Good course!

I have been scared of learning how to code because of how difficult people say it is but with this workshop, I saw myself handling coding challenges with little or no difficulties. Thank you SheCodes for giving me a solid START!

It was good long journey with she codes. Had some difficulties in some assignments but could get help from my colleagues and mentors from slack. Totally loved the way they taught me. It was all super interesting and easy to learn.

This workshop was an excellent introduction to html CSS and JavaScript. I was taught so many things that I will definitely use as I venture into the technology industry.

Great program! Matt’s lessons & videos are well presented and the SheCodes staff are so incredibly supportive.

It is truly one of the best schools and methodologies for teaching programming, which is suitable for self-organized people. You must be responsible, be able to properly organize your training, have strong motivation and purpose. In this case, you are guaranteed success. Because Matt explains everything very clearly in his lessons, there is a very convenient Slack where you can find answers to your questions about challenges or homework. If something does not work out, you can always contact the support team and they will always answer your question, even if it is not very smart;). Definitely thank you🙏 and highly recommend!

I had a lot of fun building this landing page and learned many useful techniques to build even more sophisticated websites.

Overall good, though I wish the teacher would stop changing the code from the videos in the source code at times

The SheCodes basic workshop makes learning basic HTML, CSS And JVS extremely easy.

The add-on course was really fun! I was really inspired to explore and try experimenting and learning things on my own.

This was a really great experience. I love how Matt explained everything. I loved the idea of learn then actually practice hands on. I find it very difficult to sit and watch long videos and PowerPoints. I like how Matt broke everything down into smaller categories and provided an opportunity to actually practice after teaching through a short video. I am a hands-on learner and I feel that he catered to my learning style.

Loved learning about building responsive websites and Figma. This was a great class and really built upon the lessons in the first classes. Thank you SheCodes team!

I sincerely appreciate the SheCodes Basics program for allowing me the opportunity to pursue one of my curiosities, while also keeping the process fun and engaging. I am grateful to have learned from an instructor who is not only passionate about coding, but who is also extremely knowledgeable. Matt's ability to assemble seamless and well-structured lessons allowed for me to have an incredibly beginner-friendly coding experience.

This was a great introduction to coding. Coming from a background with absolutely no prior experience I was very skeptical as to wether or not I'd learn anything. I loved the beginners course so much I quickly enrolled myself into the plus course! I learned so much more this time around and can't wait to sign up for the next bootcamp through SheCodes. Lessons were easy to understand and the assignments were a great tool to practice and understand the coding language. As a teacher myself, I highly recommend this workshop to anyone uncertain about signing up. It has been the best investment I've made in a long time!

I thoroughly enjoyed learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Matt's videos were very clear and the challenges really help cement what was taught in the lessons.

I really enjoyed my learning journey with SheCodes! I thought it would be overwhelming but the courses were broken up into short specific sections which made it simple to follow along. I am now comfortable with my coding knowledge to work on my portfolio!

I really enjoyed this course. I have a hard time focusing on videos sometimes, but I love that they are very well divided and digestible, so it doesn't feel like too much information. Coding itself is so fun and I appreciate that SheCodes creates such a comprehensive guide to it.

This add-on put my basic knowledge on a stronger fundament. I can recommend to everyone, who want to be able to make fun and interesting websites.

Learned the things I wanted to learn like what is an API and Github. Best thing was that I could ask actual people for help, every time I got stuck and they helped me out real quick.

I have always been so scared of coding, it looks so intense. SheCodes made coding not only fun but easy to understand. I found myself so excited to get to the next lesson and learn more. Matt does an amazing job explaining and breaking down all of the areas you need to code successfully. I do not think I have ever taken a course where the homework didn't feel like homework! With SheCodes the weekly homework assignments just added to the experience. The final project was so much fun to piece together. There were definitely moments I got stuck but Matt is an excellent teacher and prepares you with all of the tools you will need to hand in a successful project! I truly enjoyed the course in its entirety.

I had no knowledge of coding prior to this workshop and I learned a lot. It was beginner friendly. The workshop was perfect and I would recommend to everyone. Matt is a great teacher. I am now a "happy coder"

I passed basic level of html.

SheCodes Plus was much more challenging than SheCodes Basic, and yet I really enjoyed the deep dive, specially the more advanced JS and the introduction to netlify.

I love the way in which this course encourages you to research code and makes you practice what you learn with small challenges. It not only teaches you the basics in really practical ways but also introduces you to practice real life skills that programmers need to build, like looking up answers, researching, inspecting code, and not being afraid of figuring out the answer instead of knowing it right away. I'm excited to keep learning! Thank you SheCodes 😊

SheCodes Basics gave me a nice first look at front-end development, and I am honestly a little sad that it is already over. I enjoyed every lesson in this course.

I came in with no coding knowledge and yet learned so much in the past three weeks, and found it easy to understand throughout my coding journey. I can now fully say that I am a confident Coder.😎😎

As a person working in health care, the world of programming has always seemed very mysterious and intimidating to me, but this course has really made it interesting and enjoyable. The tools and resources SheCodes provides are super helpful and the lessons are clear and thorough. Also, the community that SheCodes team has built is wonderful, everyone is very supportive and cooperative. I would definitely recommend the Basics course if you want to get acquainted with coding in a fun and easily digestible way.

A great introductory course to coding. I found Matt's instructions to be very helpful, even as someone that had no prior background in coding. I would say that the first week is definitely the hardest, but once you grasp the basics, all the information you are learning makes sense and builds upon itself. I also found it helpful to watch the videos and practice the exercises at the same time (kinesthetic learner) and pausing/rewinding when I needed too. Also the extensions were a real life-saver around the holidays! Thanks for including that option!

Course is just amazing for the beginners. Easy to follow and to stay on schedule. The lessons are split in a practical and convenient way. It is a lot of fun to do the challenges and the homework. Finding motivation was never an issue.

SheCodes Responsive workshops were great for making your website mobile-friendly for all devices.

Within the first 3 weeks, I already had a chance to do smth practical, not just listen to the sessions. And I finally saw that learning coding is possible! Although much effort is required).

The course is well-built and easy to follow. Learning React is challenging but the clarity of tutorials and the assignments help you to understand React step by step. Now that I've completed all the workshops, I strongly recommend them to all who look for a brighter work future.
