Building the weather app was challenging but very rewarding at the end πͺπͺ I like Matt's structured and step by step approach. However, some information isn't completely updated.

This is the end of SheCodes Responsive. I want to say a huge thank you to Matt for this project. This is a rather soft and capacious course. It let me get a lot of basic pieces of knowledge in front-end development in my free time. It was very interesting.

I just want to say there are not enough good things I can say about this program! I firmly believe that it is instrumental in really helping to accomplish its goals of helping beginners in the Frontend development space. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to begin a career in tech!
Its was really fun and easy to follow and if you felt unsure you are fully supported by the teachers or you can even get help from your fellow students because everyone is really friendly.:) It was 100% enjoyable and hope to learn more in the future.
It's a good introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScipt. It's a lot of information, but the lessons are broken down into small enough sections to help understand the concepts and apply them with hands on challenges.
Once again, Matt and the team proven to have excellent methods to learn coding. What I appreciate most it's all the resources (openSource) provided throughout the course, which allow for a faster development and usage of what has been learnt. Thank you so much everyone for this initiative!

Wow what a fun ride! Looking back 5 months ago when I first started this journey I knew nothing about coding, and now I'm able to build a weather app. This app looks simple but there was a lot of hard work behind it. Can't wait to learn more about React!

The Plus course is more challenging but the lessons are very well thought through and still easy to follow. I appreciate seeing the whole process of a developerβs work β how to start building an app from scratch, how to improve the code, and how to fix bugs.

React has been really interesting to dive in, and we can also take the chance to improve the weather app we did from the Plus workshop! Always a pleasure to be learning from Matt and seeing how he is also learning together with us during the videos, and debugging issues we encounter at the same time. I learned a lot from all these workshops and really looking forward to see what I can do with my skills. I also appreciate the SheCodes team checking and following up with us on Slack to see how we are progressing at times as well. It is a great experience from the beginning to the end, and I will highly recommend people who are keen to jump into coding, this is one of the best places to start!

I have wanted to do a workshop that covered JavaScript. I am glad I signed up for the workshop. I learned many new things in such a short amount of time. I definitely recommend this workshop to anyone that is interested in coding!

who would believe that a girl who had no knowledge about coding is now a pro at it? After completing my basics workshop with SheCodes, I discovered a new part of me that has been in hiding. The projects are really interesting but definitely not for beginners.
Matt makes coding so easy to understand and fun! The course is well-paced and filled with practical challenges to work on to really drill in the concepts taught. Even though this is an online course, SheCodes has created a highly responsive support community on Slack and the website is filled with resources to guide you every step of the way. Definitely a high value course. Highly recommend!
If you are taking any SheCodes workshop, I highly recommend signing up for the "Add On" course after each workshop. It gives you a chance to apply the knowledge from the previous workshop plus learn advanced coding techniques as a beginner developer. I'm looking forward advancing my Front End Developer skills in SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes has introduced the fundamental concepts of web development. I loved how all the lessons were formulated, and I found the practice exercises followed by each module to be very beneficial for my learning.

The SheCodes Basics Add-On is a great course to expand on the knowledge that you gain in the Basics course. I highly recommend this addition.
I've recently started this course and thought I'd struggle with two young kids and a full time job, but the content is in bite-sized manageable pieces so I can squeeze in half an hour when I need to. The content is also easy to follow with good challenges at the end to test your knowledge and really help commit the content to memory.
I am highly excited and am so happy and fortunate to have been part of this workshop it is one of my best experience this year. I had to take a bit of a break from coding due to real life getting in the way, and this course was just what I needed to get back into the swing of things. This was a really really great way to brush up on all the fundamentals that I learned in my other SheCodes courses, all whilst learning new techniques along the way. Looking forward to the other add on courses!
