course. I was surprised by how much the Basics program taught me. I can finally say that I built a website! My website could have been more technical, though I require more knowledge. Learning about coding is interesting to me. Knowing this, I do wish to pursue coding as a career! This program is an insight into front-end development. Thankfully, Matt provides step-by-step videos for each lesson. If you get confused with assignments, there is a group chat (Slack) with students and team members who can aid you. I advise anyone interested in coding to at least try the Basics program to get their feet wet.

At first, coding sounded very intimidating and I knew it was going to be a challenge but this was something I wanted to do for a very long time to make that career change. After going through the SheCodes Basic workshop, it helped me gain confidence that I can do this. Although there were struggles and frustrations along the way, I kept at it and Matt did a great job explaining how to code step by step. I had a lot of fun doing the final project and seeing the results is very satisfying that I was able to create it from scratch. I am looking forward to the other workshops ahead and learning more.

The coding workshop video was very good. Its really beginner friendly.
It was really interesting studying what was changing from feeling like "I don't understand anything" to feeling like "Wow, I created something and it works". I liked that we had many practical tasks. I understand that it was just the start of my coding way, but I'm glad that the first steps I did with SheCodes.
The first day I started this course, I didn't think I would like react this much. Thanks a lot for helping me discover my talent and improve it. This course is over, but I will never stop learning. I am very happy that these four wonderful courses I spent time with your unique team, and if you organize a new course, I will do my best to participate in it.
My past experience made me hesitant to try and learn to code. I've completed the Basics and Plus workshops and I'm surprised by how much I've enjoyed learning to code. I really like that the challenges and homework help to reinforce the information that was taught. The fact that I was able to code a functioning weather app is a testament to how well the lessons are presented. My project
I decided to take this course to see if I could get the hang of something that has always interested me. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and worked as a Paralegal for an immigration law firm for many years before becoming a stay at home mom for a few years. I'm looking to kick start a new career and this is just what I needed to see if I could grasp the concept of coding and actually understand the basics. Thank you SheCodes! I fell in love with it! Looking forward to completing more advanced coding courses.

SheCodes React pushed my understanding of coding basics and allowed me to utilize the tools I'd learned in previous courses to create new and interesting projects. Classes were manageable in both time and complexity and I recommend to anyone who is considering a career in coding!
