This was a very intense course but worth it. Definitely not easy but once you understand how it really works its actually interesting. For a person with 0 coding skills and to be able to built this project its a very proud moment.Thank you sheCodes it was a very fruitful 8 weeks.

I was interested in coding for so long time ago, but didn't know where to start and SheCodes was my first step to really dive in the coding tech world. Thanks to Matt, who makes the class so easy and fun to learn. I'm so excited to continue the next course and build more skills to help me create a new career in the tech industry.

Another milestone covered- I take a look at my project and still find it hard to believe that this was a person with no coding knowledge about 3 months ago.

If you always think that coding is baffling and you do not belong to the coding world, SheCodes can change your mind. This workshop was a great journey for me and I'm looking forward to start the next one. The best part about the workshop is that each topic is divided into short videos and challenges which by completing each of them, you feel accomplished. In other words, it builds your confidence step by step. Matt is a great teacher who makes everything look like a piece of cake. Thank you Matt and SheCodes team for support!

The workshop was extremely informative and absolutely great. I look forward to taking future workshops with SheCodes to further my front-end development knowledge and to eventually change career. I should say, the course is more complicated than the previous one. It's perfectly done because it includes a review of the basics. I loved this course although sometimes it was tough for me to understand everything. Thanks a lot for this opportunity to dive into the coding world.

I this course, I learned some tips specially in working with VS Code. Also cheat sheets are useful for every newcomer programmers like me.

I never thought i could come near coding because i use to believe it's for people who are good with formulas haha just hearing javascript i feel sick so i feel am only good with Nutrition 😂 Before now i couldn't write a single line of code but see what i have built in 3 weeks of learning with Matt! This was a fun workshop to learn how to create a responsive site with multiple pages! I created my portfolio to showcase my projects with the skills I learned in this workshop. Cannot wait to add more to my portfolio!

I was looking to broaden my current skills and become more marketable when I found SheCodes. I was able to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while working full time at my current job. The flexibility, support, and videos really set SheCodes apart from other bootcamps. This program was super flexible and convenient. It truly helped me get over my fear of learning to code and broke down the process in a way that was easy to understand and engaging but still challenging. Each correctly completed exercise that preceded built my confidence for the homework submissions, and the homework submissions made the final project that much easier to complete. I am eternally grateful to have followed through with SheCodes!

Good introduction into coding, good learning resources

I struggled a bit to understand the function, if/else coding, but after practicing and watching Matt walk through each process, I am more confident than ever.

Great workshop! Nice to learn more about how designs are made through programs such as Figma and how to code websites with purely using HTML and CSS without Bootstrap

This is an amazing course, I have learned so much in so little time, and Matt is an excellent teacher. Because of his amazing teaching style, I am able to learn individual concepts and put them to use in different ways. Everything has been clicking so well. I am loving this process!

i had already studied some languages but this refreshed my mind. i have a busy schedule but i worked at any hour i wanted even at night and at the end of every lesson theres a challenge which can help put into practice what was being studied.

I would recommend this course to anyone who would like to gain knowledge of responsiveness on different devices, especially using Bootstrap, which seems to be a skill currently in high demand. SheCodes Basics was a good introduction to the world of coding. I appreciated all the challenges along the way. Being able to watch tutorials and then put those ideas into action really helped me learn. The projects and homework were my favorite because I felt like those allowed me to create and problem solve independently. Great course so far - looking forward to what is next.

I think this is a big improvement in my skills. I learned to read and write code and understand my own and others' mistakes in the topics studied. Just a few months ago, this was not possible! Working on this project was so much fun ! I notice that having a little bit of experience helps :) If a few months ago I would be really concerned whenever a bug comes up or I get stuck , now I know that most bugs have a solution or a reason, it's just the mind which needs a break. Leaving the project for a while only to return to it with fresh concertation power works like magic for me. Happy coding to all!

This course was amazing because it takes you by the hand and teaches you how to code, step by step. I love the Matt features in the course videos, making the learning fun. However above all, the course is well structured so it is easy to get inspired and implement the techniques. All in all, I expended a great time during this course.

I loved this workshop, I was able to learn so much about the job market. I wasn't feeling too confident about looking for a job before taking this workshop but now I feel way more confident!

React was certainly more challenging but in a good way. You get to see the difference between each workshop. React is more complex but Matt guides you and explains every single step for the projects. You get to learn and understand the each step for the components and every code. Also, the slack channel also helps you understand and add any new code you like to add to your project.

This program is easy to follow and the instruction is great! Even during the more difficult courses, Matt's explanations and examples make the information far less intimidating. I also like that we are doing real-life applications of the programs/languages during the courses. The programming cheat sheets, color gradients, etc., were an unexpected find but are super helpful and easy to navigate. Coding was something I always wanted to do and thought I could learn on my own, but as a mother of two young children, a workshop such as this is exactly what I needed to help me stay accountable, organized, and motivated to become certified as a Front-End Developer.

I really enjoyed the workshops. I would love to learn everything about Java with SheCodes!

Studing React were my favourite lessons. I hope to work with it in future.

I had such a good time learning how to code, thank you SheCodes team so much.❤️ The course materials were easy and fun to follow. Can't wait for the next workshop to start.

When I first joined this 3 week course I didn't know what to expect whatsoever, however after the first week of the classes I understood that this is what I love to do and how much potential I could have completing it. I found it very useful that I could push back the deadlines for the homework as I had university deadlines due too. Everything that Matt explained during the videos was clear and concise and very understandable.

Learning to code with SheCodes is so much fun! The tutorials are so complete and helpful! I believe it is the best source for beginners as they are really easy to understand.

It's a great workshop which teaches you how to build app on React in an easy way!

Outstanding workshop that guides you through the steps and procedures to take once you finish your coding training process. Topics such as how to build a professional portfolio, resume and Linkedin profile; how to identify and apply for jobs, how to network successfully or how to stay active programming, are addressed throughout this workshop. A valuable behind-the-scenes guide for anyone who wants to enter or advance in the world of technology.

I would say that the "she codes" workshop was terrific. I loved the workshop environment, the teaching method, and the exercises. I highly recommend "she codes" to everyone I know who has a passion to learn to code.

I was nervous when I started the course and it was a bit daunting at first as I had no idea at all how to code before this. By the end of the course, I felt a lot more confident with what I was doing and enjoyed making my final project. Would love to go on and try the next courses when I have time in my crazy schedule

Loving SheCodes Workshops so far, the bite size lessons can fit anywhere into your schedule. The info is repeated in small doses so you have the chance to absorb and use the coding you are learning multiple times. Really makes it stick! 🧠
