I really appreciate the Shecodes team's effort to provide such valuable resources for women around the world. I have successfully finished the basic workshop and I am eagerly waiting to start the next workshop. I strongly recommend these workshops to all women for a brighter work future.

I've never thought I would understand anything about code, but this workshop has definitely taught me the basics in such a simple way that I now feel I could actually learn more. I'm very happy to have challenged myself on this. :)

Matt is an amazing teacher! He helped me transition into the world of HTML, CSS and JS and explained every single concept in depth with examples. I'm a CS major but I wanted to expand my knowledge about Web Development and didn't know where to start. Would definitely recommend SheCodes to those who have no experience with coding and want to break into tech.

SheCodes Plus was certainly challenging than SheCodes Basic. I've learned more advanced JS and got to know the process of website hosting. Overall, I enjoyed the process and am happy with my results. Hope to take more coding classes in the future!

I have absolutely loved my coding journey through SheCodes. React was definitely challenging at times but I loved the moments when it all would click and I had figured out the problem. I enjoyed this program so much and I am so excited to move on into a new career in development.

Class had good information and concepts, but felt somewhat disorganized. I learned a decent amount for being an intro to basics.

This workshop has helped me so much. I love the way the exercises are built, making it very easy and simple to learn the material. It was very fun being able to understand the concepts fast and and I can't wait to learn more!

Great introduction to coding! Just the right amount of challenge but also fun and engaging.I had no prior knowledge to coding at all and the basic course was a great way to learn the basics.

This course was a nice reprieve from the previous project. It felt like a solid refresher on HTML and CSS while teaching new concepts.

I would recommend doing this project add-on before moving on to Plus. I think doing these in the opposite order made Plus harder for me, but this much easier. All in, I'm thankful to have the opportunity to do another project on the more basic level!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself throughout the learning period. Matt does not only make it look easy to learn coding, it is actually easy because he is a great instructor.

SheCodes has a given me a platform to empower myself as a South African. The course was beginner friendly and our instructor has a way to simplify everything. I would recommend this program to anyone who would want to understand web development.

For someone who didn't know anything about coding I absolutely loved it. I liked that I can complete my lessons whenever during the week but also having a deadline. Also the challenges were super fun and allowed me to test my ability.

The SheCodes Responsive workshop was a fantastic learning experience! I am so happy that I now know how to make my websites responsive. These skills will be really helpful as I continue to learn more about front-end development.

I loved how I could complete the lessons on my own time. Even during the holidays, this program was very flexible and allowed me to extend deadlines according to my busy schedule.

I'm genuinely so glad i did this course! I knew i was into tech but didnt really have much of a foot to stand on, i knew alot of general knowledge but the actual pratical work i never really had the chance of doing or just didnt know where to start. Even though its the basics ive been able to test the waters and see what I'm interested in and this was definitely something i would do again! :)

This workshop was really interesting and challenging! I felt like I learned a lot more about coding and improved some of my skills but I did struggle sometimes. This workshop wasn't the easiest but it had great challenges and gives you great learning experience and practice!

This workshop was super fun, I am so satisfied every time my idea works out, and I love that I can make my website responsive. I'm proud of myself how much i have learned, thank you SheCodes.

Another amazing project!

I didn't expect to actually enjoy myself while learning to code, but I did! The SheCodes Basics workshop is laid out in a very digestible, easy-to-follow way. The bite-sized video lessons followed by challenges really helped me stay interested and absorb the material. Matt is a great teacher to guide you into the world of coding. This add-on was a great way to further the skills I learned in SheCodes Basic. I am much more confident in my abilities to code using basic HTML, CSS and Javascript.

I've always enjoyed creating things and problem solving. After 9 years at my customer service job I was looking to make a change and grow a new skill. I stumbled onto coding while searching online for new avenues. I took a free class on some different sites, found I really enjoyed it and began my journey of learning more. I found SheCodes and took the free class. I've just finished my basics workshop and look forward to continuing forward and become a developer.

SheCodes Basics has been great! I've really enjoyed learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Matt is a great teacher, the lessons are well structured, and it's a great starting point for anyone who wants to learn how to code!

Can't realize these workshops came to an end. Interesting how was it hard in the beginning and not only and how I found out that I'm on the way with React and do like it the most) There's a lot of things I obviously have to learn more but I feel I'm on the railway that is gonna bring me to the right point. It was a good thing to have done the Add On since I could practice JS a bit more!

I had never really done any of this before and it was surprising how fun it became. The videos were easily digestible and in combination with slack I felt like I was easily able to answer any questions I had that came up! I built a webpage, how crazy cool is that?!

The course needs more in depth explanations of why the instructor is making certain choices instead of the phrase "trust me" which is used many times. For the price, I feel the course should offer a lot more information on how React actually works, currently it seems that it is a very "copy what I do" style of teaching which in the long run is not helpful for aspiring devs.

Another really fun project finished. All though the portfolio will be a work in progress in the coming time too. Like I've said before, I really enjoy learning to code through SheCodes! I will continue to the next project and definitely recommend this training.
